2.    Yahweh, I have heard of your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds, Yahweh. Renew your work in the midst of the years. In the midst of the years make it known. In wrath, you remember mercy.     O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.     יהוה  שמעתי  שמעך 
יראתי  יהוה  פעלך
בקרב  שנים  חייהו
בקרב  שנים  תודיע
ברגז  רחם  תזכור׃

4.    His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.     And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.     ונגה  כאור  תהיה 
קרנים  מידו  לו  ושם
חביון  עזה׃
    VNGH K'aVUr ThHYH QUrNYM MYDV LV VShM ChBYVN 'yZH.     And the brightness is as the light, He hath rays out of His hand, And there -- the hiding of His strength.     splendor eius ut lux erit cornua in manibus eius ibi abscondita est fortitudo eius
 
5.    Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.     Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.     לפניו  ילך  דבר

    LPhNYV YLK DBUr VYTSh'a UrShPh LUrGLYV.     Before Him goeth pestilence, And a burning flame goeth forth at His feet.     ante faciem eius ibit mors et egredietur diabolus ante pedes eius
 
6.    He stood, and shook the earth. He looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal.     He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.     עמד  וימדד  ארץ  ראה

הררי־עד  שחו  גבעות

יריעות  ארץ  מדין׃

8.    Was Yahweh displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode on your horses, on your chariots of salvation?     Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?     הבנהרים  חרה  יהוה 
אם  בנהרים  אפך
אם־בים  עברתך  כי
תרכב  על־סוסיך
מרכבתיך  ישועה׃
    HBNHUrYM ChUrH YHVH 'aM BNHUrYM 'aPhK 'aM-BYM 'yBUrThK KY ThUrKB 'yL-SVSYK MUrKBThYK YShV'yH.     Against rivers hath Jehovah been wroth? Against rivers is Thine anger? Against the sea is Thy wrath? 9.    You uncovered your bow. You called for your sworn arrows. Selah. You split the earth with rivers.     Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.     עריה  תעור  קשתך

12.    You marched through the land in wrath. You threshed the nations in anger.     Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.     בזעם  תצעד־ארץ  באף

    BZ'yM ThTSh'yD-'aUrTSh B'aPh ThDVSh GVYM.     In indignation Thou dost tread earth, In anger Thou dost thresh nations.     in fremitu conculcabis terram in furore obstupefacies gentes
 
13.    You went forth for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the land of wickedness. You stripped them head to foot. Selah.     Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.     יצאת  לישע  עמך

ערות  יסוד  עד־
צואר  סלה׃
    YTSh'aTh LYSh'y 'yMK LYSh'y 'aTh-MShYChK MChTShTh Ur'aSh MBYTh UrSh'y 'yUrVTh YSVD 'yD- TShV'aUr SLH.     Thou hast gone forth for the salvation of Thy people, For salvation with Thine anointed, Thou hast smitten the head of the house of the wicked, Laying bare the foundation unto the neck. 14.    You pierced the heads of his warriors with their own spears.     NQBTh BMTYV Ur'aSh PhUrZV YS'yUrV LHPhYTShNY 'yLYTShThM KMV-L'aKL 'yNY BMSThUr.     Thou hast pierced with his staves the head of his leaders, They are tempestuous to scatter me, Their exultation is as to consume the poor in secret.     maledixisti sceptris eius capiti bellatorum eius venientibus ut turbo ad dispergendum me exultatio eorum sicut eius qui devorat pauperem in abscondito
 
15.    You trampled the sea with your horses, churning mighty waters.     Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.     דרכת  בים  סוסיך 
חמר  מים  רבים׃
    DUrKTh BYM SVSYK ChMUr MYM UrBYM.     Thou hast proceeded through the sea with Thy horses -- the clay of many waters.     viam fecisti in mari equis tuis in luto aquarum multarum
 
16.    I heard, and my body trembled. My lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble in my place, because I must wait quietly for the day of trouble, for the coming up of the people who invade us.     When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.     שמעתי  ותרגז  בטני

יבוא  רקב  בעצמי
ותחתי  ארגז  אשר
אנוח  ליום  צרה
לעלות  לעם  יגודנו׃
    ShM'yThY VThUrGZ BTNY LQVL TShLLV ShPhThY YBV'a UrQB B'yTShMY VThChThY 'aUrGZ 'aShUr 'aNVCh LYVM TShUrH L'yLVTh L'yM YGVDNV.     I have heard, and my belly trembleth, At the noise have my lips quivered, Rottenness doth come into my bones, And in my place I do tremble, That I rest for a day of distress, At the coming up of the people, he overcometh it.     audivi et conturbatus est venter meus ad vocem contremuerunt labia mea ingrediatur putredo in ossibus meis et subter me scateat ut requiescam in die tribulationis ut ascendam ad populum accinctum nostrum
 
17.    For though the fig tree doesn't flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls:     Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:     כי־תאנה  לא־תפרח 
ואין  יבול  בגפנים
כחש  מעשה־זית
ושדמות  לא־עשה  אכל
גזר  ממכלה  צאן
ואין  בקר  ברפתים׃
    KY-Th'aNH L'a-ThPhUrCh V'aYN YBVL BGPhNYM KChSh M'yShH-ZYTh VShDMVTh L'a-'yShH 'aKL GZUr MMKLH TSh'aN V'aYN BQUr BUrPhThYM.     Though the fig-tree doth not flourish, And there is no produce among vines, Failed hath the work of the olive, And fields have not yielded food, Cut off from the fold hath been the flock, And there is no herd in the stalls.     ficus enim non florebit et non erit germen in vineis mentietur opus olivae et arva non adferent cibum abscidetur de ovili pecus et non erit armentum in praesepibus
 
18.    yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!     Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.     ואני  ביהוה  אעלוזה

19.    Yahweh, the Lord{The word translated "Lord" is "Adonai."}, is my strength. He makes my feet like deer's feet, and enables me to go in high places. For the music director, on my stringed instruments.     The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.     יהוה  אדני  חילי 
וישם  רגלי  כאילות
ועל  במותי  ידרכני
למנצח  בנגינותי׃
    YHVH 'aDNY ChYLY VYShM UrGLY K'aYLVTh V'yL BMVThY YDUrKNY LMNTShCh BNGYNVThY.     Jehovah the Lord is my strength, And He doth make my feet like hinds, And on my high-places causeth me to tread. To the overseer with my stringed instruments!
