| 1. * | Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,- | Those who disbelieved among the people of the scripture, as well as the idol worshipers, insist on their ways, despite the proof given to them. | سورة البينة بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ لم يكن الذين كفروا من اهل الكتاب والمشركين منفكين حتى تاتيهم البينة | swr+ albyn+ bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? lm ykn alXyn kfrwa mn ahl alktab walm$rkyn mnfkyn Hti tatyhm albyn+ | |||
| 2. * | An apostle from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: | A messenger from GOD is reciting to them sacred instructions. | رسول من الله يتلو صحفا مطهرة | rswl mn allh ytlw SHfa mThr+ | |||
| 3. * | Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. | In them there are valuable teachings. | فيها كتب قيمة | fyha ktb qym+ | |||
| 4. * | Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. | In fact, those who received the scripture did not dispute until the proof was given to them. | وماتفرق الذين اوتوا الكتاب الا من بعد ماجاءتهم البينة | wmatfrq alXyn awtwa alktab ala mn b`d maja'thm albyn+ | |||
| 5. * | And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. | All that was asked of them was to worship GOD, devoting the religion absolutely to Him alone, observe the contact prayers (Salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat). Such is the perfect religion. | وماامروا الا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا الزكاة وذلك دين القيمة | wmaamrwa ala ly`bdwa allh mKlSyn lh aldyn Hnfa' wyqymwa alSla+ wyWtwa alzka+ wXlk dyn alqym+ | |||
| 6. * | Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. | Those who disbelieved among the people of the scripture, and the idol worshipers, have incurred the fire of Gehenna forever. They are the worst creatures. | ان الذين كفروا من اهل الكتاب والمشركين في نار جهنم خالدين فيها اولئك هم شر البرية | an alXyn kfrwa mn ahl alktab walm$rkyn fy nar jhnm Kaldyn fyha awlYk hm $r albry+ | |||
| 7. * | Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures. | Those who believed and led a righteous life are the best creatures. | ان الذين امنوا وعملوا الصالحات اولئك هم خير البرية | an alXyn amnwa w`mlwa alSalHat awlYk hm Kyr albry+ | |||
| 8. * | Their reward is with Allah. Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher. | Their reward at their Lord is the gardens of Eden with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him.
