ויראני את־יהושע הכהן הגדול עמד לפני מלאך יהוה והשטן עמד על־ ימינו לשטנו׃ |
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. | He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Yahweh, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary. | And he let me see Joshua, the high priest, in his place before the angel of the Lord, and the Satan at his right hand ready to take up a cause against him. | |||

ויאמר יהוה אל־השטן יגער יהוה בך השטן ויגער יהוה בך הבחר בירושלם הלוא זה אוד מצל מאש׃ |
And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? | Yahweh said to Satan, "Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" | And the Lord said to the Satan, May the Lord's word be sharp against you, O Satan, the word of the Lord who has taken Jerusalem for himself: is this not a burning branch pulled out of the fire? | |||

ויהושע היה לבש בגדים צואים ועמד לפני המלאך׃ |
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. | Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel. | Now Joshua was clothed in unclean robes, and he was in his place before the angel. | |||

ויען ויאמר אל־העמדים לפניו לאמר הסירו הבגדים הצאים מעליו ויאמר אליו ראה העברתי מעליך עונך והלבש אתך מחלצות׃ |
And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. | He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, "Take the filthy garments off of him." To him he said, "Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing." | And he made answer and said to those who were there before him, Take the unclean robes off him, and let him be clothed in clean robes; | |||

ואמר ישימו צניף טהור על־ראשו וישימו הצניף הטהור על־ראשו וילבשהו בגדים ומלאך יהוה עמד׃ |
And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. | I said, "Let them set a clean turban on his head." So they set a clean turban on his head, and clothed him; and the angel of Yahweh was standing by. | And let them put a clean head-dress on his head. So they put a clean head-dress on his head, clothing him with clean robes: and to him he said, See, I have taken your sin away from you. | |||

ויעד מלאך יהוה ביהושע לאמר׃ |
And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying, | The angel of Yahweh protested to Joshua, saying, | And the angel of the Lord made a statement to Joshua, and said, | |||

כה־אמר יהוה צבאות אם־בדרכי תלך ואם את־משמרתי תשמר וגם־אתה תדין את־ביתי וגם תשמר את־חצרי ונתתי לך מהלכים בין העמדים האלה׃ |
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. | "Thus says Yahweh of Armies: 'If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by. | These are the words of the Lord of armies: If you will go in my ways and keep what I have put in your care, then you will be judge over my Temple and have the care of my house, and I will give you the right to come in among those who are there. | |||

שמע־נא יהושע הכהן הגדול אתה ורעיך הישבים לפניך כי־אנשי מופת המה כי־הנני מביא את־עבדי צמח׃ |
Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. | Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you; for they are men who are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant, the Branch. | Give ear now, O Joshua, the high priest, you and your friends who are seated before you; for these are men who are a sign: for see, I will let my servant the Branch be seen. | |||

כי הנה האבן אשר נתתי לפני יהושע על־אבן אחת שבעה עינים הנני מפתח פתחה נאם יהוה צבאות ומשתי את־עון הארץ־ההיא ביום אחד׃ |
For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. | For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave its engraving,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. | For see, the stone which I have put before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes: see, the design cut on it will be my work, says the Lord of armies, and I will take away the sin of that land in one day. | |||

ביום ההוא נאם יהוה צבאות תקראו איש לרעהו אל־תחת גפן ואל־תחת תאנה׃ |
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree. | In that day,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.'" | In that day, says the Lord of armies, you will be one another's guests under the vine and under the fig-tree. | |||
