| 11. | It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was the word of Yahweh. | And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD. |

ואמר אליהם אם־טוב בעיניכם הבו שכרי ואם־לא חדלו וישקלו את־ שכרי שלשים כסף׃ |
V'aMUr 'aLYHM 'aM-TVB B'yYNYKM HBV ShKUrY V'aM-L'a ChDLV VYShQLV 'aTh- ShKUrY ShLShYM KSPh. | And I say unto them: `If good in your eyes, give my hire, and if not, forbear;` and they weigh out my hire -- thirty silverlings. | et dixi ad eos si bonum est in oculis vestris adferte mercedem meam et si non quiescite et adpenderunt mercedem meam triginta argenteos | |||||
| 13. | Yahweh said to me, "Throw it to the potter, the handsome price that I was valued at by them!" I took the thirty pieces of silver, and threw them to the potter, in the house of Yahweh. | And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD. |
ויאמר יהוה אלי השליכהו אל־היוצר אדר היקר אשר יקרתי מעליהם ואקחה שלשים הכסף ואשליך אתו בית יהוה אל־היוצר׃ |

V'aGD'y 'aTh-MQLY HShNY 'aTh HChBLYM LHPhUr 'aTh-H'aChVH BYN YHVDH VBYN YShUr'aL. | And I cut asunder my second staff, Bands, to break the unity between Judah and Israel. | et praecidi virgam meam secundam quae appellabatur Funiculus ut dissolverem germanitatem inter Iudam et inter Israhel | |||||
| 15. | Yahweh said to me, "Take for yourself yet again the equipment of a foolish shepherd. | And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd. |

| 16. | For, behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those who are cut off, neither will seek those who are scattered, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat sheep, and will tear their hoofs in pieces. | For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. |
