| 1. | After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory. | And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. | μετα ταυτα ειδον αλλον αγγελον καταβαινοντα εκ του ουρανου εχοντα εξουσιαν μεγαλην και η γη εφωτισθη εκ της δοξης αυτου | And after these things I saw another messenger coming down out of the heaven, having great authority, and the earth was lightened from his glory, | et post haec vidi alium angelum descendentem de caelo habentem potestatem magnam et terra inluminata est a gloria eius | ||||

| 4. | I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don't receive of her plagues, | And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. | και ηκουσα αλλην φωνην εκ του ουρανου λεγουσαν εξελθατε ο λαος μου εξ αυτησ ινα μη συγκοινωνησητε ταις αμαρτιαις αυτης και εκ των πληγων αυτης ινα μη λαβητε | And I heard another voice out of the heaven, saying, `Come forth out of her, My people, that ye may not partake with her sins, and that ye may not receive of her plagues, | et audivi aliam vocem de caelo dicentem exite de illa populus meus ut ne participes sitis delictorum eius et de plagis eius non accipiatis | ||||

| 9. | The kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her, will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning, | And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, | και κλαυσουσιν και κοψονται επ αυτην οι βασιλεις της γης οι μετ αυτης πορνευσαντες και στρηνιασαντες οταν βλεπωσιν τον καπνον της πυρωσεως αυτης | and weep over her, and smite themselves for her, shall the kings of the earth, who with her did commit whoredom and did revel, when they may see the smoke of her burning, | et flebunt et plangent se super illam reges terrae qui cum illa fornicati sunt et in deliciis vixerunt cum viderint fumum incendii eius | ||||

| 16. | saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls! | And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! | λεγοντες ουαι ουαι η πολις η μεγαλη η περιβεβλημενη βυσσινον και πορφυρουν και κοκκινον και κεχρυσωμενη [εν] χρυσιω και λιθω τιμιω και μαργαριτη | and saying, Wo, wo, the great city, that was arrayed with fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and gilded in gold, and precious stone, and pearls -- because in one hour so much riches were made waste! | et dicentes vae vae civitas illa magna quae amicta erat byssino et purpura et cocco et deaurata est auro et lapide pretioso et margaritis | ||||

Every shipmaster, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away, | For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, | οτι μια ωρα ηρημωθη ο τοσουτος πλουτος και πας κυβερνητης και πας ο επι τοπον πλεων και ναυται και οσοι την θαλασσαν εργαζονται απο μακροθεν εστησαν | `And every shipmaster, and all the company upon the ships, and sailors, and as many as work the sea, far off stood, | quoniam una hora destitutae sunt tantae divitiae et omnis gubernator et omnis qui in locum navigat et nautae et qui maria operantur longe steterunt | ||||
