1.    למנצח  מזמור  לדוד 
שיר׃
    Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.     {For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. A song.} Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed.     To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David. A Song.
 
2.    לך  דמיה  תהלה 
אלהים  בציון  ולך
ישלם־נדר׃
    O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.     You who hear prayer, to you all men will come.     It is right for you, O God, to have praise in Zion: to you let the offering be made.
 
3.    שמע  תפלה  עדיך 
כל־בשר  יבאו׃
    Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.     Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions.     To you, O hearer of prayer, let the words of all flesh come.
 
4.    דברי  עונת  גברו 
מני  פשעינו  אתה
תכפרם׃
    Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.     Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, that he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.     Evils have overcome us: but as for our sins, you will take them away.
 
5.    אשרי  תבחר  ותקרב 
ישכן  חצריך  נשבעה
בטוב  ביתך  קדש
היכלך׃
    By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:     By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea;     Happy is the man of your selection, to whom you give a resting-place in your house; we will be full of the good things out of your holy place.
 
6.    נוראות  בצדק  תעננו 
אלהי  ישענו  מבטח
כל־קצוי־ארץ  וים
רחקים׃
    Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:     Who by his power forms the mountains, having armed yourself with strength;     You will give us an answer in righteousness by great acts of power, O God of our salvation; you who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of the far-off lands of the sea;
 
7.    מכין  הרים  בכחו 
נאזר  בגבורה׃
    Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.     who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.     The God by whose strength the mountains are fixed; who is robed with power:
 
8.    משביח  שאון  ימים 
שאון  גליהם  והמון
לאמים׃
    They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.     They also who dwell in faraway places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning's dawn and the evening with songs of joy.     Who makes the loud voice of the sea quiet, and puts an end to the sound of its waves.
 
9.    וייראו  ישבי  קצות 
מאותתיך  מוצאי־בקר
וערב  תרנין׃
    Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.     You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.     Those in the farthest parts of the earth have fear when they see your signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening are glad because of you.
 
10.    פקדת  הארץ  ותשקקה 
רבת  תעשרנה  פלג
אלהים  מלא  מים
תכין  דגנם  כי־  כן
תכינה׃
    Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.     You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.     You have given your blessing to the earth, watering it and making it fertile; the river of God is full of water: and having made it ready, you give men grain.
 
11.    תלמיה  רוה  נחת 
גדודיה  ברביבים
תמגגנה  צמחה  תברך׃
    Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.     You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.     You make the ploughed lands full of water; you make smooth the slopes: you make the earth soft with showers, sending your blessing on its growth.
 
12.    עטרת  שנת  טובתך 
ומעגליך  ירעפון
דשן׃
    They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.     The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.     The year is crowned with the good you give; life-giving rain is dropping from your footsteps,
 
13.    ירעפו  נאות  מדבר 
וגיל  גבעות
תחגרנה׃
    The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.     The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.     Falling on the grass of the waste land: and the little hills are glad on every side.
 
14.    לבשו  כרים  הצאן 
ועמקים  יעטפו־בר
יתרועעו  אף־ישירו׃
