1.  *     They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger. So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe."     They consult you about the spoils of war. Say, "The spoils of war belong to GOD and the messenger." You shall observe GOD, exhort one another to be righteous, and obey GOD and His messenger, if you are believers. They ask/question you about the spoils/gifts. Say: "The spoils/gifts (are) to God and the messenger, so fear and obey God and correct/repair that what is between you, and obey God and His messenger, if you were believing."         Yas-aloonaka AAani al-anfali quli al-anfalu lillahi waalrrasooli faittaqoo Allaha waaslihoothata baynikum waateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu in kuntum mu\mineena

2.  *     For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord;     The true believers are those whose hearts tremble when GOD is mentioned, and when His revelations are recited to them, their faith is strengthened, and they trust in their Lord. But the believers (are) those who if God was mentioned/remembered/praised their hearts/minds become afraid/apprehensive, and if His verses/evidences were read/recited on them, it increased them faith/belief, and on their Lord they depend/trust in.         Innamaalmu\minoona allatheena ithathukira Allahu wajilat quloobuhum wa-ithatuliyat AAalayhimayatuhu zadat-hum eemanan waAAalarabbihim yatawakkaloona

3.  *     Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance:     They observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity. Those who keep up the prayers and from what We provided for them they spend.         Allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wamimmarazaqnahum yunfiqoona

4.  *     Such in truth are the believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance:     Such are the true believers. They attain high ranks at their Lord, as well as forgiveness and a generous provision. Those, those are the believers truthfully, for them stages/degrees at their Lord and forgiveness and generous provision.         Ola-ika humu almu\minoonahaqqan lahum darajatun AAinda rabbihim wamaghfiratun warizqun kareemun

5.  *     Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it,     Then your Lord willed that you leave your home, to fulfill a specific plan, some believers became exposed as reluctant believers. As/like your Lord brought you out from your house/home with the right, and that a group/party from the believers (are) hating (E).         Kamaakhrajaka rabbuka min baytika bialhaqqi wa-inna fareeqan mina almu\mineena lakarihoona

6.  *     Disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it.     They argued with you against the truth, even after everything was explained to them. They acted as if they were being driven to certain death. They argue/dispute with you in the right/truth after what was clarified/shown, as if/though they are being driven (herded/pushed) to the death/lifelessness and they are looking/watching.         Yujadiloonaka fee alhaqqi baAAda matabayyana kaannamayusaqoona ilaalmawti wahum yanthuroona

7.  *     Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-     Recall that GOD promised you victory over a certain group, but you still wanted to face the weaker group. It was GOD's plan to establish the truth with His words, and to defeat the disbelievers. And if/when God promises you one/any (of) the two groups that it (E) (is) for you, and you wish/love that other than that what is the power and might/weapon's sharpness be for you, and God wants/wills that (He) makes correct the truth with His words/expressions and cuts off/severs the disbelievers' root/remainder.         Wa-ithyaAAidukumu Allahu ihdaaltta-ifatayni annahalakum watawaddoona anna ghayrathati alshshawkati takoonu lakum wayureedu Allahu an yuhiqqa alhaqqa bikalimatihi wayaqtaAAa dabira alkafireena

8.  *     That He might justify Truth and prove Falsehood false, distasteful though it be to those in guilt.     For He has decreed that the truth shall prevail, and the falsehood shall vanish, in spite of the evildoers. To make correct the truth and waste/annul/cancel the falsehood, and even if the criminals/sinners hated (it).         Liyuhiqqa alhaqqa wayubtila albatila walaw kariha almujrimoona

9.  *     Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."     Thus, when you implored your Lord to come to the rescue, He responded to you: "I am supporting you with one thousand angels in succession." If/when you seek/ask for help (from) your Lord, so He answered/replied to you: "That I (am) extending/spreading you with one thousand from the angels following/riding closely behind."         Ithtastagheethoona rabbakum faistajaba lakum annee mumiddukum bi-alfin mina almala-ikati murdifeena

10.  *     Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.     GOD gave you this good news to strengthen your hearts. Victory comes only from GOD. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise. And God did not make him/it except a good news and to assure/tranquillise/secure with him/it your hearts/minds, and the victory/aid is not except from at God, that God (is) glorious/mighty,wise/judicious.         WamajaAAalahu Allahu illabushrawalitatma-inna bihi quloobukum wamaalnnasru illamin AAindi Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezunhakeemun

11.  *     Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.     He caused peaceful slumber to overtake you and pacify you, and He sent down water from the sky to clean you therewith. He protected you from the devil's curse, reassured your hearts and strengthened your foothold. If/when the slumber/dozing/lethargy covers/comes upon you safety/security from Him, and He descends water on you from the sky to purify/clean you with it and eliminate/wipe off the devil's filth, and to bond/encourage on your hearts/minds and affirm/strengthen with it the feet.         Ithyughashsheekumu alnnuAAasa amanatan minhu wayunazzilu AAalaykum mina alssama-i maan liyutahhirakum bihi wayuthhiba AAankum rijza alshshaytani waliyarbita AAalaquloobikum wayuthabbita bihi al-aqdama

12.  *     Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."     Recall that your Lord inspired the angels: "I am with you; so support those who believed. I will throw terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved. You may strike them above the necks, and you may strike even every finger." When your Lord inspires/transmits to the angels, "That I (am) with you, so encourage/affirm those who believed, I will throw in those who disbelievers' hearts/minds the terror/fright, so strike/beat above the necks, and strike/beat from them every/each fingertip/finger.         Ithyoohee rabbuka ilaalmala-ikati annee maAAakum fathabbitoo allatheenaamanoo saolqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba faidriboo fawqa al-aAAnaqi waidriboo minhum kulla bananin

13.  *     This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger. If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment.     This is what they have justly incurred by fighting GOD and His messenger. For those who fight against GOD and His messenger, GOD's retribution is severe. That (is) because they (E) defied/disobeyed God and His messenger, and who defies/disobeys God and His messenger, so then God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment.         Thalika bi-annahum shaqqoo Allaha warasoolahu waman yushaqiqi Allaha warasoolahu fa-inna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi

14.  *     Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."     This is to punish the disbelievers; they have incurred the retribution of Hell. That is, so taste/experience it, and that to the disbelievers (is) the fire's torture.         Thalikum fathooqoohu waanna lilkafireena AAathaba alnnari

15.  *     O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.     O you who believe, if you encounter the disbelievers who have mobilized against you, do not turn back and flee. You, you those who believed, if you met/found those who disbelieved marching slowly/creeping, so do not turn away your back/ends from them.         Yaayyuhaallatheenaamanoo ithalaqeetumu allatheena kafaroo zahfan falatuwalloohumu al-adbara

16.  *     If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)!     Anyone who turns back on that day, except to carry out a battle plan, or to join his group, has incurred wrath from GOD, and his abode is Hell; what a miserable destiny! And who turns his back/end away (from) them that day except swerving/inclining to fighting/killing or leaning/enjoining to a group, so he had returned/settled with anger from God, and his shelter/refuge (is) Hell, and how bad (is) the end/destination?         Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illamutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ilafi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wamawahu jahannamu wabisa almaseeru

17.  *     It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah. when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah.s: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).     It was not you who killed them; GOD is the One who killed them. It was not you who threw when you threw; GOD is the One who threw. But He thus gives the believers a chance to earn a lot of credit. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient. So you did not kill them, and but God killed them, and you did not throw when you threw, and but God threw, and (it is for) God to test the believers from Him a good test, that God (is) hearing/listening, knowledgeable.         Falam taqtuloohum walakinna Allaha qatalahum wamaramayta ithramayta walakinna Allaha ramawaliyubliya almu\mineena minhu balaanhasanan inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun

18.  *     That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.     Additionally, GOD thus nullifies the schemes of the disbelievers. That is, and that God (is) weakening/enfeebling the disbelievers' plot/conspiracy.         Thalikum waanna Allaha moohinu kaydi alkafireena

19.  *     (O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe!     You sought victory (O disbelievers), and victory did come; it belonged to the believers. If you refrain (from aggression) it would be better for you, but if you return, so will we. Your armies will never help you, no matter how great. For GOD is on the side of the believers. If you seek victory, so the opening/victory had come to you, and if you end/terminate/stop, so it is best for you, and if you return, We return, and your group will never enrich/satisfy at you a thing, and even if (it) became much/plenty, and that God (is) with the believers.         In tastaftihoo faqad jaakumu alfathu wa-in tantahoo fahuwa khayrun lakum wa-in taAAoodoo naAAud walan tughniya AAankum fi-atukum shay-an walaw kathurat waanna Allaha maAAa almu\mineena

20.  *     O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).     O you who believe, obey GOD and His messenger, and do not disregard him while you hear. You, you those who believed, obey God and His messenger and do not turn from Him and you are hearing/listening.         Yaayyuhaallatheenaamanoo ateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu walatawallaw AAanhu waantum tasmaAAoona

21.  *     Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not:     Do not be like those who say, "We hear," when they do not hear. And do not be as/like those who said: "We heard/listened." And they do not hear/listen.         Walatakoonoo kaallatheena qaloo samiAAnawahum layasmaAAoona

22.  *     For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not.     The worst creatures in the sight of GOD are the deaf and dumb, who do not understand. That the worst walker/creeper at God (is) the deaf, the mute those who do not reason/understand.         Inna sharra alddawabbi AAinda Allahi alssummu albukmu allatheena layaAAqiloona

23.  *     If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).     Had GOD known of any good in them, He would have made them hearers. Even if He made them hearers, they still would turn away in aversion. And if God knew (that) in them (there is) goodness He would have made them hear/listen, and if He made them hear/listen, they would have turned away, and (while) they are objecting/opposing.         Walaw AAalima Allahu feehim khayran laasmaAAahum walaw asmaAAahum latawallaw wahum muAAridoona

24.  *     O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.     O you who believe, you shall respond to GOD and to the messenger when he invites you to what gives you life. You should know that GOD is closer to you than your heart, and that before Him you will be summoned. You, you those who believed, answer/reply to God and to the messenger, if He called you to what revives/makes you alive, and know that God comes between/intervenes between the human/man and his heart/mind and that He, to Him you are being gathered.         Yaayyuhaallatheenaamanoo istajeeboo lillahi walilrrasooli ithadaAAakum limayuhyeekum waiAAlamoo anna Allaha yahoolu bayna almar-i waqalbihi waannahu ilayhi tuhsharoona

25.  *     And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment.     Beware of a retribution that may not be limited to the evildoers among you. You should know that GOD's retribution is severe. And fear (and avoid a) test/torture (that) strikes/hits (E) especially/specifically those who caused injustice/oppression from you, and know that God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment.         Waittaqoo fitnatan latuseebanna allatheenathalamoo minkum khassatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi

26.  *     Call to mind when ye were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; But He provided a safe asylum for you, strengthened you with His aid, and gave you Good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful.     Remember that you used to be few and oppressed, fearing that the people may snatch you, and He granted you a secure sanctuary, supported you with His victory, and provided you with good provisions, that you may be appreciative. And remember when you were little/few weakened in the earth/Planet Earth, you fear that the people snatch (kidnap) you, so He sheltered you and He supported you with His victory/aid, and He provided for you, from the goodnesses, maybe/perhaps you thank/be grateful.         Waothkuroo ithantum qaleelun mustadAAafoona fee al-ardi takhafoona an yatakhattafakumu alnnasu faawakum waayyadakum binasrihi warazaqakum mina alttayyibati laAAallakum tashkuroona

27.  *     O ye that believe! betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you.     O you who believe, do not betray GOD and the messenger, and do not betray those who trust you, now that you know. You, you those who believed do not betray/become unfaithful (to) God and the messenger, and you betray/become unfaithful (to) your deposits/securities and you know.         Yaayyuhaallatheenaamanoo latakhoonoo Allaha waalrrasoola watakhoonoo amanatikum waantum taAAlamoona

28.  *     And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward.     You should know that your money and your children are a test, and that GOD possesses a great recompense. And know that your properties/possessions/wealths and your children (are a) test, and that God at Him (is) a great reward/wage.         WaiAAlamoo annamaamwalukum waawladukum fitnatun waanna Allaha AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun

29.  *     O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.     O you who believe, if you reverence GOD, He will enlighten you, remit your sins, and forgive you. GOD possesses infinite grace. You, you those who believed if you fear and obey God, He makes/creates for you a Separation of Right and Wrong, and He covers/substitutes from you your sins/crimes, and forgives for you, and God (is owner) of the grace/favour/blessing, the great.         Yaayyuhaallatheenaamanoo in tattaqoo Allaha yajAAal lakum furqanan wayukaffir AAankum sayyi-atikum wayaghfir lakum waAllahuthoo alfadli alAAatheemi

30.  *     Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah.     The disbelievers plot and scheme to neutralize you, or kill you, or banish you. However, they plot and scheme, but so does GOD. GOD is the best schemer. And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to affix/affirm you, or kill you, or bring you out, and they scheme/deceive, and God deceives/schemes and God (is) best (of) the deceivers/schemers.         Wa-ithyamkuru bika allatheena kafaroo liyuthbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijooka wayamkuroona wayamkuru Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena

31.  *     When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."     When our revelations are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. If we wanted to, we could have said the same things. These are no more than tales from the past!" And when Our evidences/verses are read/recited on them, they said: "We had heard/listened, and if we116want/will we would have said similar/equal (to) that, that that (is) except the firsts'/beginners' myths/baseless stories."         Wa-ithatutlaAAalayhimayatunaqaloo qad samiAAnalaw nashao laqulnamithla hathain hathaillaasateeru al-awwaleena

32.  *     Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."     They also said, "Our god, if this is really the truth from You, then shower us with rocks from the sky, or pour upon us a painful punishment." And when they said: "Oh God if that was it, the truth from at you, so rain on us stones from the sky/space or come/bring to us with a painful torture."         Wa-ithqaloo allahumma in kana hathahuwa alhaqqa min AAindika faamtir AAalaynahijaratan mina alssama-i awi i\tinabiAAathabin aleemin

33.  *     But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon.     However, GOD is not to punish them while you are in their midst; GOD is not to punish them while they are seeking forgiveness. And God was not to torture them and (while) you are in (between) them, and God was not torturing them and (while) they are asking for forgiveness.         Wamakana Allahu liyuAAaththibahum waanta feehim wamakana Allahu muAAaththibahum wahum yastaghfiroona

34.  *     But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand.     Have they not deserved GOD's retribution, by repelling others from the Sacred Masjid, even though they are not the custodians thereof? The true custodians thereof are the righteous, but most of them do not know. And why (is it) for them that God not torture them and they are objecting/preventing/obstructing from the Mosque the Forbidden/Sacred, and they were not its patrons/supporters, that its patrons/supporters, (are not) except the fearing and obeying, and but most of them do not know.         Wamalahum allayuAAaththibahumu Allahu wahum yasuddoona AAani almasjidi alharami wamakanoo awliyaahu in awliyaohu illaalmuttaqoona walakinna aktharahum layaAAlamoona

35.  *     Their prayer at the House (of Allah. is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."     Their Contact Prayers (Salat) at the shrine (Ka`bah) were no more than a mockery and a means of repelling the people (by crowding them out). Therefore, suffer the retribution for your disbelief. And their prayers at the House/Home was not except whistling by mouth and echoing/prolonging/clapping,so taste/experience the torture with what you were disbelieving.         Wamakanasalatuhum AAinda albayti illamukaan watasdiyatan fathooqoo alAAathaba bimakuntum takfuroona

36.  *     The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;-     Those who disbelieve spend their money to repel others from the way of GOD. They will spend it, then it will turn into sorrow and remorse for them. Ultimately, they will be defeated, and all disbelievers will be summoned to Hell. That those who disbelieved spend their properties/possessions/wealths to object/prevent/obstruct from Gods' way/path/sake, so they will spend it, then (it will) be on them grief/weakness, then they (will) be defeated/conquered, and those who disbelieved, to Hell they (will) be gathered.         Inna allatheena kafaroo yunfiqoona amwalahum liyasuddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi fasayunfiqoonahathumma takoonu AAalayhimhasratan thumma yughlaboona waallatheena kafaroo ilajahannama yuhsharoona

37.  *     In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost.     GOD will sift away the bad from the good, then pile the bad on top of each other, all in one pile, then throw it in Hell. Such are the losers. (It is to) God to distinguish/separate the bad/wicked from the good/pure and make/put the bad/wicked some over some so He piles/ accumulates it all together, so He puts it in Hell, those are, they are the losers/misguided and perished.         Liyameeza Allahu alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wayajAAala alkhabeetha baAAdahu AAalabaAAdin fayarkumahu jameeAAan fayajAAalahu fee jahannama ola-ika humu alkhasiroona

38.  *     Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).     Tell those who disbelieved: if they stop, all their past will be forgiven. But if they return, they will incur the same fate as their previous counterparts. Say to those who disbelieved: "If they terminate/stop, (it) will be forgiven for them what had preceded/passed, and if they return, so the first's/beginners'' law/manner had passed/expired."         Qul lillatheena kafaroo in yantahoo yughfar lahum maqad salafa wa-in yaAAoodoo faqad madat sunnatu al-awwaleena

39.  *     And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.     You shall fight them to ward off oppression, and to practice your religion devoted to GOD alone. If they refrain from aggression, then GOD is fully Seer of everything they do. And fight/kill them until (there) be no misguidance/betrayal, and the religion, all of it be to God, so if they ended/stopped, so that God (is) seeing/knowing with what they make/do.         Waqatiloohumhattalatakoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahi fa-ini intahaw fa-inna Allaha bimayaAAmaloona baseerun

40.  *     If they refuse, be sure that Allah is your Protector - the best to protect and the best to help.     If they turn away, then you should know that GOD is your Lord and Master; the best Lord and Master, the best supporter. And if they turned away, so know that God (is) your owner/master/ally, (He is) best blessed and praised, the king/master, and (He is) best blessed and praised, the victorior/savior.         Wa-in tawallaw faiAAlamoo anna Allaha mawlakum niAAma almawlawaniAAma alnnaseeru

41.  *     And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things.     You should know that if you gain any spoils in war, one-fifth shall go to GOD and the messenger, to be given to the relatives, the orphans, the poor, and the traveling alien. You will do this if you believe in GOD and in what we revealed to our servant on the day of decision, the day the two armies clashed. GOD is Omnipotent. And know that what you won/obtained by spoils of war from a thing, that to God its fifth and to the messenger and (those) of (E) the relations/near, and the orphans, and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed, and the traveler/stranded traveler, if you had believed by God and what We descended on Our worshipper/slave, (on) the Separation of Right and Wrong Day/Proof Day (the) day the two groups/gatherings met, and God (is) on every thing capable/able.         WaiAAlamoo annamaghanimtum min shay-in faanna lillahi khumusahu walilrrasooli walithee alqurbawaalyatamawaalmasakeeni waibni alssabeeli in kuntumamantum biAllahi wamaanzalnaAAalaAAabdinayawma alfurqani yawma iltaqaaljamAAani waAllahu AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun

42.  *     Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).     Recall that you were on this side of the valley, while they were on the other side. Then their caravan had to move to lower ground. Had you planned it this way, you could not have done it. But GOD was to carry out a predetermined matter, whereby those destined to be annihilated were annihilated for an obvious reason, and those destined to be saved were saved for an obvious reason. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient. When you were by the elevated place/edge of the valley the near, and they are by the edge of the valley the farthest, and the riders/caravan/convoy (is) lower from (than) you, and if you made appointments with each other you would have differed/disagreed in the appointment and but (for) God to execute/order an order/command, (it) was made/done, to perish/destroy who perished/died on/of an evidence, and lives who lived on/of an evidence, and that God (is) hearing/listening (E), knowledgeable.         Ithantum bialAAudwati alddunyawahum bialAAudwati alquswawaalrrakbu asfala minkum walaw tawaAAadtum laikhtalaftum fee almeeAAadi walakin liyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan liyahlika man halaka AAan bayyinatin wayahyamanhayya AAan bayyinatin wa-inna Allaha lasameeAAun AAaleemun

43.  *     Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.     GOD made them appear in your dream (O Muhammad) fewer in number. Had He made them appear more numerous, you would have failed, and you would have disputed among yourselves. But GOD saved the situation. He is Knower of the innermost thoughts. When God shows them to you in your sleep/dream (as) a few/little, and if He showed them to you (as) many/much you would have weakened and become cowardly/failing and you would have disputed/argued in the matter/affair, and but God delivered/secured (saved), that He (is) knowledgeable with of the chests117(innermosts).         Ithyureekahumu Allahu fee manamika qaleelan walaw arakahum katheeran lafashiltum walatanazaAAtum fee al-amri walakinna Allaha sallama innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

44.  *     And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).     And when the time came and you faced them, He made them appear fewer in your eyes, and made you appear fewer in their eyes as well. For GOD willed to carry out a certain plan. All decisions are made by GOD. When He shows them to you when you met/found (them) in your eyes/sights (as) few/little, and He lessens/reduces you (P) in their eyes/sights, (it is for) God to execute/order an order/command (that) was made/done, and to God the matters/affairs are returned.         Wa-ithyureekumoohum ithi iltaqaytum fee aAAyunikum qaleelan wayuqallilukum fee aAAyunihim liyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan wa-ilaAllahi turjaAAu al-omooru

45.  *     O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper:     O you who believe, when you encounter an army, you shall hold fast and commemorate GOD frequently, that you may succeed. You, you those who believed, if you met/found a group so be courageous/steadfast and remember/mention/glorify God much, maybe/perhaps you succeed/win.         Yaayyuhaallatheenaamanoo ithalaqeetum fi-atan faothbutoo waothkuroo Allaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona

46.  *     And obey Allah and His Messenger. and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere:     You shall obey GOD and His messenger, and do not dispute among yourselves, lest you fail and scatter your strength. You shall steadfastly persevere. GOD is with those who steadfastly persevere. And obey God and His messenger, and do not dispute/quarrel so you fail/become weakened and your wind/breeze (energy & strength) goes/goes away, and be patient, that God (is) with the patient.         WaateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu walatanazaAAoo fatafshaloo watathhaba reehukum waisbiroo inna Allaha maAAa alssabireena

47.  *     And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah. For Allah compasseth round about all that they do.     Do not be like those who left their homes grudgingly, only to show off, and in fact discouraged others from following the path of GOD. GOD is fully aware of everything they do. And do not be as/like those who got out/emerged from their homes/houses ungratefully/arrogantly and showing off/pretending to the people, and they object/obstruct from God's way/path, and God (is) with what they make/do surrounding/comprehending.         Walatakoonoo kaallatheena kharajoo min diyarihim bataran wari-aa alnnasi wayasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi waAllahu bimayaAAmaloona muheetun

48.  *     Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah. for Allah is strict in punishment."     The devil had adorned their works in their eyes, and said, "You cannot be defeated by any people today," and "I will be fighting along with you." But as soon as the two armies faced each other, he turned back on his heels and fled, saying, "I disown you. I see what you do not see. I am afraid of GOD. GOD's retribution is awesome." And when the devil decorated/beautified for them their works/deeds, and he said: "No defeater/conqueror from the people for you today and that I am a savior/rescuer for you." So when the two groups saw each other, he returned/withdrew on his two heels, and he said: "That I am innocent/renouncing/separating from you, that I, I see/understand what you do not see/understand, that I, I fear God, and God (is) strong (severe) in the punishment."         Wa-ithzayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum waqala laghaliba lakumu alyawma mina alnnasi wa-innee jarun lakum falammataraati alfi-atani nakasa AAalaAAaqibayhi waqala innee baree-on minkum innee aramalatarawna innee akhafu Allaha waAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi

49.  *     Lo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people,- their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah, behold! Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.     The hypocrites and those who harbored doubt in their hearts said, "These people are deceived by their religion." However, if one puts his trust in GOD, then GOD is Almighty, Most Wise. When/if the hypocrites and those who in their hearts/minds (there) is sickness/disease say: "Those, their religion has deceived/tempted (them)." They will beat them on their faces and their rear ends: "Taste the retribution of Hell.     ولو ترى اذ يتوفى الذين كفروا الملائكة يضربون وجوههم وادبارهم وذوقوا عذاب الحريق     And if you see/understand when the angels make those who disbelieved die, they strike/beat their faces/fronts and their backs/ends, and (they say): "Taste/experience the burning torture."         Walaw taraithyatawaffaallatheena kafaroo almala-ikatu yadriboona wujoohahum waadbarahum wathooqoo AAathaba alhareeqi

52.  *     "(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment:     This is the same fate as that of Pharaoh's people and those who disbelieved before them. They rejected GOD's revelations, and GOD punished them for their sins. GOD is powerful, and His retribution is severe.     كداب ال فرعون والذين من قبلهم كفروا بايات الله فاخذهم الله بذنوبهم ان الله قوي شديد العقاب     As pharaoh's family's affairs/habits and those from before them, they disbelieved with Gods' verses/evidences, so God took/punished them because of their crimes, that God (is) strong/powerful strong (severe in) the punishment.         Kada\biali firAAawna waallatheena min qablihim kafaroo bi-ayati Allahi faakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim inna Allaha qawiyyun shadeedu alAAiqabi

They first rejected the signs of their Lord. Consequently, we annihilated them for their sins. We drowned Pharaoh's people; the wicked were consistently punished. As Pharaoh's family's affairs/habits and those from before them, they denied/falsified with God's verses/evidences, so We made them die/destroyed them because of their crimes, and We drowned/sunk Pharaoh's family, and all/each were unjust/oppressors.         Kada\biali firAAawna waallatheena min qablihim kaththaboo bi-ayati rabbihim faahlaknahum bithunoobihim waaghraqnaala firAAawna wakullun kanoothalimeena

GOD does not love the betrayers. And if you fear from a nation betrayal/unfaithfulness, so discard/reject to them on straightness, that God does not love/like the betrayers/unfaithfuls.         Wa-immatakhafanna min qawmin khiyanatan fainbithilayhim AAalasawa-in inna Allaha layuhibbu alkha-ineena

68.  *     Had it not been for a previous ordainment from Allah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that ye took.     If it were not for a predetermined decree from GOD, you would have suffered, on account of what you took, a terrible retribution. Where it not for a Book/decree/term preceded from God, a great torture would have touched you in what you took/received.         Lawlakitabun mina Allahi sabaqa lamassakum feemaakhathtum AAathabun AAatheemun

69.  *     But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah. for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.     Therefore, eat from the spoils you have earned, that which is lawful and good, and observe GOD. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. So eat from what you won/gained by spoils of war (it is) permitted/allowed enjoyable/allowed/permitted, and fear and obey God, that God (is) forgiving merciful.         Fakuloo mimmaghanimtumhalalantayyiban waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

70.  *     O Messenger. say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."     O you prophet, tell the prisoners of war in your hands, "If GOD knew of anything good in your hearts, He would have given you better than anything you have lost, and would have forgiven you. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful." You, you the Prophet, say to whom (is) in your hands from the captives/prisoners: "If God knows (there) is in your hearts/minds (from) goodness, He gives/brings to you better than what was taken from you, and He forgives for you, and God (is) forgiving, merciful."         Yaayyuhaalnnabiyyu qul liman fee aydeekum mina al-asrain yaAAlami Allahu fee quloobikum khayran yu\tikum khayran mimmaokhitha minkum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

71.  *     But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Messenger.), they have already been in treason against Allah, and so hath He given (thee) power over them. And Allah so He Who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom.     And if they want to betray you, they have already betrayed GOD. This is why He made them the losers. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise. And if they want your betrayal/unfaithfulness, so they had betrayed/become unfaithful to God from before, so He gave others high position/strength from them, and God (is) knowledgeable, wise/judicious.         Wa-in yureedoo khiyanataka faqad khanoo Allaha min qablu faamkana minhum waAllahu AAaleemunhakeemun

72.  *     Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.     Surely, those who believed, and emigrated, and strove with their money and their lives in the cause of GOD, as well as those who hosted them and gave them refuge, and supported them, they are allies of one another. As for those who believe, but do not emigrate with you, you do not owe them any support, until they do emigrate. However, if they need your help, as brethren in faith, you shall help them, except against people with whom you have signed a peace treaty. GOD is Seer of everything you do. That those who believed and emigrated and struggled/exerted, with their properties/possessions and119themselves in God's sake/way, and those who sheltered/gave refuge and saved/gave victory/aided, those, some of them (are) guardians/patrons/allies (to) some, and those who believed and did not emigrate, their guardianship/patronage is not for (on) you from a thing (your responsibility) until they emigrate, and if they asked you to save/aid them in the religion, so the victory/aid is on you (your duty) except on a nation between you and between them (is) a promise/covenant, and God (is) with what you made/do seeing/knowing.         Inna allatheenaamanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waallatheenaawaw wanasaroo ola-ika baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waallatheenaamanoo walam yuhajiroo malakum min walayatihim min shay-inhattayuhajiroo wa-ini istansarookum fee alddeeni faAAalaykumu alnnasru illaAAalaqawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun waAllahu bimataAAmaloona baseerun

73.  *     The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.     Those who disbelieved are allies of one another. Unless you keep these commandments, there will be chaos on earth, and terrible corruption. And those who disbelieved some of them (are) guardians/allies (of) some, if you not make/do it, it (will) be misguidance/betrayal in the earth/Planet Earth, and big/great corruption/disorder.         Waallatheena kafaroo baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin illatafAAaloohu takun fitnatun fee al-ardi wafasadun kabeerun

74.  *     Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.     Those who believed and emigrated, and strove in the cause of GOD, as well as those who hosted them and gave them refuge, and supported them, these are the true believers. They have deserved forgiveness and a generous recompense. And those who believed and emigrated and struggled/exerted in God's sake/way, and those who sheltered/gave refuge and saved/gave victory/aided, those, they are the believers truly/certainly, for them (is) a forgiveness and a generous/gracious provision.         Waallatheenaamanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo fee sabeeli Allahi waallatheenaawaw wanasaroo ola-ika humu almu\minoonahaqqan lahum maghfiratun warizqun kareemun

75.  *     And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well-acquainted with all things.     Those who believed afterwards, and emigrated, and strove with you, they belong with you. Those who are related to each other shall be the first to support each other, in accordance with GOD's commandments. GOD is fully aware of all things. And those who believed from after and emigrated and struggled/exerted with you, so those (are) from you, and of the relations some of them (are) more worthy/deserving with some in God's Book, that God (is) with every thing knowledgeable. 120         Waallatheenaamanoo min baAAdu wahajaroo wajahadoo maAAakum faola-ika minkum waoloo al-arhami baAAduhum awlabibaAAdin fee kitabi Allahi inna Allaha bikulli shay-in AAaleemun
