    VBMYM UrBYM ZUr'y ShChUr QTShYUr Y'aVUr ThBV'aThH VThHY SChUr GVYM.     And in many waters is the seed of Sihor, The harvest of the brook is her increase, And she is a mart of nations.     in aquis multis semen Nili messis fluminis fruges eius et facta est negotiatio gentium
 
4.    Be ashamed, Sidon; for the sea has spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying, "I have not travailed, nor brought forth, neither have I nourished young men, nor brought up virgins."     Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.     בושי  צידון  כי־אמר

12.    He said, "You shall rejoice no more, you oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon. Arise, pass over to Kittim. Even there you will have no rest."     And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest.     ויאמר  לא־תוסיפי

כתיים  קומי  עברי
גם־שם  לא־ינוח  לך׃
    VY'aMUr L'a-ThVSYPhY 'yVD L'yLVZ HM'yShQH BThVLTh BTh-TShYDVN KThYYM QVMY 'yBUrY GM-ShM L'a-YNVCh LK.     And He saith, `Thou dost not add any more to exult, O oppressed one, virgin daughter of Zidon, To Chittim arise, pass over, Even there -- there is no rest for thee.`     et dixit non adicies ultra ut glorieris calumniam sustinens virgo filia Sidonis in Cetthim consurgens transfreta ibi quoque non erit requies tibi
 
13.    Behold, the land of the Chaldeans. This people was not. The Assyrians founded it for those who dwell in the wilderness. They set up their towers. They overthrew its palaces. 15.    It will come to pass in that day that Tyre will be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king. After the end of seventy years it will be to Tyre like in the song of the prostitute.     And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.     והיה  ביום  ההוא 
ונשכחת  צר  שבעים
שנה  כימי  מלך  אחד
מקץ  שבעים  שנה
יהיה  לצר  כשירת
הזונה׃
    VHYH BYVM HHV'a VNShKChTh TShUr ShB'yYM ShNH KYMY MLK 'aChD MQTSh ShB'yYM ShNH YHYH LTShUr KShYUrTh HZVNH.     And it hath come to pass, in that day, That forgotten is Tyre seventy years, According to the days of one king. At the end of seventy years there is to Tyre as the song of the harlot.     et erit in die illa in oblivione eris o Tyre septuaginta annis sicut dies regis unius post septuaginta autem annos erit Tyro quasi canticum meretricis

17.    It will happen after the end of seventy years that Yahweh will visit Tyre, and she shall return to her wages, and will play the prostitute with all the kingdoms of the world on the surface of the earth.     And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.     והיה  מקץ  שבעים 
שנה  יפקד  יהוה
את־צר  ושבה  לאתננה
וזנתה  את־כל־
ממלכות  הארץ
על־פני  האדמה׃
    VHYH MQTSh ShB'yYM ShNH YPhQD YHVH 'aTh-TShUr VShBH L'aThNNH VZNThH 'aTh-KL- MMLKVTh H'aUrTSh 'yL-PhNY H'aDMH.     And it hath come to pass, At the end of seventy years Jehovah inspecteth Tyre, And she hath repented of her gift, That she committed fornication With all kingdoms of the earth on the face of the ground.     et erit post septuaginta annos visitabit Dominus Tyrum et reducet eam ad mercedes suas et rursum fornicabitur cum universis regnis terrae super faciem terrae
 
18.    Her merchandise and her wages will be holiness to Yahweh. It will not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise will be for those who dwell before Yahweh, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.     And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.     והיה  סחרה  ואתננה
