ואת־המשכן תעשה עשר יריעת שש משזר ותכלת וארגמן ותלעת שני כרבים מעשה חשב תעשה אתם׃ |
Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them. | "Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman you shall make them. | And you are to make a House for me, with ten curtains of the best linen, blue and purple and red, worked with designs of winged ones by a good workman. | |||

And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. | You shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the edge in the coupling; and likewise you shall make in the edge of the curtain that is outmost in the second coupling. | And you are to put twists of blue cord on the edge of the outside curtain of the first group of five, and on the edge of the outside curtain of the second group of five; | |||

Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. | You shall make fifty loops in the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling. And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle. | You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tent. | Five of these curtains are to be joined together, and the other six are to be joined together, the sixth being folded over to make a hanging in front of the tent. | |||

ועשית חמשים ללאת על שפת היריעה האחת הקיצנה בחברת וחמשים ללאת על שפת היריעה החברת השנית׃ |
And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. | You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is outmost in the second coupling. | And you are to put fifty twists of cord on the edge of the outside curtain of one group, and fifty twists on the edge of the outside curtain of the other group. | |||

ועשית קרסי נחשת חמשים והבאת את־הקרסים בללאת וחברת את־האהל והיה אחד׃ |
And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. | You shall make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. | Then make fifty brass hooks and put the hooks into the twists, joining the tent together to make it one. | |||

וסרח העדף ביריעת האהל חצי היריעה העדפת תסרח על אחרי המשכן׃ |
And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. | The overhanging part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. | And the folded part which is over of the curtains of the tent, the half-curtain which is folded back, will be hanging down over the back of the House. | |||

והאמה מזה והאמה מזה בעדף בארך יריעת האהל יהיה סרוח על־צדי המשכן מזה ומזה לכסתו׃ |
And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. | The cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. | And the cubit which is over of the ten curtains at the sides will be hanging over the two sides of the House as a cover. | |||

ועשית מכסה לאהל ערת אילם מאדמים ומכסה ערת תחשים מלמעלה׃ |
And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins. | You shall make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides above. | And then you are to make a cover for the tent, of sheepskins coloured red, and a cover of leather over that. | |||

ועשית את־הקרשים למשכן עצי שטים עמדים׃ |
And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up. | "You shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up. | And you are to make upright boards of hard wood for the House. | |||

עשר אמות ארך הקרש ואמה וחצי האמה רחב הקרש האחד׃ |
Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. | Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and one and a half cubits the breadth of each board. | Every board is to be ten cubits high and a cubit and a half wide. | |||

שתי ידות לקרש האחד משלבת אשה אל־אחתה כן תעשה לכל קרשי המשכן׃ |
Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. | There shall be two tenons in each board, joined to one another: thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle. | Every board is to be joined to the one nearest to it by two tongues, and so for every board in the House. | |||

ועשית את־הקרשים למשכן עשרים קרש לפאת נגבה תימנה׃ |
And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward. | You shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward. | These are the boards needed for the house; twenty boards for the south side, | |||

וארבעים אדני־כסף תעשה תחת עשרים הקרש שני אדנים תחת־הקרש האחד לשתי ידתיו ושני אדנים תחת־הקרש האחד לשתי ידתיו׃ |
And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons. | You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons. | With forty silver bases under the twenty boards, two bases under every board to take its tongues. | |||

ולצלע המשכן השנית לפאת צפון עשרים קרש׃ |
And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards: | For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards, | And twenty boards for the second side of the house on the north, | |||

ולירכתי המשכן ימה תעשה ששה קרשים׃ |
And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards. | For the far part of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards. | And six boards for the back of the House on the west, | |||

ושני קרשים תעשה למקצעת המשכן בירכתים׃ |
And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides. | You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the far part. | With two boards for the angles of the House at the back. | |||

ויהיו תאמם מלמטה ויחדו יהיו תמים על־ראשו אל־הטבעת האחת כן יהיה לשניהם לשני המקצעת יהיו׃ |
And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. | They shall be double beneath, and in like manner they shall be entire to its top to one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. | The two are to be joined together at the base and at the top to one ring, forming the two angles. | |||

And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, | "You shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, | And make rods of the same wood, five for the boards on the one side, | |||

וחמשה בריחם לקרשי צלע־המשכן השנית וחמשה בריחם לקרשי צלע המשכן לירכתים ימה׃ |
And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward. | and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far part westward. | And five for the boards on the other side of the House, and five for the west side of the House at the back. | |||

והבריח התיכן בתוך הקרשים מברח מן־הקצה אל־הקצה׃ |
And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end. | The middle bar in the midst of the boards shall pass through from end to end. | And the middle rod is to go through the rings of all the boards from end to end. | |||

ואת־הקרשים תצפה זהב ואת־טבעתיהם תעשה זהב בתים לבריחם וצפית את־הבריחם זהב׃ |
And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold. | You shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the bars with gold. | And the boards are to be plated with gold, having gold rings for the rods to go through: and the rods are to be plated with gold. | |||

והקמת את־המשכן כמשפטו אשר הראית בהר׃ |
And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount. | You shall set up the tabernacle according to the way that it was shown to you on the mountain. | And you are to make the House from the design which you saw on the mountain. | |||

ועשית פרכת תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר מעשה חשב יעשה אתה כרבים׃ |
And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: | "You shall make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman shall it be made. | And you are to make a veil of the best linen, blue and purple and red, worked with designs of winged ones by a good workman: | |||

ונתתה אתה על־ארבעה עמודי שטים מצפים זהב וויהם זהב על־ארבעה אדני־כסף׃ |
And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. | You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four sockets of silver. | Hanging it by gold hooks from four pillars of wood, plated with gold and fixed in silver bases. | |||

ונתתה את־הפרכת תחת הקרסים והבאת שמה מבית לפרכת את ארון העדות והבדילה הפרכת לכם בין הקדש ובין קדש הקדשים׃ |
And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. | You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil: and the veil shall separate the holy place from the most holy for you. | And you are to put up the veil under the hooks, and put inside it the ark of the law: the veil is to be a division between the holy place and the most holy. | |||

ונתת את־הכפרת על ארון העדת בקדש הקדשים׃ |
And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. | You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. | You are to put the cover on the ark of the law, inside the most holy place. | |||

ושמת את־השלחן מחוץ לפרכת ואת־המנרה נכח השלחן על צלע המשכן תימנה והשלחן תתן על־צלע צפון׃ |
And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side. | You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and you shall put the table on the north side. | And outside the veil you are to put the table, and the support for the lights opposite the table on the south side of the House; and the table is to be on the north side. | |||

ועשית מסך לפתח האהל תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר מעשה רקם׃ |
And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. | "You shall make a screen for the door of the Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer. | And you are to make a curtain for the doorway of the Tent, of the best linen with needlework of blue and purple and red. | |||

ועשית למסך חמשה עמודי שטים וצפית אתם זהב וויהם זהב ויצקת להם חמשה אדני נחשת׃ |
And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them. | You shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold: their hooks shall be of gold: and you shall cast five sockets of brass for them. | And make five pillars for the curtain, of hard wood plated with gold; their hooks are to be of gold and their bases of brass | |||
