ובהפילכם את־הארץ בנחלה תרימו תרומה ליהוה קדש מן־הארץ ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף ארך ורחב עשרה אלף קדש־הוא בכל־גבולה סביב׃ |
Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about. | Moreover, when you shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, you shall offer an offering to Yahweh, a holy portion of the land; the length shall be the length of twenty-five thousand [reeds], and the breadth shall be ten thousand: it shall be holy in all its border all around. | And when you are making a distribution of the land, by the decision of the Lord, for your heritage, you are to make an offering to the Lord of a part of the land as holy: it is to be twenty-five thousand long and twenty thousand wide: all the land inside these limits is to be holy. | |||

קדש מן־הארץ הוא לכהנים משרתי המקדש יהיה הקרבים לשרת את־יהוה והיה להם מקום לבתים ומקדש למקדש׃ |
The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary. | It is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to Yahweh; and it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary. | This holy part of the land is to be for the priests, the servants of the holy place, who come near to the Lord to do his work; it is to be a place for their houses and for grass-land and for cattle. | |||

וחמשה ועשרים אלף ארך ועשרת אלפים רחב יהיה ללוים משרתי הבית להם לאחזה עשרים לשכת׃ |
And the five and twenty thousand of length, and the ten thousand of breadth, shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, have for themselves, for a possession for twenty chambers. | Twenty-five thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall be to the Levites, the ministers of the house, for a possession to themselves, [for] twenty chambers. | A space of land twenty-five thousand long and ten thousand wide is to be for the Levites, the servants of the house, a property for themselves, for towns for their living-places. | |||

ולנשיא מזה ומזה לתרומת הקדש ולאחזת העיר אל־פני תרומת־הקדש ואל־ פני אחזת העיר מפאת־ים ימה ומפאת־קדמה קדימה וארך לעמות אחד החלקים מגבול ים אל־גבול קדימה׃ |
And a portion shall be for the prince on the one side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy portion, and of the possession of the city, before the oblation of the holy portion, and before the possession of the city, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward: and the length shall be over against one of the portions, from the west border unto the east border. | [Whatever is] for the prince [shall be] on the one side and on the other side of the holy offering and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy offering and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on the east side eastward; and in length answerable to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border. | And for the ruler there is to be a part on one side and on the other side of the holy offering and of the property of the town, in front of the holy offering and in front of the property of the town on the west of it and on the east: measured in the same line as one of the parts of the land, from its limit on the west to its limit on the east of the land. | |||

לארץ יהיה־לו לאחזה בישראל ולא־יונו עוד נשיאי את־עמי והארץ יתנו לבית־ישראל לשבטיהם׃ |
In the land shall be his possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house of Israel according to their tribes. | In the land it shall be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes. | And this will be his heritage in Israel: and my rulers will no longer be cruel masters to my people; but they will give the land as a heritage to the children of Israel by their tribes. | |||

כה־אמר אדני יהוה רב־לכם נשיאי ישראל חמס ושד הסירו ומשפט וצדקה עשו הרימו גרשתיכם מעל עמי נאם אדני יהוה׃ |
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD. | Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Let it suffice you, princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; dispossessing my people, says the Lord Yahweh. | This is what the Lord has said: Let this be enough for you, O rulers of Israel: let there be an end of violent behaviour and wasting; do what is right, judging uprightly; let there be no more driving out of my people, says the Lord. | |||

מאזני־צדק ואיפת־צדק ובת־צדק יהי לכם׃ |
Ye shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath. | You shall have just balances, and a just ephah,{1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel} and a just bath. | Have true scales and a true ephah and a true bath. | |||

The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of an homer, and the ephah the tenth part of an homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer. | The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer{1 homer is about 220 litres or 6 bushels}, and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: its measure shall be after the homer. | The ephah and the bath are to be of the same measure, so that the bath is equal to a tenth of a homer, and the ephah to a tenth of a homer: the unit of measure is to be a homer. | |||

And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs: twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh. | The shekel shall be twenty gerahs. This is the oblation that ye shall offer; the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of wheat, and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of barley: | This is the offering that you shall offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat; and you shall give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley; | This is the offering you are to give: a sixth of an ephah out of a homer of wheat, and a sixth of an ephah out of a homer of barley; | |||

וחק השמן הבת השמן מעשר הבת מן־הכר עשרת הבתים חמר כי־עשרת הבתים חמר׃ |
Concerning the ordinance of oil, the bath of oil, ye shall offer the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, which is an homer of ten baths; for ten baths are an homer: | and the set portion of oil, of the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, [which is] ten baths, even a homer; (for ten baths are a homer;) | And the fixed measure of oil is to be a tenth of a bath from the cor, for ten baths make up the cor; | |||

ושה־אחת מן־הצאן מן־המאתים ממשקה ישראל למנחה ולעולה ולשלמים לכפר עליהם נאם אדני יהוה׃ |
And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD. | and one lamb of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel--for a meal offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make atonement for them, says the Lord Yahweh. | And one lamb from the flock out of every two hundred, from all the families of Israel, for a meal offering and for a burned offering and for peace-offerings, to take away their sin, says the Lord. | |||

כל העם הארץ יהיו אל־התרומה הזאת לנשיא בישראל׃ |
All the people of the land shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel. | All the people of the land shall give to this offering for the prince in Israel. | All the people are to give this offering to the ruler. | |||

ועל־הנשיא יהיה העולות והמנחה והנסך בחגים ובחדשים ובשבתות בכל־ מועדי בית ישראל הוא־יעשה את־החטאת ואת־המנחה ואת־העולה ואת־ השלמים לכפר בעד בית־ישראל׃ |
And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel. | It shall be the prince's part to give the burnt offerings, and the meal offerings, and the drink offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the Sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meal offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel. | And the ruler will be responsible for the burned offering and the meal offering and the drink offering, at the feasts and the new moons and the Sabbaths, at all the fixed feasts of the children of Israel: he will give the sin-offering and meal offering and burned offering and the peace-offerings, to take away the sin of the children of Israel. | |||

כה־אמר אדני יהוה בראשון באחד לחדש תקח פר־בן־בקר תמים וחטאת את־המקדש׃ |
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary: | Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary. | This is what the Lord has said: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young ox without any mark on him, and you are to make the holy place clean. | |||

ולקח הכהן מדם החטאת ונתן אל־מזוזת הבית ואל־ארבע פנות העזרה למזבח ועל־מזוזת שער החצר הפנימית׃ |
And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court. | The priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it on the door posts of the house, and on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court. | And the priest is to take some of the blood of the sin-offering and put it on the uprights at the sides of the doors of the house, and on the four angles of the shelf of the altar, and on the sides of the doorway of the inner square. | |||

וכן תעשה בשבעה בחדש מאיש שגה ומפתי וכפרתם את־הבית׃ |
And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house. | So you shall do on the seventh [day] of the month for everyone who errs, and for him who is simple: so you shall make atonement for the house. | And this you are to do on the seventh day of the month for everyone who is in error and for the feeble-minded: you are to make the house free from sin. | |||

בראשון בארבעה עשר יום לחדש יהיה לכם הפסח חג שבעות ימים מצות יאכל׃ |

ועשה הנשיא ביום ההוא בעדו ובעד כל־עם הארץ פר חטאת׃ |
And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering. | On that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering. | And on that day the ruler is to give for himself and for all the people of the land an ox for a sin-offering. | |||

ושבעת ימי־החג יעשה עולה ליהוה שבעת פרים ושבעת אילים תמימם ליום שבעת הימים וחטאת שעיר עזים ליום׃ |
And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering. | The seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to Yahweh, seven bulls and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a male goat daily for a sin offering. | And on the seven days of the feast he is to give a burned offering to the Lord, seven oxen and seven sheep without any mark on them, every day for seven days; and a he-goat every day for a sin-offering. | |||
