| 1. | The people were complaining in the ears of Yahweh. When Yahweh heard it, his anger was kindled; and Yahweh's fire burnt among them, and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. | And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. |
ויהי העם כמתאננים רע באזני יהוה וישמע יהוה ויחר אפו ותבער־בם אש יהוה ותאכל בקצה המחנה׃ |

| 3. | The name of that place was called Taberah{Taberah means "burning"}, because Yahweh's fire burnt among them. | And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them. |
