| 3. | and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places. | And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. |

VHVThUrThY BHYVTh LKM PhLYTY ChUrB BGVYM BHZUrVThYKM B'aUrTShVTh. | And I have caused some to remain, In their being to you the escaped of the sword among nations, In your being scattered through lands. | et relinquam in vobis eos qui fugerint gladium in gentibus cum dispersero vos in terris | |||||
| 9. | Those of you that escape shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. | And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. |

כה־אמר אדני יהוה הכה בכפך ורקע ברגלך ואמר־אח אל כל־תועבות רעות בית ישראל אשר בחרב ברעב ובדבר יפלו׃ |

וידעתם כי־אני יהוה בהיות חלליהם בתוך גלוליהם סביבות מזבחותיהם אל כל־גבעה רמה בכל ראשי ההרים ותחת כל־עץ רענן ותחת כל־ אלה עבתה מקום אשר נתנו־שם ריח ניחח לכל גלוליהם׃ |
VYD'yThM KY-'aNY YHVH BHYVTh ChLLYHM BThVK GLVLYHM SBYBVTh MZBChVThYHM 'aL KL-GB'yH UrMH BKL Ur'aShY HHUrYM VThChTh KL-'yTSh Ur'yNN VThChTh KL- 'aLH 'yBThH MQVM 'aShUr NThNV-ShM UrYCh NYChCh LKL GLVLYHM. | And ye have known that I am Jehovah, In their wounded being in the midst of their idols, Round about their altars, On every high hill, on all tops of mountains, And under every green tree, and under every thick oak, The place where they gave sweet fragrance to all their idols. | et scietis quia ego Dominus cum fuerint interfecti vestri in medio idolorum vestrorum in circuitu ararum vestrarum in omni colle excelso in cunctis summitatibus montium et subtus omne lignum nemorosum et subtus universam quercum frondosam locum ubi accenderunt tura redolentia universis idolis suis | |||||
