| 58. | This man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus' body. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given up. | He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. | 65. | Pilate said to them, "You have a guard. | 66. | So they went with the guard and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone. | So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. | οι δε πορευθεντες ησφαλισαντο τον ταφον σφραγισαντες τον λιθον μετα της κουστωδιας | and they, having gone, did make the sepulchre secure, having sealed the stone, together with the watch. | illi autem abeuntes munierunt sepulchrum signantes lapidem cum custodibus | ||||
