1.    {For the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm.} Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!     Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:     למנצח  שיר  מזמור 
הריעו  לאלהים
כל־הארץ׃
    LMNTShCh ShYUr MZMVUr HUrY'yV L'aLHYM KL-H'aUrTSh.     To the Overseer. -- A Song, a Psalm. Shout ye to God, all the earth.     victori canticum psalmi iubilate Deo omnis terra
 
2.    Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise!     Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.     זמרו  כבוד־שמו 
שימו  כבוד  תהלתו׃
    ZMUrV KBVD-ShMV ShYMV KBVD ThHLThV.     Praise ye the honour of His name, Make ye honourable His praise.     cantate gloriam nomini eius date gloriam laudi eius
 
3.    Tell God, "How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.     Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.     אמרו  לאלהים 
מה־נורא  מעשיך  ברב
עזך  יכחשו  לך
איביך׃
    'aMUrV L'aLHYM MH-NVUr'a M'yShYK BUrB 'yZK YKChShV LK 'aYBYK.     Say to God, `How fearful are Thy works, By the abundance of Thy strength, Thine enemies feign obedience to Thee.     dicite Deo quam terribile opus tuum in multitudine fortitudinis tuae mentientur tibi inimici tui
 
4.    All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name." Selah.     All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.     כל־הארץ  ישתחוו  לך 
ויזמרו־לך  יזמרו
שמך  סלה׃
    KL-H'aUrTSh YShThChVV LK VYZMUrV-LK YZMUrV ShMK SLH.     All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.` Selah.     omnis terra adoret te et cantet tibi cantet nomini tuo semper
 
5.    Come, and see God's deeds-- awesome work on behalf of the children of men.     Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.     לכו  וראו  מפעלות 
אלהים  נורא  עלילה
על־בני  אדם׃
    LKV VUr'aV MPh'yLVTh 'aLHYM NVUr'a 'yLYLH 'yL-BNY 'aDM.     Come ye, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.     venite et videte opera Dei terribilia consilia super filiis hominum
 
6.    He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him.     He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.     הפך  ים  ליבשה  בנהר

נשמחה־בו׃
    HPhK YM LYBShH BNHUr Y'yBUrV BUrGL ShM NShMChH-BV.     He hath turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There do we rejoice in Him.     convertit mare in aridam in flumine pertransibunt pede ibi laetabimur in eo
 
7.    He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don't let the rebellious rise up against him. Selah.     He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.     משל  בגבורתו  עולם 
עיניו  בגוים
תצפינה  הסוררים
אל־ירימו  למו  סלה׃
    MShL BGBVUrThV 'yVLM 'yYNYV BGVYM ThTShPhYNH HSVUrUrYM 'aL-YUrYMV LMV SLH.     Ruling by His might to the age, His eyes among the nations do watch, The refractory exalt not themselves. Selah.     qui dominatur in fortitudine sua saeculo oculi eius gentes aspiciunt qui increduli sunt non exaltentur in semet ipsis semper
 
8.    Praise our God, you peoples! Make the sound of his praise heard,     O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:     ברכו  עמים  אלהינו 
והשמיעו  קול
תהלתו׃
    BUrKV 'yMYM 'aLHYNV VHShMY'yV QVL ThHLThV.     Bless, ye peoples, our God, And sound the voice of His praise,     benedicite populi Deo nostro et auditam facite vocem laudis eius
 
9.    who preserves our life among the living, and doesn't allow our feet to be moved.     Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.     השם  נפשנו  בחיים 
ולא־נתן  למוט
רגלנו׃
    HShM NPhShNV BChYYM VL'a-NThN LMVT UrGLNV.     Who hath placed our soul in life, And suffered not our feet to be moved.     qui posuit animam nostram in vitam et non dedit in commotione pedes nostros
 
10.    For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.     For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.     כי־בחנתנו  אלהים 
צרפתנו  כצרף־כסף׃
    KY-BChNThNV 'aLHYM TShUrPhThNV KTShUrPh-KSPh.     For Thou hast tried us, O God, Thou hast refined us as the refining of silver.     probasti enim nos Deus igne nos conflasti sicut conflatur argentum
 
11.    You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.     Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.     הבאתנו  במצודה  שמת 
מועקה  במתנינו׃
    HB'aThNV BMTShVDH ShMTh MV'yQH BMThNYNV.     Thou hast brought us into a net, Thou hast placed pressure on our loins.     introduxisti nos in obsidione posuisti stridorem in dorso nostro
 
12.    You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.     Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.     הרכבת  אנוש  לראשנו 
באנו־באש  ובמים
ותוציאנו  לרויה׃
    HUrKBTh 'aNVSh LUr'aShNV B'aNV-B'aSh VBMYM VThVTShY'aNV LUrVYH.     Thou hast caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And Thou bringest us out to a watered place.     inposuisti homines super caput nostrum transivimus per ignem et aquam et eduxisti nos in refrigerium
 
13.    I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you,     I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,     אבוא  ביתך  בעולות 
אשלם  לך  נדרי׃
    'aBV'a BYThK B'yVLVTh 'aShLM LK NDUrY.     I enter Thy house with burnt-offerings, I complete to Thee my vows,     ingrediar domum tuam in holocaustis reddam tibi vota mea
 
14.    which my lips promised, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.     Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.     אשר־פצו  שפתי 
ודבר־פי  בצר־לי׃
    'aShUr-PhTShV ShPhThY VDBUr-PhY BTShUr-LY.     For opened were my lips, And my mouth spake in my distress:     quae promiserunt tibi labia mea et locutum est os meum cum tribularer
 
15.    I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals, with the offering of rams, I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.     I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.     עלות  מחים  אעלה־לך 
עם־קטרת  אילים
אעשה  בקר
עם־עתודים  סלה׃
    'yLVTh MChYM 'a'yLH-LK 'yM-QTUrTh 'aYLYM 'a'yShH BQUr 'yM-'yThVDYM SLH.     `Burnt-offerings of fatlings I offer to Thee, With perfume of rams, I prepare a bullock with he-goats.` Selah.     holocausta medullata offeram tibi cum incensu arietum faciam boves cum hircis semper
 
16.    Come, and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul.     Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.     לכו־שמעו  ואספרה 
כל־יראי  אלהים  אשר
עשה  לנפשי׃
    LKV-ShM'yV V'aSPhUrH KL-YUr'aY 'aLHYM 'aShUr 'yShH LNPhShY.     Come, hear, all ye who fear God, And I recount what he did for my soul.     venite audite et narrabo omnes qui timetis Deum quanta fecerit animae meae
 
17.    I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue.     I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.     אליו  פי־קראתי 
ורומם  תחת  לשוני׃
    'aLYV PhY-QUr'aThY VUrVMM ThChTh LShVNY.     Unto Him with my mouth I have called, And exaltation is under my tongue.     ipsum ore meo invocavi et exaltavi in lingua mea
 
18.    If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't have listened.     If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:     און  אם־ראיתי  בלבי 
לא  ישמע  אדני׃
    'aVN 'aM-Ur'aYThY BLBY L'a YShM'y 'aDNY.     Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord doth not hear.     iniquitatem si vidi in corde meo non exaudiat Dominus
 
19.    But most certainly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer.     But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.     אכן  שמע  אלהים 
הקשיב  בקול  תפלתי׃
    'aKN ShM'y 'aLHYM HQShYB BQVL ThPhLThY.     But God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.     ideo exaudivit Deus et adtendit vocem deprecationis meae
 
20.    Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me.     Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.     ברוך  אלהים  אשר 
לא־הסיר  תפלתי
וחסדו  מאתי׃
    BUrVK 'aLHYM 'aShUr L'a-HSYUr ThPhLThY VChSDV M'aThY.     Blessed is God, Who hath not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!     benedictus Deus qui non abstulit orationem meam et misericordiam suam a me
