1.  *     By the Glorious Morning Light,     CONSIDER the bright morning hours,     And/by the sunrise/daybreak.     swr+ alDHi  bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? walDHi
 
2.  *     And by the Night when it is still,-     and the night when it grows still and dark.*     And/by the night when/if it quietened/became covered.     wallyl aXa sji
 
3.  *     Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased.     Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee:*     Your Lord did not leave/desert you, and nor hate/hit (you) on the head.     mawd`k rbk wmaqli
 
4.  *     And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.     for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]!     And the end (other life) (E) (is) better for you than the first/beginning.     wllaKr+ Kyr lk mn alawli
 
5.  *     And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.     And, indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires], and thou shalt be well-pleased.     And your Lord will/shall (E) give/grant you, so you accept/approve.     wlswf y`Tyk rbk ftrDi
 
6.  *     Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)?     Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter?*     Did He not find you an orphan, so he sheltered (you)?     alm yjdk ytyma fawi
 
7.  *     And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance.     And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee?     And He found you misguided so He guided (you)?     wwjdk Dala fhdi
 
8.  *     And He found thee in need, and made thee independent.     And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency?     And He found you having dependents/poor, so He enriched/satisfied (you)?     wwjdk `aYla faGni
 
9.  *     Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness,     Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong,     So as for the orphan, so do not humiliate/compel.     fama alytym fla tqhr
 
10.  *     Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard);     and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide,*     And as for the asker/questioner/beggar, so do not yell at/drive away.     wama alsaYl fla tnhr
 
11.  *     But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim!     and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak.*     And as for with your Lord's blessing/goodness, so tell/inform.     wama bn`m+ rbk fHdx
