| 28. | αποκριθεις δε αυτω ο πετρος ειπεν κυριε ει συ ει κελευσον με ελθειν προς σε επι τα υδατα | And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. | Peter answered him and said, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters." | And Peter, answering, said to him, Lord, if it is you, give me the order to come to you on the water. | |||
| 29. | ο δε ειπεν ελθε και καταβας απο του πλοιου [ο] πετρος περιεπατησεν επι τα υδατα και ηλθεν προς τον ιησουν | And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. | He said, "Come!" Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. | And he said, Come. And Peter got out of the boat, and walking on the water, went to Jesus. | |||
| 30. | βλεπων δε τον ανεμον [ισχυρον] εφοβηθη και αρξαμενος καταποντιζεσθαι εκραξεν λεγων κυριε σωσον με | But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. | But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" | But when he saw the wind he was in fear and, starting to go down, he gave a cry, saying, Help, Lord. | |||
| 31. | ευθεως δε ο ιησους εκτεινας την χειρα επελαβετο αυτου και λεγει αυτω ολιγοπιστε εις τι εδιστασας | And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? | Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" | And straight away Jesus put out his hand and took a grip of him, and said to him, O man of little faith, why were you in doubt? | |||
| 32. | και αναβαντων αυτων εις το πλοιον εκοπασεν ο ανεμος | And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. | When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased. | And when they had got into the boat, the wind went down. | |||

| 35. | και επιγνοντες αυτον οι ανδρες του τοπου εκεινου απεστειλαν εις ολην την περιχωρον εκεινην και προσηνεγκαν αυτω παντας τους κακως εχοντας | And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; | When the people of that place recognized him, they sent into all that surrounding region, and brought to him all who were sick, | And when the men of that place had news of him, they sent into all the country round about, and took to him all who were ill, | |||
| 36. | και παρεκαλουν αυτον ινα μονον αψωνται του κρασπεδου του ιματιου αυτου και οσοι ηψαντο διεσωθησαν | And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. | and they begged him that they might just touch the fringe{or, tassel} of his garment. As many as touched it were made whole. | With the request that they might only put their hands on the edge of his robe: and all those who did so were made well. | |||
