And removed from thee thy burden
|
|
and lifted from thee the burden
|
|
And We raised from you your sin/load/burden.

The which did gall thy back?-
|
|
that had weighed so heavily on thy back?*
|
|
Which weighed heavily (on)/burdened your back.

|

And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?
|
|
And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity?*
|
|
And We raised for you your memory/reputation.
|
|

So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
|
|
And, behold, with every hardship comes ease:
|
|
So that truly with the difficulty/hardship (is) ease/flexibility.

Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,
|
|
Hence, when thou art freed [from distress], remain steadfast,
|
|
So when/if you finished/ended/completed, so work hard/fatigue.

And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
|

and unto thy Sustainer turn with love.

And to your Lord, so wish/desire.
