עד־אנה אשית עצות בנפשי יגון בלבבי יומם עד־אנה ירום איבי עלי׃ |
Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; | Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God. הביטה ענני יהוה אלהי האירה עיני פן־אישן המות׃ |
Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. | Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him;" Lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall. | And he who is against me may not say, I have overcome him; and those who are troubling me may not be glad when I am moved. | |||

פן־יאמר איבי יכלתיו צרי יגילו כי אמוט׃ |
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. | But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. | But I have had faith in your mercy; my heart will be glad in your salvation. | |||

ואני בחסדך בטחתי יגל לבי בישועתך אשירה ליהוה כי גמל עלי׃ |
