ויביאני אל־ההיכל וימד את־האילים שש־אמות רחב־מפו ושש־אמות־רחב מפו רחב האהל׃ |

והצלעות צלע אל־צלע שלוש ושלשים פעמים ובאות בקיר אשר־לבית לצלעות סביב סביב להיות אחוזים ולא־יהיו אחוזים בקיר הבית׃ |
And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house. | The side chambers were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side chambers all around, that they might have hold [therein], and not have hold in the wall of the house. | And the side-rooms, room over room, were three times thirty; there were inlets in the wall of the house for the side-rooms round about, for supports in the wall of the house. | |||

ורחבה ונסבה למעלה למעלה לצלעות כי מוסב־הבית למעלה למעלה סביב סביב לבית על־כן רחב־לבית למעלה וכן התחתונה יעלה על־העליונה לתיכונה׃ |
And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst. | The side chambers were broader as they encompassed [the house] higher and higher; for the encompassing of the house went higher and higher around the house: therefore the breadth of the house [continued] upward; and so one went up [from] the lowest [chamber] to the highest by the middle [chamber]. | The side-rooms became wider as they went higher up the house, by the amount of the space let into the wall up round about the house, because of the inlets in the house; and one went up from the lowest floor by steps to the middle, and from the middle to the upper floor. | |||

וראיתי לבית גבה סביב סביב מיסדות הצלעות מלו הקנה שש אמות אצילה׃ |
I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. | I saw also that the house had a raised base all around: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. | And I saw that the house had a stone floor all round; the bases of the side-rooms were a full rod of six great cubits high. | |||

רחב הקיר אשר־לצלע אל־החוץ חמש אמות ואשר מנח בית צלעות אשר לבית׃ |
The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within. | The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chambers, on the outside, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that belonged to the house. | The wall supporting the side-rooms on the outside was five cubits thick: and there was a free space of five cubits between the side-rooms of the house. | |||

ובין הלשכות רחב עשרים אמה סביב לבית סביב סביב׃ |
And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side. | Between the chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits around the house on every side. | And between the rooms was a space twenty cubits wide all round the house. | |||

ופתח הצלע למנח פתח אחד דרך הצפון ופתח אחד לדרום ורחב מקום המנח חמש אמות סביב סביב׃ |
And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about. | The doors of the side chambers were toward [the place] that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits all around. | And the free space had doors opening from the side-rooms, one door on the north and one door on the south: and the free space was five cubits wide all round. | |||

ומדד ארך־הבנין אל־פני הגזרה אשר על־אחריה ואתוקיהא מפו ומפו מאה אמה וההיכל הפנימי ואלמי החצר׃ |
And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court; | He measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at its back, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, one hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court; | And he took the measure of the building in front of the separate place which was at the back of it, and the pillared walks on one side and on the other side; they were a hundred cubits long; and the Temple and the inner part and its outer covered way were covered in; | |||

הספים והחלונים האטמות והאתיקים סביב לשלשתם נגד הסף שחיף עץ סביב סביב והארץ עד־החלנות והחלנות מכסות׃ |
The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered; | the thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries around on their three stories, over against the threshold, with wood ceilings all around, and [from] the ground up to the windows, (now the windows were covered), | And the sloping windows and the covered ways round all three of them were of shakiph-wood all round from the level of the earth up to the windows; | |||

על־מעל הפתח ועד־הבית הפנימי ולחוץ ואל־כל־הקיר סביב סביב בפנימי ובחיצון מדות׃ |
To that above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure. | to [the space] above the door, even to the inner house, and outside, and by all the wall all around inside and outside, by measure. | And there was a roof over the doorway and as far as the inner house, and to the outside and on the wall all round, inside and outside. | |||

And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces; | It was made with cherubim and palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces; | And it had pictured forms of winged beings and palm-trees; a palm-tree between two winged ones, and every winged one had two faces; | |||

ופני אדם אל־התמרה מפו ופני־כפיר אל־התמרה מפו עשוי אל־כל־הבית סביב סביב׃ |
So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about. | so that there was the face of a man toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side. [thus was it] made through all the house all around: | So that there was the face of a man turned to the palm-tree on one side, and the face of a young lion on the other side: so it was made all round the house. | |||

מהארץ עד־מעל הפתח הכרובים והתמרים עשוים וקיר ההיכל׃ |
From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple. | from the ground to above the door were cherubim and palm trees made: thus was the wall of the temple. | From earth level up to the windows there were winged ones and palm-trees pictured on the wall. | |||

ההיכל מזוזת רבעה ופני הקדש המראה כמראה׃ |
The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other. | As for the temple, the door posts were squared; and as for the face of the sanctuary, the appearance [of it] was as the appearance [of the temple]. | ... | |||

המזבח עץ שלוש אמות גבה וארכו שתים־אמות ומקצעותיו לו וארכו וקירתיו עץ וידבר אלי זה השלחן אשר לפני יהוה׃ |

ועשויה אליהן אל־דלתות ההיכל כרובים ותמרים כאשר עשוים לקירות ועב עץ אל־פני האולם מהחוץ׃ |
And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without. | There were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm trees, like as were made on the walls; and there was a threshold of wood on the face of the porch outside. | And on them were pictured winged ones and palm-trees, as on the walls; and a ... of wood was on the front of the covered way outside. | |||
