1.  *     سورة الانسان  بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ هل اتى على الانسان حين من الدهر لم يكن شيئا مذكورا     swr+ alansan  bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? hl ati `li alansan Hyn mn aldhr lm ykn $yYa mXkwra     Did (it) come on the human/mankind (a) period of time from the long time he was not a mentioned/remembered thing?     Is it not a fact that there was a time when the human being was nothing to be mentioned?     Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned?
 
2.  *     انا خلقنا الانسان من نطفة امشاج نبتليه فجعلناه سميعا بصيرا     ana Klqna alansan mn nTf+ am$aj nbtlyh fj`lnah smy`a bSyra     That We, We created the human/mankind from a drop/male's or female's secretion mixtures (of secretions), We test him, so We made/created him hearing/listening, seeing/knowing.     We created the human from a liquid mixture, from two parents, in order to test him. Thus, we made him a hearer and a seer.     Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.
 
3.  *     انا هديناه السبيل اما شاكرا واما كفورا     ana hdynah alsbyl ama $akra wama kfwra     That We, We guided him the way/path, either (he is) thankful/grateful and either (an insistent) disbeliever.     We showed him the two paths, then he is either appreciative, or unappreciative.     We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will).
 
4.  *     انا اعتدنا للكافرين سلاسل واغلالا وسعيرا     ana a`tdna llkafryn slasl waGlala ws`yra     That We prepared/made ready for the disbelievers chains/successions, and leather or iron collars or handcuffs and blazing/inflaming (punishment).     We prepared for the disbelievers chains, shackles, and a blazing Hell.     For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire.
 
5.  *     ان الابرار يشربون من كاس كان مزاجها كافورا     an alabrar y$rbwn mn kas kan mzajha kafwra     That truly the righteous/charitable drink from a cup its mixture/blend was camphor.     As for the virtuous, they will drink from cups spiced with nectar.     As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur,-
 
6.  *     عينا يشرب بها عباد الله يفجرونها تفجيرا     `yna y$rb bha `bad allh yfjrwnha tfjyra     A water well/spring God's worshippers/slaves drink by it, they cause it to flow bursting/flowing.     A spring that is reserved for GOD's servants; it will gush out as they will.     A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance.
 
7.  *     يوفون بالنذر ويخافون يوما كان شره مستطيرا     ywfwn balnXr wyKafwn ywma kan $rh mstTyra     They fulfill/complete with the vow/duty (on oneself), and they fear a day/time its evil/harm was spread and scattered.     They fulfill their pledges, and reverence a day that is extremely difficult.     They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide.
 
8.  *     ويطعمون الطعام على حبه مسكينا ويتيما واسيرا     wyT`mwn alT`am `li Hbh mskyna wytyma wasyra     And they feed the food on (inspite of) its love/like (to it to) a poorest of poor/poor oppressed and an orphan,and a captive/prisoner.     They donate their favorite food to the poor, the orphan, and the captive.     And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive,-
 
9.  *     انما نطعمكم لوجه الله لانريد منكم جزاء ولاشكورا     anma nT`mkm lwjh allh lanryd mnkm jza' wla$kwra     (They say): "Truly we feed you for God's sake, we do not want from you a reward/reimbursement,and nor thankfulness/gratefulness.     "We feed you for the sake of GOD; we expect no reward from you, nor thanks.     (Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks.
 
10.  *     انا نخاف من ربنا يوما عبوسا قمطريرا     ana nKaf mn rbna ywma `bwsa qmTryra     We (E), fear from our Lord a severe (gloomy) difficult/evil day/time."     "We fear from our Lord a day that is full of misery and trouble."     "We only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord."
 
11.  *     فوقاهم الله شر ذلك اليوم ولقاهم نضرة وسرورا     fwqahm allh $r Xlk alywm wlqahm nDr+ wsrwra     So God protected/preserved them (from) that the day's/time's bad/evil/harm, and He made them meet/find beauty and goodness and delight/happiness.     Consequently, GOD protects them from the evils of that day, and rewards them with joy and contentment.     But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy.
 
12.  *     وجزاهم بما صبروا جنة وحريرا     wjzahm bma Sbrwa jn+ wHryra     And He rewarded/reimbursed them because (of) what they were patient (by) treed gardens/paradises and silk.     He rewards them for their steadfastness with Paradise, and silk.     And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk.
 
13.  *     متكئين فيها على الارائك لايرون فيها شمسا ولازمهريرا     mtkYyn fyha `li alaraYk layrwn fyha $msa wlazmhryra     Resting/reclining in it on the luxurious beds/couches, they do not see in it sun and nor severe cold/anger.     They relax therein on luxurious furnishings. They suffer neither the heat of the sun, nor any cold.     Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold.
 
14.  *     ودانية عليهم ظلالها وذللت قطوفها تذليلا     wdany+ `lyhm Zlalha wXllt qTwfha tXlyla     And its shades/shadows (are) near on them, and its fruit harvests was manipulated/dangled low dangling/manipulating.     The shade covers them therein, and the fruits are brought within reach.     And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility.
 
15.  *     ويطاف عليهم بانية من فضة واكواب كانت قواريرا     wyTaf `lyhm bany+ mn fD+ wakwab kant qwaryra     And (they are) being circled around on them with drinking cups from silver and cups (that) were/are clear glass/mirrors.     They are served drinks in silver containers and cups that are translucent.     And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal,-
 
16.  *     قواريرا من فضة قدروها تقديرا     qwaryra mn fD+ qdrwha tqdyra     Clear glass/mirrors from silver, they predestined/evaluated it predestination/evaluation.     Translucent cups, though made of silver; they rightly deserved all this.     Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes).
 
17.  *     ويسقون فيها كاسا كان مزاجها زنجبيلا     wysqwn fyha kasa kan mzajha znjbyla     And they be given drink in it (in) a cup its mixture/blend was ginger/wine.     They enjoy drinks of delicious flavors.     And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,-
 
18.  *     عينا فيها تسمى سلسبيلا     `yna fyha tsmi slsbyla     A water spring/well in it, it is named Salsbeelan/fresh, smooth and pleasant water fountain.     From a spring therein known as "Salsabeel."     A fountain there, called Salsabil.
 
19.  *     ويطوف عليهم ولدان مخلدون اذا رايتهم حسبتهم لؤلؤا منثورا     wyTwf `lyhm wldan mKldwn aXa raythm Hsbthm lWlWa mnxwra     And immortal/eternal children/new borns circle/walk around them, if you saw/understood them you thought/supposed them (that) they (are) scattered/sprinkled pearls.     Serving them will be immortal servants. When you see them, they will look like scattered pearls.     And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls.
 
20.  *     واذا رايت ثم رايت نعيما وملكا كبيرا     waXa rayt xm rayt n`yma wmlka kbyra     And if you saw/understood, then you saw/understood comfort and ease/blessing and a great ownership/kingdom.     Wherever you look, you will see bliss, and a wonderful dominion.     And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent.
 
21.  *     عاليهم ثياب سندس خضر واستبرق وحلوا اساور من فضة وسقاهم ربهم شرابا طهورا     `alyhm xyab snds KDr wastbrq wHlwa asawr mn fD+ wsqahm rbhm $raba Thwra     Their tops (covers them) clothes/garments (from) green sarcenet (certain type of silk or brocade) and brocade (silk and gold fabric), and they were bejeweled/ornamented (with) bracelets from silver, and their Lord gave/made them drink a pure/clear drink.     On them will be clothes of green velvet, satin, and silver ornaments. Their Lord will provide them with pure drinks.     Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy.
 
22.  *     ان هذا كان لكم جزاء وكان سعيكم مشكورا     an hXa kan lkm jza' wkan s`ykm m$kwra     That truly that was for you a reward/reimbursement, and your striving/endeavor was/is thanked.     This is the reward that awaits you, for your efforts have been appreciated.     "Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised."
 
23.  *     انا نحن نزلنا عليك القران تنزيلا     ana nHn nzlna `lyk alqran tnzyla     That We, We descended on you the Koran descent.     We have revealed to you this Quran; a special revelation from us.     It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages.
 
24.  *     فاصبر لحكم ربك ولاتطع منهم اثما او كفورا     faSbr lHkm rbk wlatT` mnhm axma aw kfwra     So be patient for your Lord's judgment/rule, and do not obey a sinner/criminal (insistent) disbeliever from them.     You shall steadfastly carry out your Lord's commandments, and do not obey any sinful disbeliever among them.     Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them.
 
25.  *     واذكر اسم ربك بكرة واصيلا     waXkr asm rbk bkr+ waSyla     And remember/mention your Lord (at) daybreaks/early mornings and (at) evening to sunset.     And commemorate the name of your Lord day and night.     And celebrate the name or thy Lord morning and evening,
 
26.  *     ومن الليل فاسجد له وسبحه ليلا طويلا     wmn allyl fasjd lh wsbHh lyla Twyla     And from the night, so prostrate to Him, and praise/glorify Him at night/nightly long.     During the night, fall prostrate before Him, and glorify Him many a long night.     And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through.
 
27.  *     ان هؤلاء يحبون العاجلة ويذرون وراءهم يوما ثقيلا     an hWla' yHbwn al`ajl+ wyXrwn wra'hm ywma xqyla     That truly those love/like the worldly life/present, and they leave behind them a heavy day/time.     These people are preoccupied with this fleeting life, while disregarding - just ahead of them - a heavy day.     As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard.
 
28.  *     نحن خلقناهم وشددنا اسرهم واذا شئنا بدلنا امثالهم تبديلا     nHn Klqnahm w$ddna asrhm waXa $Yna bdlna amxalhm tbdyla     We, We created them and We strengthened/supported their bone structure/ties and joints/(strengths), and if We willed/wanted/intended We exchanged/replaced their equivalent (by) an exchange/replacement.     We created them, and established them, and, whenever we will, we can substitute others in their place.     It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.
 
29.  *     ان هذه تذكرة فمن شاء اتخذ الى ربه سبيلا     an hXh tXkr+ fmn $a' atKX ali rbh sbyla     That truly this (is) a reminder, so who wanted took/received a way/path to his Lord.     This is a reminder: whoever wills shall choose the path to his Lord.     This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord.
 
30.  *     وماتشاؤون الا ان يشاء الله ان الله كان عليما حكيما     wmat$aWwn ala an y$a' allh an allh kan `lyma Hkyma     And you do not will/want except that (E) God wills/wants/intends, that truly God was/is knowledgeable, wise/judicious.     Whatever you will is in accordance with GOD's will. GOD is Omniscient, Wise.     But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
 
31.  *     يدخل من يشاء في رحمته والظالمين اعد لهم عذابا اليما     ydKl mn y$a' fy rHmth walZalmyn a`d lhm `Xaba alyma     He enters whom He wills/wants in His mercy, and the unjust/oppressive, He prepared for them a painful torture.450     He admits whomever He wills into His mercy. As for the transgressors, He has prepared for them a painful retribution.     He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty.
