Woe to those that deal in fraud,-
|
|
Woe to the cheaters.
|
|
سورة المطففين بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ ويل للمطففين
|
|
swr+ almTffyn bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? wyl llmTffyn
|
|
2. * |
Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure,
|
|
Who demand full measure when receiving from the people.
|
|
الذين اذا اكتالوا على الناس يستوفون
|
|
alXyn aXa aktalwa `li alnas ystwfwn
|
|
3. * |
But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.
|
|
But when giving them the measures or weights, they cheat.
|
|
واذا كالوهم او وزنوهم يخسرون
|
|
waXa kalwhm aw wznwhm yKsrwn
|
|
4. * |
Do they not think that they will be called to account?-
|
|
Do they not know that they will be resurrected?
|
|
الايظن اولئك انهم مبعوثون
|
|
alayZn awlYk anhm mb`wxwn
|
|
5. * |
On a Mighty Day,
|
|
On a tremendous day?
|
|
ليوم عظيم
|
|
lywm `Zym
|
|
6. * |
A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds?
|
|
That is the day when all people will stand before the Lord of the universe.
|
|
يوم يقوم الناس لرب العالمين
|
|
ywm yqwm alnas lrb al`almyn
|
|
7. * |
Day! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin.
|
|
Indeed, the book of the wicked is in Sijjeen.
|
|
كلا ان كتاب الفجار لفي سجين
|
|
kla an ktab alfjar lfy sjyn
|
|
8. * |
And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is?
|
|
Do you know what Sijjeen is?
|
|
وماادراك ماسجين
|
|
wmaadrak masjyn
|
|
9. * |
(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed.
|
|
A numerically structured book.
|
|
كتاب مرقوم
|
|
ktab mrqwm
|
|
10. * |
Woe, that Day, to those that deny-
|
|
Woe on that day to the rejectors.
|
|
ويل يومئذ للمكذبين
|
|
wyl ywmYX llmkXbyn
|
|
11. * |
Those that deny the Day of Judgment.
|
|
They do not believe in the Day of Judgment.
|
|
الذين يكذبون بيوم الدين
|
|
alXyn ykXbwn bywm aldyn
|
|
12. * |
And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner!
|
|
None disbelieves therein except the transgressor, the sinful.
|
|
ومايكذب به الا كل معتد اثيم
|
|
wmaykXb bh ala kl m`td axym
|
|
13. * |
When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!"
|
|
When our revelations are recited to him, he says, "Tales from the past!"
|
|
اذا تتلى عليه اياتنا قال اساطير الاولين
|
|
aXa ttli `lyh ayatna qal asaTyr alawlyn
|
|
14. * |
By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do!
|
|
Indeed, their hearts have become shielded by their sins.
|
|
كلا بل ران على قلوبهم ماكانوا يكسبون
|
|
kla bl ran `li qlwbhm makanwa yksbwn
|
|
15. * |
Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled.
|
|
Indeed, they will be isolated, on that day, from their Lord.
|
|
كلا انهم عن ربهم يومئذ لمحجوبون
|
|
kla anhm `n rbhm ywmYX lmHjwbwn
|
|
16. * |
Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.
|
|
Then they will be thrown into Hell.
|
|
ثم انهم لصالوا الجحيم
|
|
xm anhm lSalwa aljHym
|
|
17. * |
Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false!
|
|
They will be told, "This is what you used to deny."
|
|
ثم يقال هذا الذي كنتم به تكذبون
|
|
xm yqal hXa alXy kntm bh tkXbwn
|
|
18. * |
Day, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin.
|
|
Indeed, the book of the righteous will be in `Elleyyeen.
|
|
كلا ان كتاب الابرار لفي عليين
|
|
kla an ktab alabrar lfy `lyyn
|
|
19. * |
And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is?
|
|
Do you know what `Elleyyeen is?
|
|
وماادراك ماعليون
|
|
wmaadrak ma`lywn
|
|
20. * |
(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed,
|
|
A numerically structured book.
|
|
كتاب مرقوم
|
|
ktab mrqwm
|
|
21. * |
To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah..
|
|
To be witnessed by those close to Me.
|
|
يشهده المقربون
|
|
y$hdh almqrbwn
|
|
22. * |
Truly the Righteous will be in Bliss:
|
|
The righteous have deserved bliss.
|
|
ان الابرار لفي نعيم
|
|
an alabrar lfy n`ym
|
|
23. * |
On Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a sight (of all things):
|
|
On luxurious furnishings they watch.
|
|
على الارائك ينظرون
|
|
`li alaraYk ynZrwn
|
|
24. * |
Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss.
|
|
You recognize in their faces the joy of bliss.
|
|
تعرف في وجوههم نضرة النعيم
|
|
t`rf fy wjwhhm nDr+ aln`ym
|
|
25. * |
Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed:
|
|
Their drinks will be spiced with nectar.
|
|
يسقون من رحيق مختوم
|
|
ysqwn mn rHyq mKtwm
|
|
26. * |
The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations:
|
|
Its spice is like musk. This is what the competitors should compete for.
|
|
ختامه مسك وفي ذلك فليتنافس المتنافسون
|
|
Ktamh msk wfy Xlk flytnafs almtnafswn
|
|
27. * |
With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim:
|
|
Mixed into it will be special flavors.
|
|
ومزاجه من تسنيم
|
|
wmzajh mn tsnym
|
|
28. * |
A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah.
|
|
From a spring that is reserved for those close to Me.
|
|
عينا يشرب بها المقربون
|
|
`yna y$rb bha almqrbwn
|
|
29. * |
Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed,
|
|
The wicked used to laugh at those who believed.
|
|
ان الذين اجرموا كانوا من الذين امنوا يضحكون
|
|
an alXyn ajrmwa kanwa mn alXyn amnwa yDHkwn
|
|
30. * |
And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery);
|
|
When they passed by them, they used to poke fun.
|
|
واذا مروا بهم يتغامزون
|
|
waXa mrwa bhm ytGamzwn
|
|
31. * |
And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;
|
|
When they got together with their people, they used to joke.
|
|
واذا انقلبوا الى اهلهم انقلبوا فكهين
|
|
waXa anqlbwa ali ahlhm anqlbwa fkhyn
|
|
32. * |
And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!"
|
|
Whenever they saw them, they said, "These people are far astray!
|
|
واذا راوهم قالوا ان هؤلاء لضالون
|
|
waXa rawhm qalwa an hWla' lDalwn
|
|
33. * |
But they had not been sent as keepers over them!
|
|
"They have no such thing as (invisible) guards."
|
|
وماارسلوا عليهم حافظين
|
|
wmaarslwa `lyhm HafZyn
|
|
34. * |
But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers:
|
|
Today, those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers.
|
|
فاليوم الذين امنوا من الكفار يضحكون
|
|
falywm alXyn amnwa mn alkfar yDHkwn
|
|
35. * |
On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things).
|
|
On luxurious furnishings they watch.
|
|
على الارائك ينظرون
|
|
`li alaraYk ynZrwn
|
|
36. * |
Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did?
|
|
Most assuredly, the disbelievers are requited for what they did.
|
|
هل ثوب الكفار ماكانوا يفعلون
|
|
