למען ציון לא אחשה ולמען ירושלם לא אשקוט עד־יצא כנגה צדקה וישועתה כלפיד יבער׃ |

והיית עטרת תפארת ביד־יהוה וצנוף מלוכה בכף־אלהיך׃ |

לא־יאמר לך עוד עזובה ולארצך לא־יאמר עוד שממה כי לך יקרא חפצי־ בה ולארצך בעולה כי־חפץ יהוה בך וארצך תבעל׃ |

על־חומתיך ירושלם הפקדתי שמרים כל־היום וכל־הלילה תמיד לא יחשו המזכרים את־יהוה אל־דמי לכם׃ |

ואל־תתנו דמי לו עד־יכונן ועד־ישים את־ירושלם תהלה בארץ׃ |
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. | and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. | And give him no rest, till he puts Jerusalem in her place to be praised in the earth. | |||

נשבע יהוה בימינו ובזרוע עזו אם־אתן את־דגנך עוד מאכל לאיביך ואם־ישתו בני־נכר תירושך אשר יגעת בו׃ |
The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: | Yahweh has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, "Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and foreigners shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored: | The Lord has taken an oath by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Truly, I will no longer give your grain to be food for your haters; and men of strange countries will not take the wine for which your work has been done: | |||

כי מאספיו יאכלהו והללו את־יהוה ומקבציו ישתהו בחצרות קדשי׃ |
But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. | but those who have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Yahweh; and those who have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary." | But those who have got in the grain will have it for their food, and will give praise to the Lord; and those who have got in the grapes will take the wine of them in the open places of my holy house. | |||

עברו עברו בשערים פנו דרך העם סלו סלו המסלה סקלו מאבן הרימו נס על־העמים׃ |

הנה יהוה השמיע אל־קצה הארץ אמרו לבת־ציון הנה ישעך בא הנה שכרו אתו ופעלתו לפניו׃ |
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. | Behold, Yahweh has proclaimed to the end of the earth, "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your salvation comes.
