Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. | Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? תנו עז לאלהים על־ישראל גאותו ועזו בשחקים׃ |
O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God. | You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God! | Make clear that strength is God's: he is lifted up over Israel, and his power is in the clouds. | |||
