It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.
|
|
Teacher of the Quran.
|
|
علم القران
|
|
`lm alqran
|
|
3. * |
He has created man:
|
|
Creator of the human beings.
|
|
خلق الانسان
|
|
Klq alansan
|
|
4. * |
He has taught him speech (and intelligence).
|
|
He taught them how to distinguish.
|
|
علمه البيان
|
|
`lmh albyan
|
|
5. * |
The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed;
|
|
The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated.
|
|
الشمس والقمر بحسبان
|
|
al$ms walqmr bHsban
|
|
6. * |
And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) bow in adoration.
|
|
The stars and the trees prostrate.
|
|
والنجم والشجر يسجدان
|
|
walnjm wal$jr ysjdan
|
|
7. * |
And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice),
|
|
He constructed the sky and established the law.
|
|
والسماء رفعها ووضع الميزان
|
|
walsma' rf`ha wwD` almyzan
|
|
8. * |
In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance.
|
|
You shall not transgress the law.
|
|
الا تطغوا في الميزان
|
|
ala tTGwa fy almyzan
|
|
9. * |
So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.
|
|
You shall establish justice; do not violate the law.
|
|
واقيموا الوزن بالقسط ولاتخسروا الميزان
|
|
waqymwa alwzn balqsT wlatKsrwa almyzan
|
|
10. * |
It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures:
|
|
He created the earth for all creatures.
|
|
والارض وضعها للانام
|
|
walarD wD`ha llanam
|
|
11. * |
Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates);
|
|
In it there are fruits, and date palms with their hanging fruit.
|
|
فيها فاكهة والنخل ذات الاكمام
|
|
fyha fakh+ walnKl Xat alakmam
|
|
12. * |
Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants.
|
|
Also grains and the spices.
|
|
والحب ذو العصف والريحان
|
|
walHb Xw al`Sf walryHan
|
|
13. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
(O humans and jinns,) which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
14. * |
He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery,
|
|
He created the human from aged clay, like the potter's clay.
|
|
خلق الانسان من صلصال كالفخار
|
|
Klq alansan mn SlSal kalfKar
|
|
15. * |
And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:
|
|
And created the jinns from blazing fire.
|
|
وخلق الجان من مارج من نار
|
|
wKlq aljan mn marj mn nar
|
|
16. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
(O humans and jinns,) which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
17. * |
(He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests:
|
|
Lord of the two easts and the two wests.
|
|
رب المشرقين ورب المغربين
|
|
rb alm$rqyn wrb almGrbyn
|
|
18. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
19. * |
He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together:
|
|
He separates the two seas where they meet.
|
|
مرج البحرين يلتقيان
|
|
mrj albHryn yltqyan
|
|
20. * |
Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:
|
|
A barrier is placed between them, to prevent them from transgressing.
|
|
بينهما برزخ لايبغيان
|
|
bynhma brzK laybGyan
|
|
21. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
22. * |
Out of them come Pearls and Coral:
|
|
Out of both of them you get pearls and coral.
|
|
يخرج منهما اللؤلؤ والمرجان
|
|

|

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
24. * |
And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains:
|
|
He gave you ships that roam the sea like flags.
|
|
وله الجوار المنشئات في البحر كالاعلام
|
|
wlh aljwar almn$Yat fy albHr kala`lam
|
|
25. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
26. * |
All that is on earth will perish:
|
|
Everyone on earth perishes.
|
|
كل من عليها فان
|
|
kl mn `lyha fan
|
|
27. * |
But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.
|
|
Only the presence of your Lord lasts. Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
|
|
ويبقى وجه ربك ذو الجلال والاكرام
|
|

|
|
28. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
29. * |
Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)!
|
|
Imploring Him is everyone in the heavens and the earth. Every day He is in full control.
|
|
يسأله من في السماوات والارض كل يوم هوفي شان
|
|
ysAlh mn fy alsmawat walarD kl ywm hwfy $an
|
|
30. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
31. * |
Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both ye worlds!
|
|
We will call you to account, O humans and jinns.
|
|
سنفرغ لكم ايه الثقلان
|
|
snfrG lkm ayh alxqlan
|
|
32. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
33. * |
O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!
|
|
O you jinns and humans, if you can penetrate the outer limits of the heavens and the earth, go ahead and penetrate. You cannot penetrate without authorization.
|
|
يامعشر الجن والانس ان استطعتم ان تنفذوا من اقطار السماوات والارض فانفذوا لاتنفذون الا بسلطان
|
|
yam`$r aljn walans an astT`tm an tnfXwa mn aqTar alsmawat walarD fanfXwa latnfXwn ala bslTan
|
|
34. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|
fbay ala' rbkma tkXban
|
|
35. * |
On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have:
|
|
You get bombarded with projectiles of fire and metal, and you cannot win.
|
|
يرسل عليكما شواظ من نار ونحاس فلا تنتصران
|
|

|
|
36. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
37. * |
When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment:
|
|
When the sky disintegrates, and turns rose colored like paint.
|
|
فاذا انشقت السماء فكانت وردة كالدهان
|
|
faXa an$qt alsma' fkant wrd+ kaldhan
|
|
38. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
39. * |
On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin.
|
|
On that day, no human, nor a jinn, will be asked about his sins.
|
|
فيومئذ لايسأل عن ذنبه انس ولاجان
|
|
fywmYX laysAl `n Xnbh ans wlajan
|
|
40. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|
fbay ala' rbkma tkXban
|
|
41. * |
(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.
|
|
(This is because) the guilty will be recognized by their looks; they will be taken by the forelocks and the feet.
|
|
يعرف المجرمون بسيماهم فيؤخذ بالنواصي والاقدام
|
|

|
|
42. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|
fbay ala' rbkma tkXban
|
|
43. * |
This is the Hell which the Sinners deny:
|
|
This is Gehenna that the guilty used to deny.
|
|
هذه جهنم التي يكذب بها المجرمون
|
|
hXh jhnm alty ykXb bha almjrmwn
|
|
44. * |
In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!
|
|
They will circulate between it and an intolerable inferno.
|
|
يطوفون بينها وبين حميم ان
|
|
yTwfwn bynha wbyn Hmym an
|
|
45. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
46. * |
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens-
|
|
For those who reverence the majesty of their Lord, two gardens (one for the jinns and one for the humans).
|
|
ولمن خاف مقام ربه جنتان
|
|
wlmn Kaf mqam rbh jntan
|
|
47. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|
fbay ala' rbkma tkXban
|
|
48. * |
Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);-
|
|
Full of provisions.
|
|
ذواتا افنان
|
|
Xwata afnan
|
|
49. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
50. * |
In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free);
|
|
Two springs are in them, flowing.
|
|
فيهما عينان تجريان
|
|
fyhma `ynan tjryan
|
|
51. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
52. * |
In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.
|
|
Of every fruit in them, two kinds.
|
|
فيهما من كل فاكهة زوجان
|
|
fyhma mn kl fakh+ zwjan
|
|
53. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
54. * |
They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach).
|
|
While relaxing on furnishings lined with satin, the fruits are within reach.
|
|
متكئين على فرش بطائنها من استبرق وجنى الجنتين دان
|
|
mtkYyn `li fr$ bTaYnha mn astbrq wjni aljntyn dan
|
|
55. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
56. * |
In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-
|
|
Their beautiful mates were never touched by any human or jinn.
|
|
فيهن قاصرات الطرف لم يطمثهن انس قبلهم ولاجان
|
|
fyhn qaSrat alTrf lm yTmxhn ans qblhm wlajan
|
|
57. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
58. * |
Like unto Rubies and coral.
|
|
They look like gems and coral.
|
|
كانهن الياقوت والمرجان
|
|
kanhn alyaqwt walmrjan
|
|
59. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|
fbay ala' rbkma tkXban
|
|
60. * |
Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good?
|
|
Is the reward of goodness anything but goodness?
|
|
هل جزاء الاحسان الا الاحسان
|
|
hl jza' alaHsan ala alaHsan
|
|
61. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
62. * |
And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,-
|
|
Below them are two gardens (one for the jinns and one for the humans).
|
|
ومن دونهما جنتان
|
|

|
|
63. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
64. * |
Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering).
|
|
Side by side.
|
|
مدهامتان
|
|
mdhamtan
|
|
65. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
66. * |
In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:
|
|
In them, wells to be pumped.
|
|
فيهما عينان نضاختان
|
|
fyhma `ynan nDaKtan
|
|
67. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
68. * |
In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:
|
|
In them are fruits, date palms, and pomegranate.
|
|
فيها فاكهة ونخل ورمان
|
|
fyha fakh+ wnKl wrman
|
|
69. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
70. * |
In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;-
|
|
In them are beautiful mates.
|
|
فيهن خيرات حسان
|
|
fyhn Kyrat Hsan
|
|
71. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
72. * |
Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-
|
|
Confined in the tents.
|
|
حور مقصورات في الخيام
|
|
Hwr mqSwrat fy alKyam
|
|
73. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
74. * |
Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-
|
|
No human ever touched them, nor a jinn.
|
|
لم يطمثهن انس قبلهم ولاجان
|
|
lm yTmxhn ans qblhm wlajan
|
|
75. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
|
76. * |
Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty.
|
|
They relax on green carpets, in beautiful surroundings.
|
|
متكئين على رفرف خضر وعبقري حسان
|
|
mtkYyn `li rfrf KDr w`bqry Hsan
|
|
77. * |
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?
|
|
Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
|
|
فباي الاء ربكما تكذبان
|
|

|
78. * |
Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.
|
|
Most exalted is the name of your Lord, Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
|
|
تبارك اسم ربك ذي الجلال والاكرام
|
|
