1.    Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:     Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:     παυλος αποστολος χριστου ιησου δια θεληματος θεου τοις αγιοις τοις ουσιν [εν εφεσω] και πιστοις εν χριστω ιησου     Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:     Paulus apostolus Christi Iesu per voluntatem Dei sanctis omnibus qui sunt Ephesi et fidelibus in Christo Iesu
 
2.    Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.     Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.     χαρις υμιν και ειρηνη απο θεου πατρος ημων και κυριου ιησου χριστου     Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!     gratia vobis et pax a Deo Patre nostro et Domino Iesu Christo
 
3.    Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;     Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:     ευλογητος ο θεος και πατηρ του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου ο ευλογησας ημας εν παση ευλογια πνευματικη εν τοις επουρανιοις εν χριστω     Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who did bless us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,     benedictus Deus et Pater Domini nostri Iesu Christi qui benedixit nos in omni benedictione spiritali in caelestibus in Christo
 
4.    even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;     According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:     καθως εξελεξατο ημας εν αυτω προ καταβολης κοσμου ειναι ημας αγιους και αμωμους κατενωπιον αυτου εν αγαπη     according as He did choose us in him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love,     sicut elegit nos in ipso ante mundi constitutionem ut essemus sancti et inmaculati in conspectu eius in caritate
 
5.    having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,     Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,     προορισας ημας εις υιοθεσιαν δια ιησου χριστου εις αυτον κατα την ευδοκιαν του θεληματος αυτου     having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,     qui praedestinavit nos in adoptionem filiorum per Iesum Christum in ipsum secundum propositum voluntatis suae
 
6.    to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,     To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.     εις επαινον δοξης της χαριτος αυτου ησ  εχαριτωσεν ημας εν τω ηγαπημενω     to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He did make us accepted in the beloved,     in laudem gloriae gratiae suae in qua gratificavit nos in dilecto
 
7.    in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,     In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;     εν ω εχομεν την απολυτρωσιν δια του αιματος αυτου την αφεσιν των παραπτωματων κατα το πλουτοσ της χαριτος αυτου     in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of the trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,     in quo habemus redemptionem per sanguinem eius remissionem peccatorum secundum divitias gratiae eius
 
8.    which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,     Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;     ης επερισσευσεν εις ημας εν παση σοφια και φρονησει     in which He did abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,     quae superabundavit in nobis in omni sapientia et prudentia
 
9.    making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him     Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:     γνωρισας ημιν το μυστηριον του θεληματος αυτου κατα την ευδοκιαν αυτου ην προεθετο εν αυτω     having made known to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself,     ut notum faceret nobis sacramentum voluntatis suae secundum bonum placitum eius quod proposuit in eo
 
10.    to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him;     That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:     εις οικονομιαν του πληρωματος των καιρων ανακεφαλαιωσασθαι τα παντα εν τω χριστω τα επι  τοις ουρανοις και τα επι της γης     in regard to the dispensation of the fulness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth -- in him;     in dispensationem plenitudinis temporum instaurare omnia in Christo quae in caelis et quae in terra sunt in ipso
 
11.    in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will;     In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:     εν αυτω εν ω και εκληρωθημεν προορισθεντες κατα προθεσιν του τα παντα ενεργουντος κατα την βουλην του θεληματος αυτου     in whom also we did obtain an inheritance, being foreordained according to the purpose of Him who the all things is working according to the counsel of His will,     in quo etiam sorte vocati sumus praedestinati secundum propositum eius qui omnia operatur secundum consilium voluntatis suae
 
12.    to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:     That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.     εις το ειναι ημας εις επαινον δοξης αυτου τους προηλπικοτας εν τω χριστω     for our being to the praise of His glory, even those who did first hope in the Christ,     ut simus in laudem gloriae eius qui ante speravimus in Christo
 
13.    in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation,--in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,     In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,     εν ω και υμεις ακουσαντες τον λογον της αληθειας το ευαγγελιον της σωτηριας υμων εν ω και πιστευσαντες εσφραγισθητε τω πνευματι της επαγγελιας τω αγιω     in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth -- the good news of your salvation -- in whom also having believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,     in quo et vos cum audissetis verbum veritatis evangelium salutis vestrae in quo et credentes signati estis Spiritu promissionis Sancto
 
14.    who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.     Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.     ο εστιν αρραβων της κληρονομιας ημων εις απολυτρωσιν της περιποιησεως εις επαινον της δοξης αυτου     which is an earnest of our inheritance, to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.     qui est pignus hereditatis nostrae in redemptionem adquisitionis in laudem gloriae ipsius
 
15.    For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which you have toward all the saints,     Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,     δια τουτο καγω ακουσας την καθ υμας πιστιν εν τω κυριω ιησου και την αγαπην την εις παντας τους αγιους     Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the saints,     propterea et ego audiens fidem vestram quae est in Domino Iesu et dilectionem in omnes sanctos
 
16.    don't cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,     Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;     ου παυομαι ευχαριστων υπερ υμων μνειαν ποιουμενος επι των προσευχων μου     do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,     non cesso gratias agens pro vobis memoriam vestri faciens in orationibus meis
 
17.    that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;     That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:     ινα ο θεος του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου ο πατηρ της δοξης δωη υμιν πνευμα σοφιας και αποκαλυψεως εν επιγνωσει αυτου     that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition of him,     ut Deus Domini nostri Iesu Christi Pater gloriae det vobis spiritum sapientiae et revelationis in agnitione eius
 
18.    having the eyes of your hearts{TR reads "understanding" instead of "hearts"} enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,     The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,     πεφωτισμενους τους οφθαλμους της καρδιασ  [υμων] εις το ειδεναι υμας τις εστιν η ελπις της κλησεως αυτου τις ο πλουτος της δοξης της κληρονομιας αυτου εν τοις αγιοις     the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, for your knowing what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,     inluminatos oculos cordis vestri ut sciatis quae sit spes vocationis eius quae divitiae gloriae hereditatis eius in sanctis
 
19.    and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might     And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,     και τι το υπερβαλλον μεγεθος της δυναμεως αυτου εις ημας τους πιστευοντας κατα την ενεργειαν του κρατους της ισχυος αυτου     and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might,     et quae sit supereminens magnitudo virtutis eius in nos qui credidimus secundum operationem potentiae virtutis eius
 
20.    which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,     Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,     ην ενηργησεν εν τω χριστω εγειρας αυτον εκ νεκρων και καθισασ εν δεξια αυτου εν τοις επουρανιοις     which He wrought in the Christ, having raised him out of the dead, and did set him at His right hand in the heavenly places,     quam operatus est in Christo suscitans illum a mortuis et constituens ad dexteram suam in caelestibus
 
21.    far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.     Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:     υπερανω πασης αρχης και εξουσιας και δυναμεως και κυριοτητος και παντος ονοματος ονομαζομενου ου μονον εν τω αιωνι τουτω αλλα και εν τω μελλοντι     far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one;     supra omnem principatum et potestatem et virtutem et dominationem et omne nomen quod nominatur non solum in hoc saeculo sed et in futuro
 
22.    He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,     And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,     και παντα υπεταξεν υπο τους ποδας αυτου και αυτον εδωκεν κεφαλην υπερ παντα τη εκκλησια     and all things He did put under his feet, and did give him -- head over all things to the assembly,     et omnia subiecit sub pedibus eius et ipsum dedit caput supra omnia ecclesiae
 
23.    which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.     Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.     ητις εστιν το σωμα αυτου το πληρωμα του τα παντα εν πασιν πληρουμενου     which is his body, the fulness of Him who is filling the all in all,     quae est corpus ipsius plenitudo eius qui omnia in omnibus adimpletur
