| 19. | Without being weakened in faith, he didn't consider his own body, already having been worn out, (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. | And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: | και μη ασθενησας τη πιστει κατενοησεν το εαυτου σωμα [ηδη] νενεκρωμενον εκατονταετης που υπαρχων και την νεκρωσιν της μητρας σαρρας | and not having been weak in the faith, he did not consider his own body, already become dead, (being about a hundred years old,) and the deadness of Sarah`s womb, | et non infirmatus fide consideravit corpus suum emortuum cum fere centum annorum esset et emortuam vulvam Sarrae | ||||
| 20. | Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn't waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God, | He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; | εις δε την επαγγελιαν του θεου ου διεκριθη τη απιστια αλλ ενεδυναμωθη τη πιστει δους δοξαν τω θεω | and at the promise of God did not stagger in unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, having given glory to God, | in repromissione etiam Dei non haesitavit diffidentia sed confortatus est fide dans gloriam Deo | ||||
| 21. | and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform. | And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. | και πληροφορηθεις οτι ο επηγγελται δυνατος εστιν και ποιησαι | and having been fully persuaded that what He hath promised He is able also to do: | plenissime sciens quia quaecumque promisit potens est et facere | ||||
