1.    After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.     And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.     μετα τουτο ειδον τεσσαρας αγγελους εστωτας επι τας τεσσαρας γωνιας της γης κρατουντας τους τεσσαρας ανεμους της γης ινα μη πνεη ανεμος επι της γης μητε επι της θαλασσης μητε επι παν δενδρον     And after these things I saw four messengers, standing upon the four corners of the land, holding the four winds of the land, that the wind may not blow upon the land, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree;     post haec vidi quattuor angelos stantes super quattuor angulos terrae tenentes quattuor ventos terrae ne flaret ventus super terram neque super mare neque in ullam arborem
 
2.    I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,     And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,     και ειδον αλλον αγγελον αναβαινοντα απο ανατολης ηλιου εχοντα σφραγιδα θεου ζωντος και εκραξεν φωνη μεγαλη τοις τεσσαρσιν αγγελοις οις εδοθη αυτοις αδικησαι την γην και την θαλασσαν     and I saw another messenger going up from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God, and he did cry with a great voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to injure the land and the sea, saying,     et vidi alterum angelum ascendentem ab ortu solis habentem signum Dei vivi et clamavit voce magna quattuor angelis quibus datum est nocere terrae et mari
 
3.    saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"     Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.     λεγων μη αδικησητε την γην μητε την θαλασσαν μητε τα δενδρα αχρι  σφραγισωμεν τους δουλους του θεου ημων επι των μετωπων αυτων     `Do not injure the land, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we may seal the servants of our God upon their foreheads.`     dicens nolite nocere terrae neque mari neque arboribus quoadusque signemus servos Dei nostri in frontibus eorum
 
4.    I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:     And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.     και ηκουσα τον αριθμον των εσφραγισμενων εκατον  τεσσερακοντα τεσσαρεσ χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι εκ πασης φυλης υιων ισραηλ     And I heard the number of those sealed, (144 thousands were sealed out of all the tribes of the sons of Israel):     et audivi numerum signatorum centum quadraginta quattuor milia signati ex omni tribu filiorum Israhel
 
5.    of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,     Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.     εκ φυλης ιουδα δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι εκ φυλης ρουβην δωδεκα χιλιαδες εκ φυλης γαδ δωδεκα χιλιαδες     of the tribe of Judah 12 thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben 12 thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad 12 thousand were sealed;     ex tribu Iuda duodecim milia signati ex tribu Ruben duodecim milia ex tribu Gad duodecim milia
 
6.    of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,     Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.     εκ φυλης ασηρ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εκ φυλης νεφθαλιμ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εκ φυλης μανασση δωδεκα χιλιαδες     of the tribe of Asher 12 thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali 12 thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh 12 thousand were sealed;     ex tribu Aser duodecim milia ex tribu Nepthalim duodecim milia ex tribu Manasse duodecim milia

8.    of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.     Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.     εκ φυλης ζαβουλων δωδεκα χιλιαδες εκ φυλης ιωσηφ δωδεκα χιλιαδες εκ φυλης βενιαμιν δωδεκα χιλιαδες εσφραγισμενοι     of the tribe of Zebulun 12 thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph 12 thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin 12 thousand were sealed.     ex tribu Zabulon duodecim milia ex tribu Ioseph duodecim milia ex tribu Beniamin duodecim milia signati
 
9.    After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.     After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;     μετα ταυτα ειδον και ιδου οχλος πολυς ον αριθμησαι αυτον ουδεις εδυνατο εκ παντος εθνους και φυλων και λαων και γλωσσων εστωτεσ ενωπιον του θρονου και ενωπιον του αρνιου περιβεβλημενουσ στολας λευκας και φοινικεσ εν ταις χερσιν αυτων     After these things I saw, and lo, a great multitude, which to number no one was able, out of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands,     post haec vidi turbam magnam quam dinumerare nemo poterat ex omnibus gentibus et tribubus et populis et linguis stantes ante thronum et in conspectu agni amicti stolas albas et palmae in manibus eorum
 
10.    They cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"     And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.     και κραζουσιν  φωνη μεγαλη λεγοντες η σωτηρια τω θεω ημων τω καθημενω επι τω θρονω   και τω αρνιω     and crying with a great voice, saying, `The salvation is to Him who is sitting upon the throne -- to our God, and to the Lamb!`     et clamabant voce magna dicentes salus Deo nostro qui sedet super thronum et agno
 
11.    All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,     And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,     και παντες οι αγγελοι ειστηκεισαν κυκλω του θρονου και των πρεσβυτερων και των τεσσαρων ζωων και επεσαν ενωπιον του θρονου επι τα προσωπα αυτων και προσεκυνησαν τω θεω     And all the messengers stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell upon their face, and bowed before God,     et omnes angeli stabant in circuitu throni et seniorum et quattuor animalium et ceciderunt in conspectu throni in facies suas et adoraverunt Deum
 
12.    saying, "Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen."     Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.     λεγοντες αμην η ευλογια και η δοξα και η σοφια και η ευχαριστια και η τιμη και η δυναμις και η ισχυς τω θεω ημων εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων αμην     saying, `Amen! the blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the strength, are to our God -- to the ages of the ages! Amen!`     dicentes amen benedictio et claritas et sapientia et gratiarum actio et honor et virtus et fortitudo Deo nostro in saecula saeculorum amen
 
13.    One of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?"     And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?     και απεκριθη εις εκ των πρεσβυτερων λεγων μοι ουτοι οι περιβεβλημενοι τας στολας τας λευκας τινες εισιν και ποθεν ηλθον     And answer did one of the elders, saying to me, `These, who have been arrayed with the white robes -- who are they, and whence came they?`     et respondit unus de senioribus dicens mihi hii qui amicti sunt stolis albis qui sunt et unde venerunt
 
14.    I told him, "My lord, you know." He said to me, "These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb's blood.     And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.     και ειρηκα αυτω κυριε μου συ οιδας και ειπεν μοι ουτοι εισιν οι ερχομενοι εκ της θλιψεως της μεγαλης και επλυναν τας στολας αυτων και ελευκαναν αυτασ  εν τω αιματι του αρνιου     and I have said to him, `Sir, thou hast known;` and he said to me, `These are those who are coming out of the great tribulation, and they did wash their robes, and they made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb;     et dixi illi domine mi tu scis et dixit mihi hii sunt qui veniunt de tribulatione magna et laverunt stolas suas et dealbaverunt eas in sanguine agni
 
15.    Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.     Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.     δια τουτο εισιν ενωπιον του θρονου του θεου και λατρευουσιν αυτω ημερας και νυκτος εν τω ναω αυτου και ο καθημενος επι του θρονου σκηνωσει επ αυτους     because of this are they before the throne of God, and they do service to Him day and night in His sanctuary, and He who is sitting upon the throne shall tabernacle over them;     ideo sunt ante thronum Dei et serviunt ei die ac nocte in templo eius et qui sedet in throno habitabit super illos
 
16.    They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat;     They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.     ου πεινασουσιν ετι ουδε διψησουσιν ετι  ουδε μη πεση επ αυτους ο ηλιος ουδε παν καυμα     they shall not hunger any more, nor may the sun fall upon them, nor any heat,     non esurient neque sitient amplius neque cadet super illos sol neque ullus aestus
 
17.    for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."     For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.     οτι το αρνιον το ανα μεσον του θρονου ποιμανει αυτους και οδηγησει αυτους επι ζωησ πηγας υδατων και εξαλειψει ο θεος παν δακρυον εκ των οφθαλμων αυτων     because the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and wipe away shall God every tear from their eyes.`     quoniam agnus qui in medio throni est reget illos et deducet eos ad vitae fontes aquarum et absterget Deus omnem lacrimam ex oculis eorum
