ויאמר יהוה אל־משה עתה תראה אשר אעשה לפרעה כי ביד חזקה ישלחם וביד חזקה יגרשם מארצו׃ |
Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. | Yahweh said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land." | And the Lord said to Moses, Now you will see what I am about to do to Pharaoh; for by a strong hand he will be forced to let them go, driving them out of his land because of my outstretched arm. | |||

וידבר אלהים אל־משה ויאמר אליו אני יהוה׃ |

וארא אל־אברהם אל־יצחק ואל־יעקב באל שדי ושמי יהוה לא נודעתי להם׃ |
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. | and I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them. | I let myself be seen by Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God, the Ruler of all; but they had no knowledge of my name Yahweh. | |||

וגם הקמתי את־בריתי אתם לתת להם את־ארץ כנען את ארץ מגריהם אשר־ גרו בה׃ |
And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. | I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens. | And I made an agreement with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their wanderings. | |||

וגם אני שמעתי את־נאקת בני ישראל אשר מצרים מעבדים אתם ואזכר את־ בריתי׃ |

לכן אמר לבני־ישראל אני יהוה והוצאתי אתכם מתחת סבלת מצרים והצלתי אתכם מעבדתם וגאלתי אתכם בזרוע נטויה ובשפטים גדלים׃ |
Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: | Therefore tell the children of Israel, 'I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments: | Say then to the children of Israel, I am Yahweh, and I will take you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians, and make you safe from their power, and will make you free by the strength of my arm after great punishments. | |||

ולקחתי אתכם לי לעם והייתי לכם לאלהים וידעתם כי אני יהוה אלהיכם המוציא אתכם מתחת סבלות מצרים׃ |

וידבר משה כן אל־בני ישראל ולא שמעו אל־משה מקצר רוח ומעבדה קשה׃ |
And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. | Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they didn't listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. | And Moses said these words to the children of Israel, but they gave no attention to him, because of the grief of their spirit and the cruel weight of their work. | |||

בא דבר אל־פרעה מלך מצרים וישלח את־בני־ישראל מארצו׃ |

וידבר משה לפני יהוה לאמר הן בני־ישראל לא־שמעו אלי ואיך ישמעני פרעה ואני ערל שפתים׃ |
And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? | Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, "Behold, the children of Israel haven't listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?" | And Moses, answering the Lord, said, See, the children of Israel will not give ear to me; how then will Pharaoh give ear to me, whose lips are unclean? | |||

וידבר יהוה אל־משה ואל־אהרן ויצום אל־בני ישראל ואל־פרעה מלך מצרים להוציא את־בני־ישראל מארץ מצרים׃ |
And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. | Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. | And the word of the Lord came to Moses and Aaron, with orders for the children of Israel and for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to take the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. | |||

That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee. | that Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, "I am Yahweh. ויאמר משה לפני יהוה הן אני ערל שפתים ואיך ישמע אלי פרעה׃ |
And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me? | Moses said before Yahweh, "Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?" | And Moses said to the Lord, My lips are unclean; how is it possible that Pharaoh will give me a hearing? | |||
