1.  *     They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger. So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe."     THEY WILL ASK thee about the spoils of war. Say: "All spoils of war belong to God and the Apostle." Remain, then, conscious of God, and keep alive the bonds of brotherhood among yourselves,' and pay heed unto God and His Apostle, if you are [truly] believers!     They ask/question you about the spoils/gifts. Say: "The spoils/gifts (are) to God and the messenger, so fear and obey God and correct/repair that what is between you, and obey God and His messenger, if you were believing."     swr+ alanfal  bsm allh alrHmn alrHym  ysAlwnk `n alanfal ql alanfal llh walrswl fatqwa allh waSlHwa Xat bynkm waTy`wa allh wrswlh an kntm mWmnyn
 
2.  *     For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord;     Believers are only they whose hearts tremble with awe whenever God is mentioned, and whose faith is strengthened whenever His messages are conveyed unto them,; and who in their Sustainer place their trust -     But the believers (are) those who if God was mentioned/remembered/praised their hearts/minds become afraid/apprehensive, and if His verses/evidences were read/recited on them, it increased them faith/belief, and on their Lord they depend/trust in.     anma almWmnwn alXyn aXa Xkr allh wjlt qlwbhm waXa tlyt `lyhm ayath zadthm aymana w`li rbhm ytwklwn
 
3.  *     Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance:     those who are constant in prayer and spend on others out of what We provide for them as sustenance :4     Those who keep up the prayers and from what We provided for them they spend.     alXyn yqymwn alSla+ wmma rzqnahm ynfqwn
 
4.  *     Such in truth are the believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance:     it is they, they who are truly believers! Theirs shall be great dignity in their Sustainer's sight, and forgiveness of sins, and a most excellent sustenance.'     Those, those are the believers truthfully, for them stages/degrees at their Lord and forgiveness and generous provision.     awlYk hm almWmnwn Hqa lhm drjat `nd rbhm wmGfr+ wrzq krym
 
5.  *     Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it,     EVEN AS thy Sustainer brought thee forth from thy home [to fight] in the cause of the truth, although some of the believers were averse to it,     As/like your Lord brought you out from your house/home with the right, and that a group/party from the believers (are) hating (E).     kma aKrjk rbk mn bytk balHq wan fryqa mn almWmnyn lkarhwn
 
6.  *     Disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it.     [so, too,] they would argue with thee about the truth [itself] after it had become manifesto - just as if they were being driven towards death and beheld it with their very eyes.     They argue/dispute with you in the right/truth after what was clarified/shown, as if/though they are being driven (herded/pushed) to the death/lifelessness and they are looking/watching.     yjadlwnk fy alHq b`d matbyn kanma ysaqwn ali almwt whm ynZrwn
 
7.  *     Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-     And, lo, God gave you the promise that one of the two [enemy] hosts would fall to you: and you would have liked to seize the less powerful one,' whereas it was God's will to prove the truth to be true in accordance with His words, and to wipe out the last remnant of those who denied the truth'-     And if/when God promises you one/any (of) the two groups that it (E) (is) for you, and you wish/love that other than that what is the power and might/weapon's sharpness be for you, and God wants/wills that (He) makes correct the truth with His words/expressions and cuts off/severs the disbelievers' root/remainder.     waX y`dkm allh aHdi alTaYftyn anha lkm wtwdwn an Gyr Xat al$wk+ tkwn lkm wyryd allh an yHq alHq bklmath wyqT` dabr alkafryn
 
8.  *     That He might justify Truth and prove Falsehood false, distasteful though it be to those in guilt.     so that He might prove the truth to be true and the false to be false, however hateful this might be to those who were lost in sin.9     To make correct the truth and waste/annul/cancel the falsehood, and even if the criminals/sinners hated (it).     lyHq alHq wybTl albaTl wlw krh almjrmwn
 
9.  *     Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."     Lo! You were praying unto your Sustainer for aid, whereupon He thus responded to you: "I shall, verily, aid you with a thousand angels following one upon' another!"     If/when you seek/ask for help (from) your Lord, so He answered/replied to you: "That I (am) extending/spreading you with one thousand from the angels following/riding closely behind."     aX tstGyxwn rbkm fastjab lkm any mmdkm balf mn almlaYk+ mrdfyn
 
10.  *     Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.     And God ordained this only as a glad tiding, and that your hearts should thereby be set at restsince no succour can come from any save God: verily, God is almighty, wise!'°     And God did not make him/it except a good news and to assure/tranquillise/secure with him/it your hearts/minds, and the victory/aid is not except from at God, that God (is) glorious/mighty,wise/judicious.     wmaj`lh allh ala b$ri wltTmYn bh qlwbkm wmaalnSr ala mn `nd allh an allh `zyz Hkym
 
11.  *     Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.     [Remember how it was] when He caused inner calm to enfold you," as an assurance from Him, and sent down upon you water from the skies, so that He might purify you thereby and free you from Satan's unclean whisperings" and strengthen your hearts and thus make firm your steps.     If/when the slumber/dozing/lethargy covers/comes upon you safety/security from Him, and He descends water on you from the sky to purify/clean you with it and eliminate/wipe off the devil's filth, and to bond/encourage on your hearts/minds and affirm/strengthen with it the feet.     aX yG$ykm aln`as amn+ mnh wynzl `lykm mn alsma' ma' lyThrkm bh wyXhb `nkm rjz al$yTan wlyrbT `li qlwbkm wyxbt bh alaqdam
 
12.  *     Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."     Lo! Thy Sustainer inspired the angels [to convey this His message to the believers]: "I am with you !"3  [And He commanded the angels:]  "And , give firmness unto those who have attained to faith [with these words from Me]:" `I shall cast terror into the hearts of those who are bent on denying the truth; strike, then, their necks, [O believers,] and strike off every one of their finger-tips!"s     When your Lord inspires/transmits to the angels, "That I (am) with you, so encourage/affirm those who believed, I will throw in those who disbelievers' hearts/minds the terror/fright, so strike/beat above the necks, and strike/beat from them every/each fingertip/finger.     aX ywHy rbk ali almlaYk+ any m`km fxbtwa alXyn amnwa salqy fy qlwb alXyn kfrwa alr`b faDrbwa fwq ala`naq waDrbwa mnhm kl bnan
 
13.  *     This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger. If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment.     This, because they have cut themselves off from '6 God and His Apostle: and as for him who cuts himself off from God and His Apostle - verily, God is severe in retribution.     That (is) because they (E) defied/disobeyed God and His messenger, and who defies/disobeys God and His messenger, so then God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment.     Xlk banhm $aqwa allh wrswlh wmn y$aqq allh wrswlh fan allh $dyd al`qab
 
14.  *     Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."     This [for you, O enemies of God]! Taste it, then, [and know] that suffering through fire awaits those who deny the truth!     That is, so taste/experience it, and that to the disbelievers (is) the fire's torture.     Xlkm fXwqwh wan llkafryn `Xab alnar
 
15.  *     O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.     O YOU who have attained to faith! When you meet in battle those who are bent on denying the truth, advancing in great force, do not turn your backs on them:"     You, you those who believed, if you met/found those who disbelieved marching slowly/creeping, so do not turn away your back/ends from them.     yaayha alXyn amnwa aXa lqytm alXyn kfrwa zHfa fla twlwhm aladbar
 
16.  *     If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)!     for, whoever on that day turns his back on them-unless it be in a battle manoeuvre or in an endeavour to join another troop [of the believers] - shall indeed have earned the burden of God's condemnation, and his goal shall be hell: and how vile a journey's end!     And who turns his back/end away (from) them that day except swerving/inclining to fighting/killing or leaning/enjoining to a group, so he had returned/settled with anger from God, and his shelter/refuge (is) Hell, and how bad (is) the end/destination?     wmn ywlhm ywmYX dbrh ala mtHrfa lqtal aw mtHyza ali fY+ fqd ba' bGDb mn allh wmawah jhnm wbYs almSyr
 
17.  *     It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah. when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah.s: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).     And yet, [O believers,] it was not you who slew the enemy,'$ but it was God who slew them; and it was not thou who cast [terror into them, O Prophet], when thou didst cast it, but it was God who cast it:'9 and [He did all this] in order that He might test the believers by a goodly test of His Own ordaining.2° Verily, God is all-hearing, all-knowing!     So you did not kill them, and but God killed them, and you did not throw when you threw, and but God threw, and (it is for) God to test the believers from Him a good test, that God (is) hearing/listening, knowledgeable.     flm tqtlwhm wlkn allh qtlhm wmarmyt aX rmyt wlkn allh rmi wlybly almWmnyn mnh bla' Hsna an allh smy` `lym
 
18.  *     That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.     This [was God's purpose] -and also [to show] that God renders vain the artful schemes of those who deny the truth.     That is, and that God (is) weakening/enfeebling the disbelievers' plot/conspiracy.     Xlkm wan allh mwhn kyd alkafryn
 
19.  *     (O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe!     If you have been praying for victory, [O believers] - victory has now indeed come unto you. And if you abstain [from sinning], it will be for your own good; but if you revert to it, We shall revoke [Our promise of aid] - and never will your community be of any avail to you, however great its numbers: for, behold, God is [only] with those who believe !Z'     If you seek victory, so the opening/victory had come to you, and if you end/terminate/stop, so it is best for you, and if you return, We return, and your group will never enrich/satisfy at you a thing, and even if (it) became much/plenty, and that God (is) with the believers.     an tstftHwa fqd ja'km alftH wan tnthwa fhw Kyr lkm wan t`wdwa n`d wln tGny `nkm fYtkm $yYa wlw kxrt wan allh m` almWmnyn
 
20.  *     O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).     [Hence,] O you who have attained to faith, pay heed unto God and His Apostle, and do not turn away from Him now that you hear [His message];     You, you those who believed, obey God and His messenger and do not turn from Him and you are hearing/listening.     yaayha alXyn amnwa aTy`wa allh wrswlh wlatwlwa `nh wantm tsm`wn
 
21.  *     Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not:     and be not like those who say, "We have heard", the while they do not hearken.22     And do not be as/like those who said: "We heard/listened." And they do not hear/listen.     wlatkwnwa kalXyn qalwa sm`na whm laysm`wn
 
22.  *     For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not.     Verily, the vilest of all creatures in the sight of God are those deaf, those dumb ones who do not use their reason.     That the worst walker/creeper at God (is) the deaf, the mute those who do not reason/understand.     an $r aldwab `nd allh alSm albkm alXyn lay`qlwn
 
23.  *     If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).     For, if God had seen any good in them, He would certainly have made them hear: but [as it is,] even if He had made them hear, they would surely have turned away in their obstinacy.     And if God knew (that) in them (there is) goodness He would have made them hear/listen, and if He made them hear/listen, they would have turned away, and (while) they are objecting/opposing.     wlw `lm allh fyhm Kyra lasm`hm wlw asm`hm ltwlwa whm m`rDwn
 
24.  *     O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.     O you who have attained to faith! Respond to the call of God and the Apostle whenever he calls you unto that which will give you life; and know that God intervenes between man and [the desires of] his heart,'° and that unto Him you shall be gathered.     You, you those who believed, answer/reply to God and to the messenger, if He called you to what revives/makes you alive, and know that God comes between/intervenes between the human/man and his heart/mind and that He, to Him you are being gathered.     yaayha alXyn amnwa astjybwa llh wllrswl aXa d`akm lma yHyykm wa`lmwa an allh yHwl byn almr' wqlbh wanh alyh tH$rwn
 
25.  *     And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment.     And beware of that temptation to evil which does not befall only those among you who are bent on denying the truth, to the exclusion of others;' and know that God is severe in retribution.     And fear (and avoid a) test/torture (that) strikes/hits (E) especially/specifically those who caused injustice/oppression from you, and know that God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment.     watqwa ftn+ latSybn alXyn Zlmwa mnkm KaS+ wa`lmwa an allh $dyd al`qab
 
26.  *     Call to mind when ye were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; But He provided a safe asylum for you, strengthened you with His aid, and gave you Good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful.     And remember the time when you were few [and] helpless on earth, fearful lest people do away with you"6 - whereupon He sheltered you, and strengthened you with His succour, and provided for you sustenance out of the good things of life, so that you might have cause to be grateful.     And remember when you were little/few weakened in the earth/Planet Earth, you fear that the people snatch (kidnap) you, so He sheltered you and He supported you with His victory/aid, and He provided for you, from the goodnesses, maybe/perhaps you thank/be grateful.     waXkrwa aX antm qlyl mstD`fwn fy alarD tKafwn an ytKTfkm alnas fawakm waydkm bnSrh wrzqkm mn alTybat l`lkm t$krwn
 
27.  *     O ye that believe! betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you.     [Hence,] O you who have attained to faith, do not be false to God and the Apostle, and do not knowingly be false to the trust that has been reposed in you;     You, you those who believed do not betray/become unfaithful (to) God and the messenger, and you betray/become unfaithful (to) your deposits/securities and you know.     yaayha alXyn amnwa latKwnwa allh walrswl wtKwnwa amanatkm wantm t`lmwn
 
28.  *     And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward.     and know that your worldly goods and your children are but a trial and a temptation, and that with God there is a tremendous reward.'     And know that your properties/possessions/wealths and your children (are a) test, and that God at Him (is) a great reward/wage.     wa`lmwa anma amwalkm wawladkm ftn+ wan allh `ndh ajr `Zym
 
29.  *     O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.     O you who have attained to faith! If you remain conscious of God. He will endow you with a standard by which to discern the true from the false,-9 and will efface your bad deeds, and will forgive you your sins: for God is limitless in His great bounty.     You, you those who believed if you fear and obey God, He makes/creates for you a Separation of Right and Wrong, and He covers/substitutes from you your sins/crimes, and forgives for you, and God (is owner) of the grace/favour/blessing, the great.     yaayha alXyn amnwa an ttqwa allh yj`l lkm frqana wykfr `nkm syYatkm wyGfr lkm wallh Xw alfDl al`Zym
 
30.  *     Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah.     AND [remember, O Prophet,] how those who were bent on denying the truth were scheming against thee, in order to restrain thee [from preaching], or to slay thee, or to drive thee away: thus have they [always] schemed:'° but God brought their scheming to nought-for God is above all schemers.     And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to affix/affirm you, or kill you, or bring you out, and they scheme/deceive, and God deceives/schemes and God (is) best (of) the deceivers/schemers.     waX ymkr bk alXyn kfrwa lyxbtwk aw yqtlwk aw yKrjwk wymkrwn wymkr allh wallh Kyr almakryn
 
31.  *     When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."     And whenever Our messages were conveyed to them, they would say, "We have heard [all this] before; if we wanted, we could certainly compose sayings like these [ourselves]: they are nothing but fables of ancient times!"     And when Our evidences/verses are read/recited on them, they said: "We had heard/listened, and if we116want/will we would have said similar/equal (to) that, that that (is) except the firsts'/beginners' myths/baseless stories."     waXa ttli `lyhm ayatna qalwa qd sm`na lw n$a' lqlna mxl hXa an hXa ala asaTyr alawlyn
 
32.  *     Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."     And, lo, they would say, "O God! If this. be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down upon us stones from the skies, or inflict [some other] grievous suffering on us!"2     And when they said: "Oh God if that was it, the truth from at you, so rain on us stones from the sky/space or come/bring to us with a painful torture."     waX qalwa allhm an kan hXa hw alHq mn `ndk famTr `lyna Hjar+ mn alsma' awaYtna b`Xab alym
 
33.  *     But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon.     But God did not choose thus to chastise them whip thou [O Prophet] wert still among them," nor would God chastise them when they [might yet] ask for forgiveness.     And God was not to torture them and (while) you are in (between) them, and God was not torturing them and (while) they are asking for forgiveness.     wmakan allh ly`Xbhm want fyhm wmakan allh m`Xbhm whm ystGfrwn
 
34.  *     But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand.     But what have they [now] in their favour that God should not chastise themseeing that they bar [the believers] from the Inviolable House of Worship, although they are not its [rightful] guardians?"  None but the God-conscious can be its guardians: but of this most of these [evildoers] are unaware;     And why (is it) for them that God not torture them and they are objecting/preventing/obstructing from the Mosque the Forbidden/Sacred, and they were not its patrons/supporters, that its patrons/supporters, (are not) except the fearing and obeying, and but most of them do not know.     wmalhm alay`Xbhm allh whm ySdwn `n almsjd alHram wmakanwa awlya'h an awlyaWh ala almtqwn wlkn akxrhm lay`lmwn
 
35.  *     Their prayer at the House (of Allah. is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."     and their prayers before the Temple are nothing but whistling and clapping of hands.  Taste then, [O unbelievers,] this chastisement as an outcome of your persistent denial of the truth!'     And their prayers at the House/Home was not except whistling by mouth and echoing/prolonging/clapping,so taste/experience the torture with what you were disbelieving.     wmakan Slathm `nd albyt ala mka' wtSdy+ fXwqwa al`Xab bma kntm tkfrwn
 
36.  *     The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;-     Behold, those who are bent on denying the truth are spending their riches in order to turn others away from the path of God; and they will go on spending them until they become [a source of] intense regret for them; and then they will be overcome! And those who [until their death] have denied the truth shall be gathered unto hell,     That those who disbelieved spend their properties/possessions/wealths to object/prevent/obstruct from Gods' way/path/sake, so they will spend it, then (it will) be on them grief/weakness, then they (will) be defeated/conquered, and those who disbelieved, to Hell they (will) be gathered.     an alXyn kfrwa ynfqwn amwalhm lySdwa `n sbyl allh fsynfqwnha xm tkwn `lyhm Hsr+ xm yGlbwn walXyn kfrwa ali jhnm yH$rwn
 
37.  *     In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost.     so that God might separate the bad from the good, and join the bad with one another, and link them all together [within His condemnation], and then place them in hell. They, they are the lost!     (It is to) God to distinguish/separate the bad/wicked from the good/pure and make/put the bad/wicked some over some so He piles/ accumulates it all together, so He puts it in Hell, those are, they are the losers/misguided and perished.     lymyz allh alKbyx mn alTyb wyj`l alKbyx b`Dh `li b`D fyrkmh jmy`a fyj`lh fy jhnm awlYk hm alKasrwn
 
38.  *     Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).     Tell those who are bent on denying the truth that if they desist," all that is past shall be forgiven them; but if they revert [to their wrongdoing], let them remember what happened to the like of them in times gone by."     Say to those who disbelieved: "If they terminate/stop, (it) will be forgiven for them what had preceded/passed, and if they return, so the first's/beginners'' law/manner had passed/expired."     ql llXyn kfrwa an ynthwa yGfr lhm maqd slf wan y`wdwa fqd mDt sn+ alawlyn
 
39.  *     And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.     And fight against them until there is no more oppression and all worship is devoted to God alone."  And if they desist-behold, God sees all that they do;°°     And fight/kill them until (there) be no misguidance/betrayal, and the religion, all of it be to God, so if they ended/stopped, so that God (is) seeing/knowing with what they make/do.     wqatlwhm Hti latkwn ftn+ wykwn aldyn klh llh fan anthwa fan allh bma y`mlwn bSyr
 
40.  *     If they refuse, be sure that Allah is your Protector - the best to protect and the best to help.     and if they turn away [from righteousness],     And if they turned away, so know that God (is) your owner/master/ally, (He is) best blessed and praised, the king/master, and (He is) best blessed and praised, the victorior/savior.     wan twlwa fa`lmwa an allh mwlakm n`m almwli wn`m alnSyr
 
41.  *     And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things.     know that God is your Lord Supreme: [and] how excellent is this Lord Supreme, and how excellent this Giver of Succour!  AND KNOW that whatever booty you acquire [in war], one-fifth thereof belongs to God and the Apostle, and the near of kin, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer."  [This you must observe] if you believe in God and in what We bestowed from on high upon Our servant on the day when the true was distinguished from the false - the day when the two hosts met in battle. And God has the power to will anything.42     And know that what you won/obtained by spoils of war from a thing, that to God its fifth and to the messenger and (those) of (E) the relations/near, and the orphans, and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed, and the traveler/stranded traveler, if you had believed by God and what We descended on Our worshipper/slave, (on) the Separation of Right and Wrong Day/Proof Day (the) day the two groups/gatherings met, and God (is) on every thing capable/able.     wa`lmwa anma Gntm mn $Y fan llh Kmsh wllrswl wlXy alqrbi walytami walmsakyn wabn alsbyl an kntm amntm ballh wmaanzlna `li `bdna ywm alfrqan ywm altqi aljm`an wallh `li kl $Y qdyr
 
42.  *     Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).     [Remember that day] when you were at the near end of the valley [of Badr], and they were at its farthest end, while the caravan was below you." And if you had known that a battle was to take place, you would indeed have refused to accept the challenge:" but [the battle was brought about none the less,] so that God might accomplish a thing [which He willed] to be done,4s [and] that he who would perish might perish in clear evidence of the truth, and that he who would remain alive might live in clear evidence of the truth.° And, behold, God is indeed all-hearing, allknowing.     When you were by the elevated place/edge of the valley the near, and they are by the edge of the valley the farthest, and the riders/caravan/convoy (is) lower from (than) you, and if you made appointments with each other you would have differed/disagreed in the appointment and but (for) God to execute/order an order/command, (it) was made/done, to perish/destroy who perished/died on/of an evidence, and lives who lived on/of an evidence, and that God (is) hearing/listening (E), knowledgeable.     aX antm bal`dw+ aldnya whm bal`dw+ alqSwi walrkb asfl mnkm wlw twa`dtm laKtlftm fy almy`ad wlkn lyqDy allh amra kan mf`wla lyhlk mn hlk `n byn+ wyHyi mn Hy `n byn+ wan allh lsmy` `lym
 
43.  *     Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.     Lo! God showed them to thee in a dream as few: for, had He shown them to you as many, you would surely have lost heart, and would surely have disagreed with one another about what to do.°s But God saved [you from this]: verily, He has full knowledge of what is the hearts [of men].     When God shows them to you in your sleep/dream (as) a few/little, and if He showed them to you (as) many/much you would have weakened and become cowardly/failing and you would have disputed/argued in the matter/affair, and but God delivered/secured (saved), that He (is) knowledgeable with of the chests117(innermosts).     aX yrykhm allh fy mnamk qlyla wlw arakhm kxyra lf$ltm wltnaz`tm fy alamr wlkn allh slm anh `lym bXat alSdwr
 
44.  *     And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).     And so, when you met in battle, He made them appear as few in your eyes -just as He made you appear as of little account in their eyes - so that God might accomplish a thing [whhich He willed] to be done:49 for all things go back to God [as their source].     When He shows them to you when you met/found (them) in your eyes/sights (as) few/little, and He lessens/reduces you (P) in their eyes/sights, (it is for) God to execute/order an order/command (that) was made/done, and to God the matters/affairs are returned.     waX yrykmwhm aXa altqytm fy a`ynkm qlyla wyqllkm fy a`ynhm lyqDy allh amra kan mf`wla wali allh trj` alamwr
 
45.  *     O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper:     [Hence,] O you who have attained to faith, when you meet a host in battle, be firm, and remember God often; so that you might attain to a happy state!     You, you those who believed, if you met/found a group so be courageous/steadfast and remember/mention/glorify God much, maybe/perhaps you succeed/win.     yaayha alXyn amnwa aXa lqytm fY+ faxbtwa waXkrwa allh kxyra l`lkm tflHwn
 
46.  *     And obey Allah and His Messenger. and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere:     And pay heed unto God and His Apostle, and do not [allow yourselves to] be at variance with one another, lest you lose heart and your moral strength. And be patient in adversity: for, verily, God is with those who are patient in adversity.     And obey God and His messenger, and do not dispute/quarrel so you fail/become weakened and your wind/breeze (energy & strength) goes/goes away, and be patient, that God (is) with the patient.     waTy`wa allh wrswlh wlatnaz`wa ftf$lwa wtXhb ryHkm waSbrwa an allh m` alSabryn
 
47.  *     And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah. For Allah compasseth round about all that they do.     And be not like those [unbelievers] who went forth from their homelands full of self-conceit and a desire to be seen and praised by mew" for they were trying to turn others away from the path of God -the while God encompassed all their doings [with His might].     And do not be as/like those who got out/emerged from their homes/houses ungratefully/arrogantly and showing off/pretending to the people, and they object/obstruct from God's way/path, and God (is) with what they make/do surrounding/comprehending.     wlatkwnwa kalXyn Krjwa mn dyarhm bTra wrYa' alnas wySdwn `n sbyl allh wallh bma y`mlwn mHyT
 
48.  *     Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah. for Allah is strict in punishment."     And, lo, Satan made all their doings seem goodly to them, and said, "No one can overcome you this day, for, behold, I shall be your protector !,.SZbut as soon as the two hosts came within sight of one another, he turned on his heels and said, "Behold, I am not responsible for you: behold, I see something that you do not see: behold, I fear God-for God is severe in retribution !,,53     And when the devil decorated/beautified for them their works/deeds, and he said: "No defeater/conqueror from the people for you today and that I am a savior/rescuer for you." So when the two groups saw each other, he returned/withdrew on his two heels, and he said: "That I am innocent/renouncing/separating from you, that I, I see/understand what you do not see/understand, that I, I fear God, and God (is) strong (severe) in the punishment."     waX zyn lhm al$yTan a`malhm wqal laGalb lkm alywm mn alnas wany jar lkm flma tra't alfYtan nkS `li `qbyh wqal any brY mnkm any ari malatrwn any aKaf allh wallh $dyd al`qab
 
49.  *     Lo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people,- their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah, behold! Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.     At the same time, the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease were saying, "Their faith has deluded these [believers] !,,54  But he who places his trust in God [knows that], verily, God is almighty, wise.     When/if the hypocrites and those who in their hearts/minds (there) is sickness/disease say: "Those, their religion has deceived/tempted (them)." And who relies/depends on God, so then God (is) glorious/mighty, wise/judicious.     aX yqwl almnafqwn walXyn fy qlwbhm mrD Gr hWla' dynhm wmn ytwkl `liallh fan allh `zyz Hkym
 
50.  *     If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire-     AND IF thou couldst but see [how it will be] when He causes those who are bent on denying the truth to die: the angels will strike their faces: and their backs,"  glory.  AL-ANFAL  SURAH  and [will say]: "Taste suffering through fire     And if you see/understand when the angels make those who disbelieved die, they strike/beat their faces/fronts and their backs/ends, and (they say): "Taste/experience the burning torture."     wlw tri aX ytwfi alXyn kfrwa almlaYk+ yDrbwn wjwhhm wadbarhm wXwqwa `Xab alHryq
 
51.  *     "Because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth; for Allah is never unjust to His servants:     in return for what your own hands have wrought - for, never does God do the least wrong to His creatures!"     That (is) with what your hands advanced/undertook, and that God (is) not with an unjust/oppressor to the worshippers/slaves.     Xlk bma qdmt aydykm wan allh lys bZlam ll`byd
 
52.  *     "(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment:     [To them shall happen.] the like of what happened to Pharaoh's people and those who lived before them: they denied the truth of God's messagesand so God took them to task for their sins. Verily, God is powerful, severe in retribution!     As pharaoh's family's affairs/habits and those from before them, they disbelieved with Gods' verses/evidences, so God took/punished them because of their crimes, that God (is) strong/powerful strong (severe in) the punishment.     kdab al fr`wn walXyn mn qblhm kfrwa bayat allh faKXhm allh bXnwbhm an allh qwy $dyd al`qab
 
53.  *     "Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)."     This, because God would never change 16 the blessings with which He has graced a people unless they change their inner selves :5' and [know] that God is all-hearing, all-seeing.     That (is) with that God is/was not changing a blessing/goodness He blessed/comforted and eased it on a nation, until they change what (is) with themselves, and that God (is) hearing/listening, knowledgeable.     Xlk ban allh lm yk mGyra n`m+ an`mha `li qwm Hti yGyrwa mabanfshm wan allh smy` `lym
 
54.  *     (Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them": They treated as false the Signs of their Lord: so We destroyed them for their crimes, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh: for they were all oppressors and wrong- doers.     [To those sinners shall happen] the like of what happened to Pharaoh's people and those who lived before them: they gave the lie to their Sustainer's messages - and so We destroyed them in return for their sins, and caused Pharaoh's people to drown: for they were evildoers all.     As Pharaoh's family's affairs/habits and those from before them, they denied/falsified with God's verses/evidences, so We made them die/destroyed them because of their crimes, and We drowned/sunk Pharaoh's family, and all/each were unjust/oppressors.     kdab al fr`wn walXyn mn qblhm kXbwa bayat rbhm fahlknahm bXnwbhm waGrqna al fr`wn wkl kanwa Zalmyn
 
55.  *     For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are those who reject Him: They will not believe.     Verily, the vilest creatures in the sight of God are those who are bent on denying the truth and therefore do not believe.`'     That the worst walkers/creepers at God (are) those who disbelieved, so they do not believe.     an $r aldwab `nd allh alXyn kfrwa fhm layWmnwn
 
56.  *     They are those with whom thou didst make a covenant, but they break their covenant every time, and they have not the fear (of Allah..     AS FOR THOSE with whom thou hast made a covenant, and who thereupon break their covenant on every occasion,s9 not being conscious of God-     Those (are) from them (who) you made a contract/entrusted, then they break/destroy their promise/contract in every time, and they do no fear and obey.     alXyn `ahdt mnhm xm ynqDwn `hdhm fy kl mr+ whm laytqwn
 
57.  *     If ye gain the mastery over them in war, disperse, with them, those who follow them, that they may remember.     if thou find them at war [with you], make of them a fearsome example for those who follow them,° so that they might take it to heart;     So when you defeat/overtake them in the battle/war so expel/separate with them from behind them, maybe/perhaps they mention/remember.118     fama txqfnhm fy alHrb f$rd bhm mn Klfhm l`lhm yXkrwn
 
58.  *     If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous.     or, if thou hast reason to fear treachery6' from people [with whom thou hast made a covenant], cast it back at them in an equitable manner:62 for, verily, God does not love the treacherous!     And if you fear from a nation betrayal/unfaithfulness, so discard/reject to them on straightness, that God does not love/like the betrayers/unfaithfuls.     wama tKafn mn qwm Kyan+ fanbX alyhm `li swa' an allh layHb alKaYnyn
 
59.  *     Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them).     And let them not think - those who are bent on denying the truth -that they shall escapee' [God]: behold, they can never frustrate [His purpose].     And those who disbelieved do not think/suppose (that) they raced/went ahead/won, that they truly do not disable/frustrate.     wlayHsbn alXyn kfrwa sbqwa anhm lay`jzwn
 
60.  *     Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.     Hence, make ready against them whatever force and war mounts" you are able to muster, so that you might deter thereby the enemies of God, who are your enemies as well,6s and others besides them of whom you may be unaware, [but] of whom God is aware; and whatever you may expend66 in God's cause shall be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.     And prepare for them what you were able from strength/power and from the horses'/horsemens' ties/strings/strength, you terrorize/terrify with it God's enemy, and your enemy, and others from other than them, you do not know them, God knows them, and what you spend from a thing in God's sake/way is fulfilled/completed to you, and you are not being caused injustice to/oppressed.     wa`dwa lhm maastT`tm mn qw+ wmn rbaT alKyl trhbwn bh `dw allh w`dwkm waKryn mn dwnhm lat`lmwnhm allh y`lmhm wmatnfqwa mn $Y fy sbyl allh ywf alykm wantm latZlmwn
 
61.  *     But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah. for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).     But if they incline to peace, incline thou to it as well, and place thy trust in God: verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing!     And if they sided/inclined towards to the peace/surrender, so side/incline towards to it, and rely/depend on God, that He truly is, He is the hearing/listening, the knowledgeable.     wan jnHwa llslm fajnH lha wtwkl `li allh anh hw alsmy` al`lym
 
62.  *     Should they intend to deceive thee,- verily Allah sufficeth thee: He it is That hath strengthened thee with His aid and with (the company of) the Believers;     And should they seek but to deceive thee [by their show of peace] - behold, God is enough for thee!6'  He it is who has strengthened thee with His suc  and, secondly, that the Muslims may resort to war only if and when the other party is openly hostile to them.  AL-ANFAL  SURAH  cour, and by giving thee believing followers     And if they want that they deceive you, so that God (is) enough for you, He is who supported you with His victory/aid and with the believers.     wan yrydwa an yKd`wk fan Hsbk allh hw alXy aydk bnSrh wbalmWmnyn
 
63.  *     And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise.     whose hearts He has brought together: [for,] if thou hadst expended all that is on earth, thou couldst not have brought their hearts together [by thyself]: but God did bring them together. Verily, He is almighty, wise.     And He united/joined between their hearts/minds, if you spent what (is) in the earth/Planet Earth all/all together, you would not (have) united/joined between their hearts/minds, and but God united/joined between them, that He truly is glorious/mighty, wise/judicious.     walf byn qlwbhm lw anfqt mafy alarD jmy`a maalft byn qlwbhm wlkn allh alf bynhm anh `zyz Hkym
 
64.  *     O Messenger. sufficient unto thee is Allah,- (unto thee) and unto those who follow thee among the Believers.     O Prophet! God is enough for thee and those of the believers who follow thee!     You, you the prophet, God is enough for you and who followed you from the believers.     yaayha alnby Hsbk allh wmn atb`k mn almWmnyn
 
65.  *     O Messenger. rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.     O Prophet! Inspire the believers to conquer all fear of death when fighting,b9 [so that,] if there be twenty of you who are patient in adversity, they might overcome two hundred; and [that,] if there be one hundred of you, they might overcome one thousand of those who are bent on denying the truth, because they are people who cannot grasp it."     You, you the prophet, instigate/urge/encourage the believers on (to) the fighting/killing. If (there) be twenty patient from you, they will defeat/conquer two hundred, and if (there) be one hundred from you, they defeat/conquer a thousand, from those who disbelieved, because they (E) (are) a nation (that) do not understand/know.     yaayha alnby HrD almWmnyn `li alqtal an ykn mnkm `$rwn Sabrwn yGlbwa mYtyn wan ykn mnkm mY+ yGlbwa alfa mn alXyn kfrwa banhm qwm layfqhwn
 
66.  *     For the present, Allah hath lightened your (task), for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But (even so), if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah. for Allah is with those who patiently persevere.     For the time being, [however,] God has lightened your burden. for He knows that you are weak: and so, if there be one hundred of you who are patient in adversity, they should [be able to]' overcome two hundred; and if there be one thousand of you, they should [be able to] overcome two thousand by God's leave: for God is with those who are patient in adversity.'     Now God reduced/lightened from you, and He knew that in you (is) weakness, so if (there) be from you one hundred patient, they defeat/conquer two hundred, and if (there) be from you a thousand, they defeat/conquer two thousand with God's permission/pardon, and God (is) with the patient.     alan Kff allh `nkm w`lm an fykm D`fa fan ykn mnkm mY+ Sabr+ yGlbwa mYtyn wan ykn mnkm alf yGlbwa alfyn baXn allh wallh m` alSabryn
 
67.  *     It is not fitting for an apostle that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.     IT DOES NOT behove a prophet to keep captives unless he has battled strenuously on earth. You may desire the fleeting gains of this world-but God desires [for you the good of] the life to come: and God is almighty, wise.     (It) was not to a prophet that (there) be for him captives/prisoners so that he hardens/exceeds in killing (tyrannizes) in the earth/Planet Earth, you want the present world's enjoyable accessories/vanities, and God wants the end (other life), and God (is) glorious/mighty, wise/judicious.     ma kan lnby an ykwn lh asri Hti yxKn fy alarD trydwn `rD aldnya wallh yryd alaKr+ wallh `zyz Hkym
 
68.  *     Had it not been for a previous ordainment from Allah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that ye took.     Had it not been for a decree from God that had already gone forth, there would indeed have befallen you a tremendous chastisement on account of all [the captives] that you took."     Where it not for a Book/decree/term preceded from God, a great torture would have touched you in what you took/received.     lwla ktab mn allh sbq lmskm fyma aKXtm `Xab `Zym
 
69.  *     But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah. for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.     Enjoy, then, all that is lawful and good among the things which you have gained in war, and remain conscious of God: verily, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.     So eat from what you won/gained by spoils of war (it is) permitted/allowed enjoyable/allowed/permitted, and fear and obey God, that God (is) forgiving merciful.     fklwa mma Gnmtm Hlala Tyba watqwa allh an allh Gfwr rHym
 
70.  *     O Messenger. say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."     [Hence,] O Prophet, say unto the captives who are in your hands: "If God finds any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than all that has been taken from you, and will forgive you your sins: for God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace."     You, you the Prophet, say to whom (is) in your hands from the captives/prisoners: "If God knows (there) is in your hearts/minds (from) goodness, He gives/brings to you better than what was taken from you, and He forgives for you, and God (is) forgiving, merciful."     yaayha alnby ql lmn fy aydykm mn alasri an y`lm allh fy qlwbkm Kyra yWtkm Kyra mma aKX mnkm wyGfr lkm wallh Gfwr rHym
 
71.  *     But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Messenger.), they have already been in treason against Allah, and so hath He given (thee) power over them. And Allah so He Who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom.     And should they but seek to play false with thee's-well, they were false to God [Himself] ere this: but He gave [the believers] mastery over them. And God is all-knowing, wise.     And if they want your betrayal/unfaithfulness, so they had betrayed/become unfaithful to God from before, so He gave others high position/strength from them, and God (is) knowledgeable, wise/judicious.     wan yrydwa Kyantk fqd Kanwa allh mn qbl famkn mnhm wallh `lym Hkym
 
72.  *     Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.     BEHOLD, as for those who have attained to faith, and who have forsaken the domain of evilT' and are striving hard, with their possessions and their lives, in God's cause, as well as those who shelter and succour [them]78 - these are [truly] the friends and protectors of one another.  But as for those who have come to believe without having migrated [to your country]" - you are in no wise responsible for their protection until such a time as they migrate [to you]. Yet, if they ask you for succour against religious persecution,' it is your duty to give [them] this succour-except against a people between whom and yourselves there is a covenant:e' for God sees all that you do.     That those who believed and emigrated and struggled/exerted, with their properties/possessions and119themselves in God's sake/way, and those who sheltered/gave refuge and saved/gave victory/aided, those, some of them (are) guardians/patrons/allies (to) some, and those who believed and did not emigrate, their guardianship/patronage is not for (on) you from a thing (your responsibility) until they emigrate, and if they asked you to save/aid them in the religion, so the victory/aid is on you (your duty) except on a nation between you and between them (is) a promise/covenant, and God (is) with what you made/do seeing/knowing.     an alXyn amnwa whajrwa wjahdwa bamwalhm wanfshm fy sbyl allh walXyn awwa wnSrwa awlYk b`Dhm awlya' b`D walXyn amnwa wlm yhajrwa malkm mn wlaythm mn $Y Hti yhajrwa wan astnSrwkm fy aldyn f`lykm alnSr ala `li qwm bynkm wbynhm myxaq wallh bma t`mlwn bSyr
 
73.  *     The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.     With all this, [remember that] those who are bent on denying the truth are allies of one another;  'Jf  course of war. For a further discussion of the problem of prisoners of war, see 47:4.  and unless you act likewise [among yourselves], oppression will reign on earth, and great corruption.     And those who disbelieved some of them (are) guardians/allies (of) some, if you not make/do it, it (will) be misguidance/betrayal in the earth/Planet Earth, and big/great corruption/disorder.     walXyn kfrwa b`Dhm awlya' b`D ala tf`lwh tkn ftn+ fy alarD wfsad kbyr
 
74.  *     Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.     And they who have attained to faith, and who have forsaken the domain of evil and are striving hard in God's cause, as well as those who shelter and succour [them] - it is they, they who are truly believers! Forgiveness of sins awaits them, and a most excellent sustenance.     And those who believed and emigrated and struggled/exerted in God's sake/way, and those who sheltered/gave refuge and saved/gave victory/aided, those, they are the believers truly/certainly, for them (is) a forgiveness and a generous/gracious provision.     walXyn amnwa whajrwa wjahdwa fy sbyl allh walXyn awwa wnSrwa awlYk hm almWmnwn Hqa lhm mGfr+ wrzq krym
 
75.  *     And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well-acquainted with all things.     And as for those who henceforth come to believe," and who forsake the domain of evil and strive hard [in God's cause] together with you - these [too] shall belong to you;" and they who are [thus] closely related have the highest claim on one another in [accordance with] God's decree."  Verily, God has full knowledge of everything.     And those who believed from after and emigrated and struggled/exerted with you, so those (are) from you, and of the relations some of them (are) more worthy/deserving with some in God's Book, that God (is) with every thing knowledgeable. 120     walXyn amnwa mn b`d whajrwa wjahdwa m`km fawlYk mnkm wawlwa alarHam b`Dhm awli bb`D fy ktab allh an allh bkl $Y `lym
