פרשתי ידי כל־היום אל־עם סורר ההלכים הדרך לא־טוב אחר מחשבתיהם׃ |

A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; | a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks; | A people who make me angry every day, making offerings in gardens, and burning perfumes on bricks. | |||

הישבים בקברים ובנצורים ילינו האכלים בשר החזיר ופרק פגלים כליהם׃ |
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; | who sit among the graves, and lodge in the secret places; who eat pig's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; | Who are seated in the resting-places of the dead, and by night are in the secret places; who take pig's flesh for food, and have the liquid of disgusting things in their vessels. | |||

ומניתי אתכם לחרב וכלכם לטבח תכרעו יען קראתי ולא עניתם דברתי ולא שמעתם ותעשו הרע בעיני ובאשר לא־חפצתי בחרתם׃ |

והנחתם שמכם לשבועה לבחירי והמיתך אדני יהוה ולעבדיו יקרא שם אחר׃ |
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name: | You shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Yahweh will kill you; and he will call his servants by another name: | And your name will become a curse to my people, and the Lord God will put you to death, and give his servants another name: | |||

אשר המתברך בארץ יתברך באלהי אמן והנשבע בארץ ישבע באלהי אמן כי נשכחו הצרות הראשנות וכי נסתרו מעיני׃ |
