3.    He lays the beams of his chambers in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.     Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:     המקרה  במים

4.    He makes his messengers{or, angels} winds; his servants flames of fire.     Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:     עשה  מלאכיו  רוחות 
משרתיו  אש  להט׃
    'yShH ML'aKYV UrVChVTh MShUrThYV 'aSh LHT.     Making His messengers -- the winds, His ministers -- the flaming fire.     qui facis angelos tuos spiritus ministros tuos ignem urentem
 
5.    He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever.     Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.     יסד־ארץ  על־מכוניה 
בל־תמוט  עולם  ועד׃
    YSD-'aUrTSh 'yL-MKVNYH BL-ThMVT 'yVLM V'yD.     He hath founded earth on its bases, It is not moved to the age and for ever.     qui fundasti terram super basem suam non commovebitur in saeculum et in saeculum
 
6.    You covered it with the deep as with a cloak. The waters stood above the mountains.     Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.     תהום  כלבוש  כסיתו

7.    At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.     At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.     מן־גערתך  ינוסון 
מן־קול  רעמך

    MN-G'yUrThK YNVSVN MN-QVL Ur'yMK YChPhZVN.     From Thy rebuke they flee, From the voice of Thy thunder haste away.     ab increpatione tua fugient a voce tonitrui tui formidabunt
 
8.    The mountains rose, the valleys sank down, to the place which you had assigned to them.     They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.     יעלו  הרים  ירדו 
בקעות  אל־מקום  זה
יסדת  להם׃
    Y'yLV HUrYM YUrDV BQ'yVTh 'aL-MQVM ZH YSDTh LHM.     They go up hills -- they go down valleys, Unto a place Thou hast founded for them.     ascendent montes et descendent campi ad locum quem fundasti eis
 
9.    You have set a boundary that they may not pass over; that they don't turn again to cover the earth.     Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.     גבול־שמת

    GBVL-ShMTh BL-Y'yBUrVN BL-YShVBVN LKSVTh H'aUrTSh.     A border Thou hast set, they pass not over, They turn not back to cover the earth.     terminum posuisti quem non pertransibunt nec revertentur ut operiant terram
 
10.    He sends forth springs into the valleys. They run among the mountains.     He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.     המשלח  מעינים 
בנחלים  בין  הרים

    HMShLCh M'yYNYM BNChLYM BYN HUrYM YHLKVN.     Who is sending forth fountains in valleys, Between hills they go on.     qui emittis fontes in convallibus ut inter medios montes fluant
 
11.    They give drink to every animal of the field. The wild donkeys quench their thirst.     They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.     ישקו  כל־חיתו  שדי 
ישברו  פראים  צמאם׃
    YShQV KL-ChYThV ShDY YShBUrV PhUr'aYM TShM'aM.     They water every beast of the field, Wild asses break their thirst.     ut bibant omnia animalia regionum et reficiat onager sitim suam
 
12.    The birds of the sky nest by them. They sing among the branches.     By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.     עליהם  עוף־השמים 
ישכון  מבין  עפאים
יתנו־קול׃
    'yLYHM 'yVPh-HShMYM YShKVN MBYN 'yPh'aYM YThNV-QVL.     By them the fowl of the heavens doth dwell, From between the branches They give forth the voice.     super ea volucres caeli morabuntur de medio nemorum dabunt vocem
 
13.    He waters the mountains from his chambers. The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.     He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.     משקה  הרים 
מעליותיו  מפרי
מעשיך  תשבע  הארץ׃
    MShQH HUrYM M'yLYVThYV MPhUrY M'yShYK ThShB'y H'aUrTSh.     Watering hills from His upper chambers, From the fruit of Thy works is the earth satisfied.     qui inrigas montes de cenaculis tuis de fructu operum tuorum implebitur terra
 
14.    He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food out of the earth:     He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;     מצמיח  חציר  לבהמה 
ועשב  לעבדת  האדם
להוציא  לחם
מן־הארץ׃
    MTShMYCh ChTShYUr LBHMH V'yShB L'yBDTh H'aDM LHVTShY'a LChM MN-H'aUrTSh.     Causing grass to spring up for cattle, And herb for the service of man, To bring forth bread from the earth,     germinans herbam iumentis et faenum servituti hominum ut educat panem de terra
 
15.    wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengthens man's heart.     And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.     ויין  ישמח 
לבב־אנוש  להצהיל
פנים  משמן  ולחם
לבב־אנוש  יסעד׃
    VYYN YShMCh LBB-'aNVSh LHTShHYL PhNYM MShMN VLChM LBB-'aNVSh YS'yD.     And wine -- it rejoiceth the heart of man, To cause the face to shine from oil, And bread -- the heart of man it supporteth.     et vinum laetificat cor hominis ad exhilarandam faciem oleo panis autem cor hominis roborat
 
16.    Yahweh's trees are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;     The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;     ישבעו  עצי  יהוה

    YShB'yV 'yTShY YHVH 'aUrZY LBNVN 'aShUr NT'y.     Satisfied are the trees of Jehovah, Cedars of Lebanon that He hath planted,     saturabuntur ligna Domini cedri Libani quas plantasti
 
17.    where the birds make their nests. The stork makes its home in the fir trees.     Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.     אשר־שם  צפרים 
יקננו  חסידה
ברושים  ביתה׃
    'aShUr-ShM TShPhUrYM YQNNV ChSYDH BUrVShYM BYThH.     Where birds do make nests, The stork -- the firs are her house.     ibi aves nidificabunt milvo abies domus eius
 
18.    The high mountains are for the wild goats. The rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.     The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.     הרים  הגבהים 
ליעלים  סלעים  מחסה
לשפנים׃
    HUrYM HGBHYM LY'yLYM SL'yYM MChSH LShPhNYM.     The high hills are for wild goats, Rocks are a refuge for conies,     montes excelsi cervis petra refugium ericiis
 
19.    He appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows when to set.     He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.     עשה  ירח  למועדים 
שמש  ידע  מבואו׃
    'yShH YUrCh LMV'yDYM ShMSh YD'y MBV'aV.     He made the moon for seasons, The sun hath known his place of entrance.     fecit lunam per tempora sol cognovit occubitum suum
 
20.    You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the animals of the forest prowl.     Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.     תשת־חשך  ויהי  לילה

כל־חיתו־יער׃

22.    The sun rises, and they steal away, and lay down in their dens.     The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.     תזרח  השמש  יאספון 
ואל־מעונתם
ירבצון׃
    ThZUrCh HShMSh Y'aSPhVN V'aL-M'yVNThM YUrBTShVN.     The sun riseth, they are gathered, And in their dens they crouch.     oriente sole recedent et in speluncis suis cubabunt
 
23.    Man goes forth to his work, to his labor until the evening.     Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.     יצא  אדם  לפעלו 
ולעבדתו  עדי־ערב׃
    YTSh'a 'aDM LPh'yLV VL'yBDThV 'yDY-'yUrB.     Man goeth forth to his work, And to his service -- till evening.     egreditur homo ad opus suum et ad servitutem suam usque ad vesperam
 
24.    Yahweh, how many are your works! In wisdom have you made them all. The earth is full of your riches.     O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.     מה־רבו  מעשיך  יהוה

מלאה  הארץ  קנינך׃

25.    There is the sea, great and wide, in which are innumerable living things, both small and large animals.     So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.     זה  הים  גדול  ורחב

26.    There the ships go, and leviathan, whom you formed to play there.     There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.     שם  אניות  יהלכון 
לויתן  זה־יצרת

    ShM 'aNYVTh YHLKVN LVYThN ZH-YTShUrTh LShChQ-BV.     There do ships go: leviathan, That Thou hast formed to play in it.     ibi naves pertranseunt Leviathan istum plasmasti ut inluderet ei
 
27.    These all wait for you, that you may give them their food in due season.     These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.     כלם  אליך  ישברון 
לתת  אכלם  בעתו׃
    KLM 'aLYK YShBUrVN LThTh 'aKLM B'yThV.     All of them unto Thee do look, To give their food in its season.     omnia in te sperant ut des cibum eis in tempore suo
 
28.    You give to them; they gather. You open your hand; they are satisfied with good.     That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.     תתן  להם  ילקטון 
תפתח  ידך  ישבעון
טוב׃
    ThThN LHM YLQTVN ThPhThCh YDK YShB'yVN TVB.     Thou dost give to them -- they gather, Thou dost open Thy hand -- they are satisfied with good.     dante te illis colligent aperiente manum tuam replebuntur bono
 
29.    You hide your face: they are troubled; you take away their breath: they die, and return to the dust.     Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.     תסתיר  פניך  יבהלון 
תסף  רוחם  יגועון
ואל־עפרם  ישובון׃
    ThSThYUr PhNYK YBHLVN ThSPh UrVChM YGV'yVN V'aL-'yPhUrM YShVBVN.     Thou hidest Thy face -- they are troubled, Thou gatherest their spirit -- they expire, And unto their dust they turn back.     abscondes vultum tuum et turbabuntur auferes spiritum eorum et deficient et in pulverem suum revertentur
 
30.    You send forth your Spirit: they are created. You renew the face of the ground.     Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.     תשלח  רוחך  יבראון

31.    Let the glory of Yahweh endure forever. Let Yahweh rejoice in his works.     The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.     יהי  כבוד  יהוה 
לעולם  ישמח  יהוה
במעשיו׃
    YHY KBVD YHVH L'yVLM YShMCh YHVH BM'yShYV.     The honour of Jehovah is to the age, Jehovah rejoiceth in His works,     sit gloria Domini in sempiternum laetabitur Dominus in operibus suis
 
32.    He looks at the earth, and it trembles. He touches the mountains, and they smoke.     He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.     המביט  לארץ  ותרעד 
יגע  בהרים  ויעשנו׃
    HMBYT L'aUrTSh VThUr'yD YG'y BHUrYM VY'yShNV.     Who is looking to earth, and it trembleth, He cometh against hills, and they smoke.     qui respicit terram et tremet tangit montes et fumabunt
 
33.    I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.     I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.     אשירה  ליהוה  בחיי

בעודי׃
    'aShYUrH LYHVH BChYY 'aZMUrH L'aLHY B'yVDY.     I sing to Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.     cantabo Domino in vita mea psallam Deo quamdiu sum
 
34.    Let your meditation be sweet to him. I will rejoice in Yahweh.     My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.     יערב  עליו  שיחי
