יהוה מה־רבו צרי רבים קמים עלי׃ |
Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. | Many there are who say of my soul, "There is no help for him in God{The Hebrew word rendered "God" is "Elohim."}." Selah. | Lord, how greatly are they increased who make attacks on me! in great numbers they come against me. | |||

רבים אמרים לנפשי אין ישועתה לו באלהים סלה׃ |
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. | But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. | Unnumbered are those who say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. (Selah.) | |||

ואתה יהוה מגן בעדי כבודי ומרים ראשי׃ |
I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. | I cry to Yahweh with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. Selah. | But your strength, O Lord, is round me, you are my glory and the lifter up of my head. | |||

קולי אל־יהוה אקרא ויענני מהר קדשו סלה׃ |

אני שכבתי ואישנה הקיצותי כי יהוה יסמכני׃ |

לא־אירא מרבבות עם אשר סביב שתו עלי׃ |
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. | Arise, Yahweh! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked. | I will have no fear, though ten thousand have come round me, putting themselves against me. | |||
