וככלות כל־זאת יצאו כל־ישראל הנמצאים לערי יהודה וישברו המצבות ויגדעו האשרים וינתצו את־הבמות ואת־המזבחת מכל־יהודה ובנימן ובאפרים ומנשה עד־לכלה וישובו כל־בני ישראל איש לאחזתו לעריהם׃ |
Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. מלבד התיחשם לזכרים מבן שלוש שנים ולמעלה לכל־הבא לבית־יהוה לדבר־יום ביומו לעבודתם במשמרותם כמחלקותיהם׃ |
Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their courses; | besides those who were reckoned by genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even everyone who entered into the house of Yahweh, as the duty of every day required, for their service in their offices according to their divisions; | As well as to all the males, of three years old and over, listed by their families, who went into the house of the Lord to do what was needed day by day, for their special work with their divisions. | |||

ואת התיחש הכהנים לבית אבותיהם והלוים מבן עשרים שנה ולמעלה במשמרותיהם במחלקותיהם׃ |
Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses; | and those who were reckoned by genealogy of the priests by their fathers' houses, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their offices by their divisions; | And the families of the priests were listed by their fathers' names, but the Levites, of twenty years old and over, were listed in relation to their work in their divisions; | |||

ולהתיחש בכל־טפם נשיהם ובניהם ובנותיהם לכל־קהל כי באמונתם יתקדשו־קדש׃ |
And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness: | and those who were reckoned by genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their office of trust they sanctified themselves in holiness. | And in the lists were all their little ones and their wives and their sons and daughters, through all the people: they made themselves holy in the positions which they were given. | |||
