אלהים שמע תפלתי האזינה לאמרי־פי׃ |

כי זרים קמו עלי ועריצים בקשו נפשי לא שמו אלהים לנגדם סלה׃ |
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. | Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. | For men who are going after me have come out against me, violent men are purposing to take my soul; they have not put God before their eyes. (Selah.) | |||

הנה אלהים עזר לי אדני בסמכי נפשי׃ |
He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. | He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth. | See, God is my helper: the Lord is the great supporter of my soul. | |||

ישוב הרע לשררי באמתך הצמיתם׃ |
I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. | With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good. | Let the evil works of my haters come back on them again; let them be cut off by your good faith. | |||

בנדבה אזבחה־לך אודה שמך יהוה כי־טוב׃ |
