2.    Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.     Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.     הצילני  מאיבי  אלהי 
ממתקוממי  תשגבני׃
    HTShYLNY M'aYBY 'aLHY MMThQVMMY ThShGBNY.     Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God, From my withstanders set me on high.     erue me de inimicis meis Deus meus et a resistentibus mihi protege me
 
3.    For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, Yahweh.     For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.     הצילני  מפעלי  און 
ומאנשי  דמים
הושיעני׃
    HTShYLNY MPh'yLY 'aVN VM'aNShY DMYM HVShY'yNY.     Deliver me from workers of iniquity, And from men of blood save me.     libera me ab operariis iniquitatis et a viris sanguinum salva me
 
4.    I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!     They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.     כי  הנה  ארבו  לנפשי 
יגורו  עלי  עזים
לא־פשעי  ולא־חטאתי
יהוה׃
    KY HNH 'aUrBV LNPhShY YGVUrV 'yLY 'yZYM L'a-PhSh'yY VL'a-ChT'aThY YHVH.     For, lo, they laid wait for my soul, Assembled against me are strong ones, Not my transgression nor my sin, O Jehovah.     quia ecce insidiati sunt animae meae congregantur adversum me fortissimi
 
5.    You, Yahweh God of Armies, the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the wicked traitors. Selah.     Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.     בלי־עון  ירוצון 
ויכוננו  עורה
לקראתי  וראה׃
    BLY-'yVN YUrVTShVN VYKVNNV 'yVUrH LQUr'aThY VUr'aH.     Without punishment they run and prepare themselves, Stir up to meet me, and see.     absque iniquitate mea et absque peccato meo Domine non egi inique et illi currunt et praeparantur
 
6.    They return at evening, howling like dogs, and prowl around the city.     They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.     ואתה  יהוה־אלהים 
צבאות  אלהי  ישראל
הקיצה  לפקד
כל־הגוים  אל־תחן
כל־בגדי  און  סלה׃
    V'aThH YHVH-'aLHYM TShB'aVTh 'aLHY YShUr'aL HQYTShH LPhQD KL-HGVYM 'aL-ThChN KL-BGDY 'aVN SLH.     And Thou, Jehovah, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Favour not any treacherous dealers of iniquity. Selah.     surge ex adverso pro me et respice et tu Domine Deus exercituum Deus Israhel evigila ut visites omnes gentes non miserearis universis qui operantur iniquitatem semper
 
7.    Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, "For," they say, "who hears us?"     Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?     ישובו  לערב  יהמו 
ככלב  ויסובבו  עיר׃
    YShVBV L'yUrB YHMV KKLB VYSVBBV 'yYUr.     They turn back at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go round about the city.     revertantur ad vesperam et latrent ut canis et circumeant civitatem
 
8.    But you, Yahweh, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.     But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.     הנה  יביעון  בפיהם 
חרבות  בשפתותיהם
כי־מי  שמע׃
    HNH YBY'yVN BPhYHM ChUrBVTh BShPhThVThYHM KY-MY ShM'y.     Lo, they belch out with their mouths, Swords are in their lips, for `Who heareth?`     ecce loquuntur in ore suo gladii in labiis eorum quasi nemo audiat
 
9.    Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, for God is my high tower.     Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.     ואתה  יהוה 
תשחק־למו  תלעג
לכל־גוים׃
    V'aThH YHVH ThShChQ-LMV ThL'yG LKL-GVYM.     And Thou, O Jehovah dost laugh at them, Thou dost mock at all the nations.     tu autem Domine deridebis eos subsannabis omnes gentes
 
10.    My God will go before me with his loving kindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.     The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.     עזו  אליך  אשמרה 
כי־אלהים  משגבי׃
    'yZV 'aLYK 'aShMUrH KY-'aLHYM MShGBY.     O my Strength, unto Thee I take heed, For God is my tower -- the God of my kindness.     fortitudinem meam ad te servabo quoniam tu Deus elevator meus
 
11.    Don't kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, Lord our shield.     Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.     אלהי  חסדו  יקדמני 
אלהים  יראני
בשררי׃
    'aLHY ChSDV YQDMNY 'aLHYM YUr'aNY BShUrUrY.     God doth go before me, He causeth me to look on mine enemies.     Dei mei misericordia praeveniet me
 
12.    For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride, for the curses and lies which they utter.     For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.     אל־תהרגם  פן־ישכחו 
עמי  הניעמו  בחילך
והורידמו  מגננו
אדני׃
    'aL-ThHUrGM PhN-YShKChV 'yMY HNY'yMV BChYLK VHVUrYDMV MGNNV 'aDNY.     Slay them not, lest my people forget, Shake them by Thy strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.     Deus ostendit mihi in insidiatoribus meis ne occidas eos ne forte obliviscantur populi mei disperge eos in fortitudine tua et destrue eos protector noster Domine
 
13.    Consume them in wrath. Consume them, and they will be no more. Let them know that God rules in Jacob, to the ends of the earth. Selah.     Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.     חטאת־פימו 
דבר־שפתימו  וילכדו
בגאונם  ומאלה
ומכחש  יספרו׃
    ChT'aTh-PhYMV DBUr-ShPhThYMV VYLKDV BG'aVNM VM'aLH VMKChSh YSPhUrV.     The sin of their mouth is a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And from the curse and lying they recount.     in peccato oris sui in sermone labiorum suorum et capiantur in superbia sua maledictionem et mendacium narrantes
 
14.    At evening let them return. Let them howl like a dog, and go around the city.     And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.     כלה  בחמה  כלה 
ואינמו  וידעו
כי־אלהים  משל
ביעקב  לאפסי  הארץ
סלה׃
    KLH BChMH KLH V'aYNMV VYD'yV KY-'aLHYM MShL BY'yQB L'aPhSY H'aUrTSh SLH.     Consume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. Selah.     consume in furore consume ut non subsistant et sciant quoniam Deus dominatur Iacob in finibus terrae semper
 
15.    They shall wander up and down for food, and wait all night if they aren't satisfied.     Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.     וישובו  לערב  יהמו 
ככלב  ויסובבו  עיר׃
    VYShVBV L'yUrB YHMV KKLB VYSVBBV 'yYUr.     And they turn back at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And they go round about the city.     et convertantur ad vesperam et latrent ut canis et circumeant civitatem
 
16.    But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.     But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.     המה  ינועון  לאכל 
אם־לא  ישבעו
וילינו׃
    HMH YNV'yVN L'aKL 'aM-L'a YShB'yV VYLYNV.     They -- they wander for food, If they are not satisfied -- then they murmur.     ipsi vagabuntur ut comedant et cum saturati non fuerint murmurabunt
 
17.    To you, my strength, I will sing praises. For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.     Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.     ואני  אשיר  עזך 
וארנן  לבקר  חסדך
כי־היית  משגב  לי
ומנוס  ביום  צר־
לי׃
