You remain preoccupied with hoarding.

The multiplication distracted/diverted you.

Alhakumu alttakathuru

Until ye visit the graves.
|
|
Until you go to the graves.
|
|
حتى زرتم المقابر
|
|
Until you visited the cemeteries/burial places.
|
|
|
|
Hattazurtumu almaqabira
|

| 3. * |
But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality).
|
|
Indeed, you will find out.
|
|
كلا سوف تعلمون
|
|
No but you will/shall know.
|
|
|
|
Kallasawfa taAAlamoona
|
| |
| 4. * |
Again, ye soon shall know!
|
|
Most assuredly, you will find out.
|
|
ثم كلا سوف تعلمون
|
|
Then no but you will/shall know.
|
|
|
|
Thumma kallasawfa taAAlamoona
|

| 5. * |
Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!)
|
|
If only you could find out for certain.
|
|
كلا لو تعلمون علم اليقين
|
|
No but if you know knowledge (of) the assurance/certainty.
|
|
|
|
Kallalaw taAAlamoona AAilma alyaqeeni
|

Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire!
|
|
You would envision Hell.
|
|
لترون الجحيم
|
|
You would see/understand (E) the Hell.
|
|
|
|
Latarawunna aljaheema
|
| |
| 7. * |
Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight!
|
|
Then you would see it with the eye of certainty.
|
|
ثم لترونها عين اليقين
|
|
Then you will see/understand it (with) the assurance's/certainty's eye (visually).
|
|
|
|
Thumma latarawunnahaAAayna alyaqeeni
|

| 8. * |
Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).
|
|
Then you will be questioned, on that day, about the blessings you had enjoyed.
|
|
ثم لتسألن يومئذ عن النعيم
|
|
Then (on) that day you will be asked/questioned (E) about the blessing/goodness.
|
|
|
|
Thumma latus-alunna yawma-ithin AAani alnnaAAeemi
|
