1.  *     I do call to witness this City;-     I solemnly swear by this town.     I do not swear/make oath with that, the country/land.     swr+ albld  bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? laaqsm bhXa albld
 
2.  *     And thou art a freeman of this City;-     The town where you live.     And you are placed in/occupying (residing) at this, the country/land.     want Hl bhXa albld
 
3.  *     And (the mystic ties of) parent and child;-     The begetting and the begotten.     And a father and what he gave birth (to)/procreated.     wwald wmawld
 
4.  *     Verily We have created man into toil and struggle.     We created the human being to work hard (to redeem himself).     We had created the human/mankind in hardship.     lqd Klqna alansan fy kbd
 
5.  *     Thinketh he, that none hath power over him?     Does he think that no one will ever call him to account?     Does he think/suppose that no one is capable/over powering on (over) him?     ayHsb an ln yqdr `lyh aHd
 
6.  *     He may say (boastfully); Wealth have I squandered in abundance!     He boasts, "I spent so much money!"     He says: "I destroyed/wasted plenty property/possession/wealth."     yqwl ahlkt mala lbda
 
7.  *     Thinketh he that none beholdeth him?     Does he think that no one sees him?     Does he think/suppose that (E) no one sees him?     ayHsb an lm yrh aHd
 
8.  *     Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?-     Did we not give him two eyes?     Did We not make/create for him two eyes?     alm nj`l lh `ynyn
 
9.  *     And a tongue, and a pair of lips?-     A tongue and two lips?     And a tongue, and two lips?     wlsana w$ftyn
 
10.  *     And shown him the two highways?     Did we not show him the two paths?     And We guided him (to) the two paths/good or bad ?     whdynah alnjdyn
 
11.  *     But he hath made no haste on the path that is steep.     He should choose the difficult path.     So he did not rush/force (himself) into the high mountain path/road ?     fla aqtHm al`qb+
 
12.  *     And what will explain to thee the path that is steep?-     Which one is the difficult path?     And what made you know/informed you what the high mountain path/road (is) ?     wmaadrak maal`qb+
 
13.  *     (It is:) freeing the bondman;     The freeing of slaves.     Releasing/freeing a neck/person/slave.     fk rqb+
 
14.  *     Or the giving of food in a day of privation     Feeding, during the time of hardship.     Or feeding in a day/time of hunger/starvation/famine.     aw aT`am fy ywm Xy msGb+
 
15.  *     To the orphan with claims of relationship,     Orphans who are related.     An orphan of a relation/near/close.     ytyma Xa mqrb+
 
16.  *     Or to the indigent (down) in the dust.     Or the poor who is in need.     Or a poorest of poor/poor oppressed of poverty.     aw mskyna Xa mtrb+
 
17.  *     Then will he be of those who believe, and enjoin patience, (constancy, and self-restraint), and enjoin deeds of kindness and compassion.     And being one of those who believe, and exhorting one another to be steadfast, and exhorting one another to be kind.     Then he was from those who believed and directed/commanded each other with the patience, and directed/commanded each other with the mercy/compassion.     xm kan mn alXyn amnwa wtwaSwa balSbr wtwaSwa balmrHm+
 
18.  *     Such are the Companions of the Right Hand.     These have deserved happiness.     Those are the blessings'/right's (side's/hand's) owners/friends/company.     awlYk aSHab almymn+
 
19.  *     But those who reject Our Signs, they are the (unhappy) Companions of the Left Hand.     As for those who disbelieved in our revelations, they have incurred misery.     And those who disbelieved with Our verses/evidences, they are the bad omen's/left side's owners/friends/company.     walXyn kfrwa bayatna hm aSHab alm$Ym+
 
20.  *     On them will be Fire vaulted over (all round).     They will be confined in the Hellfire.     Stationary/residing fire (is) on them.     `lyhm nar mWSd+
