וזאת תורת האשם קדש קדשים הוא׃ |
Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy. | "'This is the law of the trespass offering. It is most holy. | And this is the law of the offering for wrongdoing: it is most holy. | |||

במקום אשר ישחטו את־העלה ישחטו את־האשם ואת־דמו יזרק על־המזבח סביב׃ |
In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar. | In the place where they kill the burnt offering, he shall kill the trespass offering; and its blood he shall sprinkle around on the altar. | They are to put to death the offering for wrongdoing in the same place as the burned offering; and the priest is to put the blood on and round the altar. | |||

ואת כל־חלבו יקריב ממנו את האליה ואת־החלב המכסה את־הקרב׃ |
And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, | He shall offer all of its fat: the fat tail, and the fat that covers the innards, | And all the fat of it, the fat tail and the fat covering the inside parts, is to be given as an offering. | |||

ואת שתי הכלית ואת־החלב אשר עליהן אשר על־הכסלים ואת־היתרת על־ הכבד על־הכלית יסירנה׃ |
And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away: | and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away; | And the two kidneys, and the fat on them, which is by the top of the legs, and the fat joining the liver and the kidneys, he is to take away: | |||

והקטיר אתם הכהן המזבחה אשה ליהוה אשם הוא׃ |
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering. | and the priest shall burn them on the altar for an offering made by fire to Yahweh: it is a trespass offering. | They are to be burned by the priest on the altar for an offering made by fire to the Lord: it is an offering for wrongdoing. | |||

כל־זכר בכהנים יאכלנו במקום קדוש יאכל קדש קדשים הוא׃ |
Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy. | Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy. | Every male among the priests may have it as food in a holy place: it is most holy. | |||

כחטאת כאשם תורה אחת להם הכהן אשר יכפר־בו לו יהיה׃ |
As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it. | "'As is the sin offering, so is the trespass offering; there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with them shall have it. | As is the sin-offering, so is the offering for wrongdoing; there is one law for them: the priest who makes the offering to take away sin, he is to have it. | |||

והכהן המקריב את־עלת איש עור העלה אשר הקריב לכהן לו יהיה׃ |
And the priest that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered. | The priest who offers any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered. | And the priest offering any man's burned offering for him, may have the skin of the burned offering which is offered by him. | |||

וכל־מנחה אשר תאפה בתנור וכל־נעשה במרחשת ועל־מחבת לכהן המקריב אתה לו תהיה׃ |
And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it. | Every meal offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the pan, and on the griddle, shall be the priest's who offers it. | And every meal offering which is cooked in the oven and everything made in a cooking pot or on a flat plate, is for the priest by whom it is offered. | |||

וכל־מנחה בלולה־בשמן וחרבה לכל־בני אהרן תהיה איש כאחיו׃ |
And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another. | Every meal offering, mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, one as well as another. | And every meal offering, mixed with oil or dry, is for all the sons of Aaron in equal measure. | |||

וזאת תורת זבח השלמים אשר יקריב ליהוה׃ |
And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD. | "'This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to Yahweh. | And this is the law for the peace-offerings offered to the Lord. | |||

אם על־תודה יקריבנו והקריב על־זבח התודה חלות מצות בלולת בשמן ורקיקי מצות משחים בשמן וסלת מרבכת חלת בלולת בשמן׃ |
If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried. | If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil. | If any man gives his offering as a praise-offering, then let him give with the offering, unleavened cakes mixed with oil and thin unleavened cakes covered with oil and cakes of the best meal well mixed with oil. | |||

על־חלת לחם חמץ יקריב קרבנו על־זבח תודת שלמיו׃ |
Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings. | With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving. | With his peace-offering let him give cakes of leavened bread, as a praise-offering. | |||

והקריב ממנו אחד מכל־קרבן תרומה ליהוה לכהן הזרק את־דם השלמים לו יהיה׃ |
And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings. | Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a heave offering to Yahweh. It shall be the priest's who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings. | And let him give one out of every offering to be lifted up before the Lord; that it may be for the priest who puts the blood of the peace-offering on the altar. | |||

ובשר זבח תודת שלמיו ביום קרבנו יאכל לא־יניח ממנו עד־בקר׃ |
And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning. | The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning. | And the flesh of the praise-offering is to be taken as food on the day when it is offered; no part of it may be kept till the morning. | |||

ואם־נדר או נדבה זבח קרבנו ביום הקריבו את־זבחו יאכל וממחרת והנותר ממנו יאכל׃ |
But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten: | "'But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten: | But if his offering is made because of an oath or given freely, it may be taken as food on the day when it is offered; and the rest may be used up on the day after: | |||

והנותר מבשר הזבח ביום השלישי באש ישרף׃ |
But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire. | but what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire. | But if any of the flesh of the offering is still unused on the third day, it is to be burned with fire. | |||

ואם האכל יאכל מבשר־זבח שלמיו ביום השלישי לא ירצה המקריב אתו לא יחשב לו פגול יהיה והנפש האכלת ממנו עונה תשא׃ |
And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity. | If any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed to him who offers it. It will be an abomination, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity. | And if any of the flesh of the peace-offering is taken as food on the third day, it will not be pleasing to God and will not be put to the account of him who gives it; it will be unclean and a cause of sin to him who takes it as food. | |||

והבשר אשר־יגע בכל־טמא לא יאכל באש ישרף והבשר כל־טהור יאכל בשר׃ |
And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof. | "'The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. As for the flesh, everyone who is clean may eat it; | And flesh touched by any unclean thing may not be taken for food: it is to be burned with fire; and as for the flesh of the peace-offerings, everyone who is clean may take it as food: | |||

והנפש אשר־תאכל בשר מזבח השלמים אשר ליהוה וטמאתו עליו ונכרתה הנפש ההוא מעמיה׃ |
But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. | but the soul who eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that belongs to Yahweh, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from his people. | But he who is unclean when he takes as food the flesh of the peace-offerings, which are the Lord's, will be cut off from his people. | |||

ונפש כי־תגע בכל־טמא בטמאת אדם או בבהמה טמאה או בכל־שקץ טמא ואכל מבשר־זבח השלמים אשר ליהוה ונכרתה הנפש ההוא מעמיה׃ |
Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. | When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination, and eats some of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which belong to Yahweh, that soul shall be cut off from his people.'" | And anyone who, after touching any unclean thing of man or an unclean beast or any unclean and disgusting thing, takes as food the flesh of the peace-offerings, which are the Lord's, will be cut off from his people. | |||

וידבר יהוה אל־משה לאמר׃ |
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, | Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, | And the Lord said to Moses, | |||

דבר אל־בני ישראל לאמר כל־חלב שור וכשב ועז לא תאכלו׃ |
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat. | "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat. | Say to the children of Israel: You are not to take any fat, of ox or sheep or goat, for food. | |||

וחלב נבלה וחלב טרפה יעשה לכל־מלאכה ואכל לא תאכלהו׃ |
And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it. | The fat of that which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you shall in no way eat of it. | And the fat of that which comes to a natural death, and the fat of that which is attacked by beasts, may be used for other purposes, but not in any way for food. | |||

כי כל־אכל חלב מן־הבהמה אשר יקריב ממנה אשה ליהוה ונכרתה הנפש האכלת מעמיה׃ |
For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people. | For whoever eats the fat of the animal, of which men offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh, even the soul who eats it shall be cut off from his people. | For anyone who takes as food the fat of any beast of which men make an offering by fire to the Lord, will be cut off from his people. | |||

וכל־דם לא תאכלו בכל מושבתיכם לעוף ולבהמה׃ |
Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings. | You shall not eat any blood, whether it is of bird or of animal, in any of your dwellings. | And you are not to take for food any blood, of bird or of beast, in any of your houses. | |||

כל־נפש אשר־תאכל כל־דם ונכרתה הנפש ההוא מעמיה׃ |
Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. | Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul shall be cut off from his people.'" | Whoever takes any blood for food will be cut off from his people. | |||

וידבר יהוה אל־משה לאמר׃ |
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, | Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, | And the Lord said to Moses, | |||

דבר אל־בני ישראל לאמר המקריב את־זבח שלמיו ליהוה יביא את־ קרבנו ליהוה מזבח שלמיו׃ |
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings. | "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'He who offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to Yahweh shall bring his offering to Yahweh out of the sacrifice of his peace offerings. | Say to the children of Israel: He who makes a peace-offering to the Lord, is to give an offering to the Lord out of his peace-offering: | |||

ידיו תביאינה את אשי יהוה את־החלב על־החזה יביאנו את החזה להניף אתו תנופה לפני יהוה׃ |
His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD. | With his own hands he shall bring the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before Yahweh. | He himself is to take to the Lord the offering made by fire, even the fat with the breast, so that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord. | |||

והקטיר הכהן את־החלב המזבחה והיה החזה לאהרן ולבניו׃ |
And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'. | The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'. | And the fat is to be burned by the priest on the altar, but the breast is for Aaron and his sons. | |||

ואת שוק הימין תתנו תרומה לכהן מזבחי שלמיכם׃ |
And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. | The right thigh you shall give to the priest for a heave offering out of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. | And the right leg you are to give to the priest for an offering to be lifted up out of what is given for your peace-offerings. | |||

המקריב את־דם השלמים ואת־החלב מבני אהרן לו תהיה שוק הימין למנה׃ |
He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part. | He among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right thigh for a portion. | That man, among the sons of Aaron, by whom the blood of the peace-offering and the fat are offered, is to have the right leg for his part. | |||

כי את־חזה התנופה ואת שוק התרומה לקחתי מאת בני־ישראל מזבחי שלמיהם ואתן אתם לאהרן הכהן ולבניו לחק־עולם מאת בני ישראל׃ |
For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel. | For the waved breast and the heaved thigh I have taken from the children of Israel out of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their portion forever from the children of Israel.'" | For the breast which is waved and the right leg which is lifted up on high I have taken from the children of Israel, from their peace-offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their right for ever from the children of Israel. | |||

זאת משחת אהרן ומשחת בניו מאשי יהוה ביום הקריב אתם לכהן ליהוה׃ |
This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office; | This is the anointing portion of Aaron, and the anointing portion of his sons, out of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister to Yahweh in the priest's office; | This is the holy part given to Aaron and to his sons, out of the offerings made to the Lord by fire, on the day when they were made priests before the Lord; | |||

אשר צוה יהוה לתת להם ביום משחו אתם מאת בני ישראל חקת עולם לדרתם׃ |
Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations. | which Yahweh commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them. It is their portion forever throughout their generations. | Which the Lord said the children of Israel were to give them, on the day when he made them his priests. It is their right for ever from generation to generation. | |||

זאת התורה לעלה למנחה ולחטאת ולאשם ולמלואים ולזבח השלמים׃ |
This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings; | This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meal offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecration, and of the sacrifice of peace offerings; | These are the laws for the burned offering, the meal offering, and the offering for wrongdoing; and for the making of priests, and for the giving of peace-offerings; | |||

אשר צוה יהוה את־משה בהר סיני ביום צותו את־בני ישראל להקריב את־קרבניהם ליהוה במדבר סיני׃ |
Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai. | which Yahweh commanded Moses in Mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their offerings to Yahweh, in the wilderness of Sinai. | As they were given by the Lord to Moses on Mount Sinai, on the day when the Lord gave orders to the children of Israel to make their offerings to the Lord, in the waste land of Sinai. | |||
