למה תשקלו־כסף בלוא־לחם ויגיעכם בלוא לשבעה שמעו שמוע אלי ואכלו־ טוב ותתענג בדשן נפשכם׃ |

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. | Behold, you shall call a nation that you don't know; and a nation that didn't know you shall run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you." | See, you will send for a nation of which you had no knowledge, and those who had no knowledge of you will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, and because of the Holy One of Israel, for he has given you glory. | |||

יעזב רשע דרכו ואיש און מחשבתיו וישב אל־יהוה וירחמהו ואל־ אלהינו כי־ירבה לסלוח׃ |

כי כאשר ירד הגשם והשלג מן־השמים ושמה לא ישוב כי אם־הרוה את־ הארץ והולידה והצמיחה ונתן זרע לזרע ולחם לאכל׃ |
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: | For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn't return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; | For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and does not go back again, but gives water to the earth, and makes it fertile, giving seed to the planter, and bread for food; | |||

כן יהיה דברי אשר יצא מפי לא־ישוב אלי ריקם כי אם־עשה את־אשר חפצתי והצליח אשר שלחתיו׃ |

תחת הנעצוץ יעלה ברוש תחת הסרפד יעלה הדס והיה ליהוה לשם לאות עולם לא יכרת׃ |
