O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.     {For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lily of the Covenant." A teaching poem by David, when he fought with Aram Naharaim and with Aram Zobah, and Joab returned, and killed twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt.} God, you have rejected us.     Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.     You have made the land tremble. You have torn it.
