2.    Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.     Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.     הרנינו  לאלהים

    HUrNYNV L'aLHYM 'yVZNV HUrY'yV L'aLHY Y'yQB.     Cry aloud to God our strength, Shout to the God of Jacob.     laudate Deum fortitudinem nostram iubilate Deo Iacob
 
3.    Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.     Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.     שאו־זמרה  ותנו־תף 
כנור  נעים  עם־נבל׃
    Sh'aV-ZMUrH VThNV-ThPh KNVUr N'yYM 'yM-NBL.     Lift up a song, and give out a timbrel, A pleasant harp with psaltery.     adsumite carmen et date tympanum citharam decoram cum psalterio
 
4.    For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.     For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.     תקעו  בחדש  שופר 
בכסה  ליום  חגנו׃
    ThQ'yV BChDSh ShVPhUr BKSH LYVM ChGNV.     Blow in the month a trumpet, In the new moon, at the day of our festival,     clangite in neomenia bucina et in medio mense die sollemnitatis nostrae

7.    You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah." Selah.     Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.     הסירותי  מסבל  שכמו 
כפיו  מדוד  תעברנה׃
    HSYUrVThY MSBL ShKMV KPhYV MDVD Th'yBUrNH.     From the burden his shoulder I turned aside, His hands from the basket pass over.     amovi ab onere umerum eius manus eius a cofino recesserunt
 
8.    "Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!     Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;     בצרה  קראת  ואחלצך 
אענך  בסתר  רעם
אבחנך  על־מי  מריבה
סלה׃
    BTShUrH QUr'aTh V'aChLTShK 'a'yNK BSThUr Ur'yM 'aBChNK 'yL-MY MUrYBH SLH.     In distress thou hast called and I deliver thee, I answer thee in the secret place of thunder, I try thee by the waters of Meribah. Selah.     in tribulatione invocasti et erui te exaudivi te in abscondito tonitrui probavi te super aquam Contradictionis semper
 
9.    There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.     There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.     שמע  עמי  ואעידה  בך 
ישראל  אם־תשמע־לי׃
    ShM'y 'yMY V'a'yYDH BK YShUr'aL 'aM-ThShM'y-LY.     Hear, O My people, and I testify to thee, O Israel, if thou dost hearken to me:     audi populus meus et contestor te Israhel si audieris me
 
10.    I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.     I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.     לא־יהיה  בך  אל  זר 
ולא  תשתחוה  לאל
נכר׃
    L'a-YHYH BK 'aL ZUr VL'a ThShThChVH L'aL NKUr.     There is not in thee a strange god, And thou bowest not thyself to a strange god.     non sit in te deus alienus et non adores deum peregrinum
 
11.    But my people didn't listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.     But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.     אנכי  יהוה  אלהיך 
המעלך  מארץ  מצרים
הרחב־פיך  ואמלאהו׃
    'aNKY YHVH 'aLHYK HM'yLK M'aUrTSh MTShUrYM HUrChB-PhYK V'aML'aHV.     I am Jehovah thy God, Who bringeth thee up out of the land of Egypt. Enlarge thy mouth, and I fill it.     ego sum Dominus Deus tuus qui eduxi te de terra Aegypti dilata os tuum et implebo illud
 
12.    So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.     So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.     ולא־שמע  עמי  לקולי 
וישראל  לא־אבה  לי׃
    VL'a-ShM'y 'yMY LQVLY VYShUr'aL L'a-'aBH LY.     But, My people hearkened not to My voice, And Israel hath not consented to Me.     et non audivit populus meus vocem meam et Israhel non credidit mihi
 
13.    Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!     Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!     ואשלחהו  בשרירות 
לבם  ילכו
במועצותיהם׃
    V'aShLChHV BShUrYUrVTh LBM YLKV BMV'yTShVThYHM.     And I send them away in the enmity of their heart, They walk in their own counsels.     et dimisi eum in pravitate cordis sui ambulabunt in consiliis suis
 
14.    I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.     I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.     לו  עמי  שמע  לי 
ישראל  בדרכי
יהלכו׃
    LV 'yMY ShM'y LY YShUr'aL BDUrKY YHLKV.     O that My people were hearkening to Me, Israel in My ways would walk.     utinam populus meus audisset me Israhel in viis meis ambulasset
 
15.    The haters of Yahweh would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.     The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.     כמעט  אויביהם 
אכניע  ועל  צריהם
אשיב  ידי׃
    KM'yT 'aVYBYHM 'aKNY'y V'yL TShUrYHM 'aShYB YDY.     As a little thing their enemies I cause to bow, And against their adversaries I turn back My hand,     quasi nihilum inimicos eius humiliassem et super hostes eorum vertissem manum meam
 
16.    But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock."     He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.     משנאי  יהוה 
יכחשו־לו  ויהי  עתם
לעולם׃
    MShN'aY YHVH YKChShV-LV VYHY 'yThM L'yVLM.     Those hating Jehovah feign obedience to Him, But their time is -- to the age.     qui oderunt Dominum negabunt eum et erit tempus eorum in saeculo
