| 2. | You, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? then cause her to know all her abominations. | Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations. |
ואתה בן־אדם התשפט התשפט את־עיר הדמים והודעתה את כל־תועבותיה׃ |
V'aThH BN-'aDM HThShPhT HThShPhT 'aTh-'yYUr HDMYM VHVD'yThH 'aTh KL-ThV'yBVThYH. | `And thou, son of man, dost thou judge? dost thou judge the city of blood? then thou hast caused it to know all its abominations, | et tu fili hominis num iudicas num iudicas civitatem sanguinum | |||||
| 3. | You shall say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: A city that sheds blood in the midst of her, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her! | Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. |

| 9. | Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood; and in you they have eaten on the mountains: in the midst of you they have committed lewdness. | In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness. |

V'aYSh 'aTh-'aShTh Ur'yHV 'yShH ThV'yBH V'aYSh 'aTh-KLThV TM'a BZMH V'aYSh 'aTh- 'aChThV BTh-'aBYV 'yNH-BK. | And each with the wife of his neighbour hath done abomination, And each his daughter-in-law hath defiled through wickedness, And each his sister, his father`s daughter, hath humbled in thee. | et unusquisque in uxorem proximi sui operatus est abominationem et socer nurum suam polluit nefarie frater sororem suam filiam patris sui oppressit in te | |||||

| 18. | Son of man, the house of Israel is become dross to me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver. | Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver. |
