When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.     And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.     και μη δυναμενοι προσενεγκαι αυτω δια τον οχλον απεστεγασαν την στεγην οπου ην και εξορυξαντες χαλωσι τον κραβαττον οπου  ο παραλυτικος κατεκειτο     and not being able to come near to him because of the multitude, they uncovered the roof where he was, and, having broken it up, they let down the couch on which the paralytic was lying,     et cum non possent offerre eum illi prae turba nudaverunt tectum ubi erat et patefacientes submiserunt grabattum in quo paralyticus iacebat

5.    Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."     When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.     και ιδων ο ιησους την πιστιν αυτων λεγει τω παραλυτικω τεκνον αφιενται σου αι αμαρτιαι     and Jesus having seen their faith, saith to the paralytic, `Child, thy sins have been forgiven thee.`     cum vidisset autem Iesus fidem illorum ait paralytico fili dimittuntur tibi peccata
