1.    I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.     And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.     και ειδον αγγελον καταβαινοντα εκ του ουρανου εχοντα την κλειν της αβυσσου και αλυσιν μεγαλην επι την χειρα αυτου     And I saw a messenger coming down out of the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain over his hand,     et vidi angelum descendentem de caelo habentem clavem abyssi et catenam magnam in manu sua

2.    He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,     And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,     και εκρατησεν τον δρακοντα ο οφισ ο αρχαιοσ ος εστιν διαβολος και ο σατανας   και εδησεν αυτον χιλια ετη     and he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, who is Devil and Adversary, and did bind him a thousand years,     et adprehendit draconem serpentem antiquum qui est diabolus et Satanas et ligavit eum per annos mille

3.    and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.     And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.     και εβαλεν αυτον εις την αβυσσον και εκλεισεν και εσφραγισεν επανω αυτου ινα μη πλανηση ετι τα εθνη αχρι τελεσθη τα χιλια ετη μετα ταυτα δει λυθηναι αυτον μικρον χρονον     and he cast him to the abyss, and did shut him up, and put a seal upon him, that he may not lead astray the nations any more, till the thousand years may be finished; and after these it behoveth him to be loosed a little time.     et misit eum in abyssum et clusit et signavit super illum ut non seducat amplius gentes donec consummentur mille anni post haec oportet illum solvi modico tempore

4.    I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn't worship the beast nor his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.     And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.     και ειδον θρονους και εκαθισαν επ αυτους και κριμα εδοθη αυτοις και τας ψυχας των πεπελεκισμενων δια την μαρτυριαν ιησου και δια τον λογον του θεου και οιτινες ου προσεκυνησαν το θηριον ουδε την εικονα αυτου και ουκ ελαβον το χαραγμα επι το μετωπον  και επι την χειρα αυτων και εζησαν και εβασιλευσαν μετα του χριστου  χιλια ετη     And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God, and who did not bow before the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand, and they did live and reign with Christ the thousand years;     et vidi sedes et sederunt super eas et iudicium datum est illis et animas decollatorum propter testimonium Iesu et propter verbum Dei et qui non adoraverunt bestiam neque imaginem eius nec acceperunt caracterem in frontibus aut in manibus suis et vixerunt et regnaverunt cum Christo mille annis

5.    The rest of the dead didn't live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.     But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.     οι λοιποι των νεκρων ουκ εζησαν αχρι τελεσθη τα χιλια ετη αυτη η αναστασις η πρωτη     and the rest of the dead did not live again till the thousand years may be finished; this is the first rising again.     ceteri mortuorum non vixerunt donec consummentur mille anni haec est resurrectio prima

6.    Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.     Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.     μακαριος και αγιος ο εχων μερος εν τη αναστασει τη πρωτη επι τουτων ο  δευτερος θανατοσ ουκ εχει εξουσιαν αλλ εσονται ιερεις του θεου και του χριστου και βασιλευσουσιν μετ αυτου [τα] χιλια ετη     Happy and holy is he who is having part in the first rising again; over these the second death hath not authority, but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.     beatus et sanctus qui habet partem in resurrectione prima in his secunda mors non habet potestatem sed erunt sacerdotes Dei et Christi et regnabunt cum illo mille annis

7.    And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison,     And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,     και οταν τελεσθη τα χιλια ετη λυθησεται ο σατανας εκ της φυλακης αυτου     And when the thousand years may be finished, the Adversary shall be loosed out of his prison,     et cum consummati fuerint mille anni solvetur Satanas de carcere suo et exibit et seducet gentes quae sunt super quattuor angulos terrae Gog et Magog et congregabit eos in proelium quorum numerus est sicut harena maris

8.    and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.     And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.     και εξελευσεται πλανησαι τα εθνη τα εν ταις τεσσαρσιν γωνιαις της γης τον γωγ και μαγωγ συναγαγειν αυτους εις τον πολεμον ων ο αριθμος αυτων ως η αμμος της θαλασσης     and he shall go forth to lead the nations astray, that are in the four corners of the earth -- Gog and Magog -- to gather them together to war, of whom the number is as the sand of the sea;     et ascenderunt super latitudinem terrae et circumierunt castra sanctorum et civitatem dilectam

9.    They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them.     And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.     και ανεβησαν επι το πλατος της γης και εκυκλευσαν την παρεμβολην των αγιων και την πολιν την ηγαπημενην και κατεβη πυρ  εκ του ουρανου  και κατεφαγεν αυτους     and they did go up over the breadth of the land, and did surround the camp of the saints, and the beloved city, and there came down fire from God out of the heaven, and devoured them;     et descendit ignis a Deo de caelo et devoravit eos et diabolus qui seducebat eos missus est in stagnum ignis et sulphuris ubi et bestia

10.    The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.     And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.     και ο διαβολος ο πλανων αυτους εβληθη εις την λιμνην του πυρος και θειου οπου και το θηριον και ο ψευδοπροφητης και βασανισθησονται ημερας και νυκτος εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων     and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are the beast and the false prophet, and they shall be tormented day and night -- to the ages of the ages.     et pseudoprophetes et cruciabuntur die ac nocte in saecula saeculorum

11.    I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.     And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.     και ειδον θρονον μεγαν λευκον και τον καθημενον επ αυτον ου απο του προσωπου εφυγεν η γη και ο ουρανος και τοπος ουχ ευρεθη αυτοις     And I saw a great white throne, and Him who is sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven did flee away, and place was not found for them;     et vidi thronum magnum candidum et sedentem super eum a cuius aspectu fugit terra et caelum et locus non est inventus ab eis

12.    I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.     And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.     και ειδον τους νεκρους τουσ  μεγαλους και τουσ μικρουσ εστωτας ενωπιον του θρονου και βιβλια ηνοιχθησαν και αλλο βιβλιον ηνοιχθη ο εστιν της ζωης και εκριθησαν οι νεκροι εκ των γεγραμμενων εν τοις βιβλιοις κατα τα εργα αυτων     and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened, and another scroll was opened, which is that of the life, and the dead were judged out of the things written in the scrolls -- according to their works;     et vidi mortuos magnos et pusillos stantes in conspectu throni et libri aperti sunt et alius liber apertus est qui est vitae et iudicati sunt mortui ex his quae scripta erant in libris secundum opera ipsorum

13.    The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades{or, Hell} gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.     And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.     και εδωκεν η θαλασσα τους νεκρουσ τουσ εν αυτη και ο θανατος και ο αδης εδωκαν τους νεκρουσ τουσ εν αυτοις και εκριθησαν εκαστος κατα τα εργα αυτων     and the sea did give up those dead in it, and the death and the hades did give up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works;     et dedit mare mortuos qui in eo erant et mors et inferus dederunt mortuos qui in ipsis erant et iudicatum est de singulis secundum opera ipsorum

14.    Death and Hades{or, Hell} were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.     And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.     και ο θανατος και ο αδης εβληθησαν εις την λιμνην του πυρος ουτος ο θανατοσ ο δευτερος εστιν η λιμνη του πυροσ     and the death and the hades were cast to the lake of the fire -- this is the second death;     et inferus et mors missi sunt in stagnum ignis haec mors secunda est stagnum ignis

15.    If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.     And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.     και ει τις ουχ ευρεθη εν τη βιβλω της ζωης γεγραμμενος εβληθη εις την λιμνην του πυρος     and if any one was not found written in the scroll of the life, he was cast to the lake of the fire.     et qui non est inventus in libro vitae scriptus missus est in stagnum ignis
