3.    There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.     There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah.     In Salem is his tent, his resting-place in Zion.

4.    Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.     Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.     There were the arrows of the bow broken, there he put an end to body-cover, sword, and fight. (Selah.)

5.    The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.     Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. 8.    Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,     You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,     You, you are to be feared; who may keep his place before you in the time of your wrath?

9.    When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.     when God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. Selah.     From heaven you gave your decision; the earth, in its fear, gave no sound,

10.    Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.     Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.     When God took his place as judge, for the salvation of the poor on the earth. (Selah.)

11.    Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.     Make vows to Yahweh your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.     The ... will give you praise; the rest of ...

12.    He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.     He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.     Give to the Lord your God what is his by right; let all who are round him give offerings to him who is to be feared.
