1.    Yahweh said to Moses, "Chisel two stone tablets like the first: and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.     And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.     ויאמר  יהוה  אל־משה 
פסל־לך  שני־לחת
אבנים  כראשנים
וכתבתי  על־הלחת
את־הדברים  אשר  היו

אשר  שברת׃
    VY'aMUr YHVH 'aL-MShH PhSL-LK ShNY-LChTh 'aBNYM KUr'aShNYM VKThBThY 'yL-HLChTh 'aTh-HDBUrYM 'aShUr HYV 'yL-HLChTh HUr'aShNYM 'aShUr ShBUrTh.     And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first, and I have written on the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou hast broken;     ac deinceps praecide ait tibi duas tabulas lapideas instar priorum et scribam super eas verba quae habuerunt tabulae quas fregisti
 
2.    Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain.     And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.     והיה  נכון  לבקר 
ועלית  בבקר  אל־הר
סיני  ונצבת  לי  שם
על־ראש  ההר׃
    VHYH NKVN LBQUr V'yLYTh BBQUr 'aL-HUr SYNY VNTShBTh LY ShM 'yL-Ur'aSh HHUr.     and be prepared at morning, and thou hast come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and hast stood before Me there, on the top of the mount,     esto paratus mane ut ascendas statim in montem Sinai stabisque mecum super verticem montis
 
3.    No one shall come up with you; neither let anyone be seen throughout all the mountain; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain."     And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.     ואיש  לא־יעלה  עמך 
וגם־איש  אל־ירא
בכל־ההר  גם־הצאן
והבקר  אל־ירעו
אל־מול  ההר  ההוא׃
    V'aYSh L'a-Y'yLH 'yMK VGM-'aYSh 'aL-YUr'a BKL-HHUr GM-HTSh'aN VHBQUr 'aL-YUr'yV 'aL-MVL HHUr HHV'a.     and no man cometh up with thee, and also no man is seen in all the mount, also the flock and the herd do not feed over-against that mount.`     nullus ascendat tecum nec videatur quispiam per totum montem boves quoque et oves non pascantur e contra
 
4.    He chiseled two tablets of stone like the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and took in his hand two stone tablets.     And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.     ויפסל  שני־לחת

    VYPhSL ShNY-LChTh 'aBNYM KUr'aShNYM VYShKM MShH BBQUr VY'yL 'aL-HUr SYNY K'aShUr TShVH YHVH 'aThV VYQCh BYDV ShNY LChTh 'aBNYM.     And he heweth two tables of stone like the first, and Moses riseth early in the morning, and goeth up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah commanded him, and he taketh in his hand two tables of stone.     excidit ergo duas tabulas lapideas quales ante fuerant et de nocte consurgens ascendit in montem Sinai sicut ei praeceperat Dominus portans secum tabulas
 
5.    Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahweh.     And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.     וירד  יהוה  בענן 
ויתיצב  עמו  שם
ויקרא  בשם  יהוה׃
    VYUrD YHVH B'yNN VYThYTShB 'yMV ShM VYQUr'a BShM YHVH.     And Jehovah cometh down in a cloud, and stationeth Himself with him there, and calleth in the Name of Jehovah,     cumque descendisset Dominus per nubem stetit Moses cum eo invocans nomen Domini
 
6.    Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, "Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,     And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,     ויעבר  יהוה 
על־פניו  ויקרא
יהוה  יהוה  אל  רחום
וחנון  ארך  אפים
ורב־  חסד  ואמת׃
    VY'yBUr YHVH 'yL-PhNYV VYQUr'a YHVH YHVH 'aL UrChVM VChNVN 'aUrK 'aPhYM VUrB- ChSD V'aMTh.     and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: `Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,     quo transeunte coram eo ait Dominator Domine Deus misericors et clemens patiens et multae miserationis ac verus
 
7.    keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children's children, on the third and on the fourth generation."     Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.     נצר  חסד  לאלפים

8.    Moses hurried and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.     And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.     וימהר  משה  ויקד 
ארצה  וישתחו׃
    VYMHUr MShH VYQD 'aUrTShH VYShThChV.     And Moses hasteth, and boweth to the earth, and doth obeisance,     festinusque Moses curvatus est pronus in terram et adorans
 
9.    He said, "If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us; although this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance."     And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.     ויאמר  אם־נא  מצאתי 
חן  בעיניך  אדני
ילך־נא  אדני
בקרבנו  כי  עם־קשה־
ערף  הוא  וסלחת
לעוננו  ולחטאתנו
ונחלתנו׃
    VY'aMUr 'aM-N'a MTSh'aThY ChN B'yYNYK 'aDNY YLK-N'a 'aDNY BQUrBNV KY 'yM-QShH- 'yUrPh HV'a VSLChTh L'yVNNV VLChT'aThNV VNChLThNV.     and saith, `If, I pray Thee, I have found grace in Thine eyes, O my Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go in our midst (for it is a stiff-necked people), and thou hast forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and hast inherited us.`     ait si inveni gratiam in conspectu tuo Domine obsecro ut gradiaris nobiscum populus enim durae cervicis est et auferas iniquitates nostras atque peccata nosque possideas
 
10.    He said, "Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which you are shall see the work of Yahweh; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.     And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.     ויאמר  הנה  אנכי 
כרת  ברית  נגד
כל־עמך  אעשה  נפלאת
אשר  לא־נבראו
בכל־הארץ
ובכל־הגוים  וראה
כל־העם  אשר־אתה
בקרבו  את־מעשה
יהוה  כי־  נורא  הוא
אשר  אני  עשה  עמך׃
    VY'aMUr HNH 'aNKY KUrTh BUrYTh NGD KL-'yMK 'a'yShH NPhL'aTh 'aShUr L'a-NBUr'aV BKL-H'aUrTSh VBKL-HGVYM VUr'aH KL-H'yM 'aShUr-'aThH BQUrBV 'aTh-M'yShH YHVH KY- NVUr'a HV'a 'aShUr 'aNY 'yShH 'yMK.     And He saith, `Lo, I am making a covenant: before all thy people I do wonders, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst thou art have seen the work of Jehovah, for it is fearful that which I am doing with thee.     respondit Dominus ego inibo pactum videntibus cunctis signa faciam quae numquam sunt visa super terram nec in ullis gentibus ut cernat populus in cuius es medio opus Domini terribile quod facturus sum
 
11.    Observe that which I command you this day. Behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.     Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.     שמר־לך  את  אשר 
אנכי  מצוך  היום
הנני  גרש  מפניך
את־האמרי  והכנעני
והחתי  והפרזי
והחוי  והיבוסי׃
    ShMUr-LK 'aTh 'aShUr 'aNKY MTShVK HYVM HNNY GUrSh MPhNYK 'aTh-H'aMUrY VHKN'yNY VHChThY VHPhUrZY VHChVY VHYBVSY.     `Observe for thyself that which I am commanding thee to-day: lo, I am casting out from before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;     observa cuncta quae hodie mando tibi ego ipse eiciam ante faciem tuam Amorreum et Chananeum et Hettheum Ferezeum quoque et Eveum et Iebuseum
 
12.    Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you:     Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:     השמר  לך  פן־תכרת 
ברית  ליושב  הארץ
אשר  אתה  בא  עליה
פן־יהיה  למוקש
בקרבך׃
    HShMUr LK PhN-ThKUrTh BUrYTh LYVShB H'aUrTSh 'aShUr 'aThH B'a 'yLYH PhN-YHYH LMVQSh BQUrBK.     take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which thou art going, lest it become a snare in thy midst;     cave ne umquam cum habitatoribus terrae illius iungas amicitias quae tibi sint in ruinam
 
13.    but you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their Asherim;     But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:     כי  את־מזבחתם 
תתצון  ואת־מצבתם
תשברון  ואת־אשריו
תכרתון׃
    KY 'aTh-MZBChThM ThThTShVN V'aTh-MTShBThM ThShBUrVN V'aTh-'aShUrYV ThKUrThVN.     for their altars ye break down, and their standing pillars ye shiver, and its shrines ye cut down;     sed aras eorum destrue confringe statuas lucosque succide
 
14.    for you shall worship no other god: for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.     For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:     כי  לא  תשתחוה  לאל

    KY L'a ThShThChVH L'aL 'aChUr KY YHVH QN'a ShMV 'aL QN'a HV'a.     for ye do not bow yourselves to another god -- for Jehovah, whose name is Zealous, is a zealous God.     noli adorare deum alienum Dominus Zelotes nomen eius Deus est aemulator
 
15.    "Don't make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, lest they play the prostitute after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and one call you and you eat of his sacrifice;     Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;     פן־תכרת  ברית 
ליושב  הארץ  וזנו
אחרי  אלהיהם  וזבחו
לאלהיהם  וקרא  לך
ואכלת  מזבחו׃
    PhN-ThKUrTh BUrYTh LYVShB H'aUrTSh VZNV 'aChUrY 'aLHYHM VZBChV L'aLHYHM VQUr'a LK V'aKLTh MZBChV.     `Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and one hath called to thee, and thou hast eaten of his sacrifice,     ne ineas pactum cum hominibus illarum regionum ne cum fornicati fuerint cum diis suis et adoraverint simulacra eorum vocet te quispiam ut comedas de immolatis
 
16.    and you take of their daughters to your sons, and their daughters play the prostitute after their gods, and make your sons play the prostitute after their gods.     And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.     ולקחת  מבנתיו

17.    "You shall make no cast idols for yourselves.     Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.     אלהי  מסכה  לא

    'aLHY MSKH L'a Th'yShH-LK.     a molten god thou dost not make to thyself.     deos conflatiles non facies tibi
 
18.    "You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.     The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.     את־חג  המצות  תשמר

19.    "All that opens the womb is mine; and all your livestock that is male, the firstborn of cow and sheep.     All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.     כל־פטר  רחם  לי

שור  ושה׃
    KL-PhTUr UrChM LY VKL-MQNK ThZKUr PhTUr ShVUr VShH.     `All opening a womb are Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;     omne quod aperit vulvam generis masculini meum erit de cunctis animantibus tam de bubus quam de ovibus meum erit
 
20.    The firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb: and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. No one shall appear before me empty.     But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.     ופטר  חמור  תפדה

21.    "Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.     Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.     ששת  ימים  תעבד

22.    "You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year's end.     And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.     וחג  שבעת  תעשה  לך

23.    Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh, the God of Israel.     Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel.     שלש  פעמים  בשנה

24.    For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders; neither shall any man desire your land when you go up to appear before Yahweh, your God, three times in the year.     For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.     כי־אוריש  גוים 
מפניך  והרחבתי
את־גבלך  ולא־יחמד
איש  את־ארצך  בעלתך
לראות  את־פני  יהוה
אלהיך  שלש  פעמים
בשנה׃
    KY-'aVUrYSh GVYM MPhNYK VHUrChBThY 'aTh-GBLK VL'a-YChMD 'aYSh 'aTh-'aUrTShK B'yLThK LUr'aVTh 'aTh-PhNY YHVH 'aLHYK ShLSh Ph'yMYM BShNH.     for I dispossess nations from before thee, and have enlarged thy border, and no man doth desire thy land in thy going up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in a year.     cum enim tulero gentes a facie tua et dilatavero terminos tuos nullus insidiabitur terrae tuae ascendente te et apparente in conspectu Domini Dei tui ter in anno
 
25.    "You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the Passover be left to the morning.     Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.     לא־תשחט  על־חמץ 
דם־זבחי  ולא־ילין
לבקר  זבח  חג  הפסח׃
    L'a-ThShChT 'yL-ChMTSh DM-ZBChY VL'a-YLYN LBQUr ZBCh ChG HPhSCh.     `Thou dost not slaughter with a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice; and the sacrifice of the feast of the passover doth not remain till morning:     non immolabis super fermento sanguinem hostiae meae neque residebit mane de victima sollemnitatis phase
 
26.    "You shall bring the first of the first fruits of your ground to the house of Yahweh your God. "You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk."     The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.     ראשית  בכורי  אדמתך

27.    Yahweh said to Moses, "Write you these words: for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."     And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.     ויאמר  יהוה  אל־משה 
כתב־לך  את־הדברים
האלה  כי  על־פי
הדברים  האלה  כרתי
אתך  ברית
ואת־ישראל׃
    VY'aMUr YHVH 'aL-MShH KThB-LK 'aTh-HDBUrYM H'aLH KY 'yL-PhY HDBUrYM H'aLH KUrThY 'aThK BUrYTh V'aTh-YShUr'aL.     And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Write for thyself these words, for, according to the tenor of these words I have made with thee a covenant, and with Israel.`     dixitque Dominus ad Mosen scribe tibi verba haec quibus et tecum et cum Israhel pepigi foedus
 
28.    He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.     And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.     ויהי־שם  עם־יהוה

את  דברי  הברית

    VYHY-ShM 'yM-YHVH 'aUrB'yYM YVM V'aUrB'yYM LYLH LChM L'a 'aKL VMYM L'a ShThH VYKThB 'yL-HLChTh 'aTh DBUrY HBUrYTh 'yShUrTh HDBUrYM.     And he is there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; bread he hath not eaten, and water he hath not drunk; and he writeth on the tables the matters of the covenant -- the ten matters.     fecit ergo ibi cum Domino quadraginta dies et quadraginta noctes panem non comedit et aquam non bibit et scripsit in tabulis verba foederis decem
 
29.    It happened, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mountain, that Moses didn't know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.     And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.     ויהי  ברדת  משה  מהר 
סיני  ושני  לחת
העדת  ביד־משה
ברדתו  מן־ההר  ומשה
לא־ידע  כי  קרן  עור
פניו  בדברו  אתו׃
    VYHY BUrDTh MShH MHUr SYNY VShNY LChTh H'yDTh BYD-MShH BUrDThV MN-HHUr VMShH L'a-YD'y KY QUrN 'yVUr PhNYV BDBUrV 'aThV.     And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony are in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,     cumque descenderet Moses de monte Sinai tenebat duas tabulas testimonii et ignorabat quod cornuta esset facies sua ex consortio sermonis Dei
 
30.    When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.     And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.     וירא  אהרן  וכל־בני 
ישראל  את־משה  והנה
קרן  עור  פניו
וייראו  מגשת  אליו׃
    VYUr'a 'aHUrN VKL-BNY YShUr'aL 'aTh-MShH VHNH QUrN 'yVUr PhNYV VYYUr'aV MGShTh 'aLYV.     and Aaron seeth -- all the sons of Israel also -- Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.     videntes autem Aaron et filii Israhel cornutam Mosi faciem timuerunt prope accedere
 
31.    Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses spoke to them.     And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.     ויקרא  אלהם  משה 
וישבו  אליו  אהרן
וכל־הנשאים  בעדה
וידבר  משה  אלהם׃
    VYQUr'a 'aLHM MShH VYShBV 'aLYV 'aHUrN VKL-HNSh'aYM B'yDH VYDBUr MShH 'aLHM.     And Moses calleth unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the company return unto him, and Moses speaketh unto them;     vocatique ab eo reversi sunt tam Aaron quam principes synagogae et postquam locutus est
 
32.    Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them all of the commandments that Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.     And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.     ואחרי־כן  נגשו 
כל־בני  ישראל
ויצום  את  כל־אשר
דבר  יהוה  אתו  בהר
סיני׃
    V'aChUrY-KN NGShV KL-BNY YShUr'aL VYTShVM 'aTh KL-'aShUr DBUr YHVH 'aThV BHUr SYNY.     and afterwards have all the sons of Israel come nigh, and he chargeth them with all that Jehovah hath spoken with him in mount Sinai.     venerunt ad eum etiam omnes filii Israhel quibus praecepit cuncta quae audierat a Domino in monte Sinai
 
33.    When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.     And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.     ויכל  משה  מדבר  אתם 
ויתן  על־פניו
מסוה׃
    VYKL MShH MDBUr 'aThM VYThN 'yL-PhNYV MSVH.     And Moses finisheth speaking with them, and putteth on his face a vail;     impletisque sermonibus posuit velamen super faciem suam
 
34.    But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded.     But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.     ובבא  משה  לפני 
יהוה  לדבר  אתו
יסיר  את־המסוה
עד־צאתו  ויצא  ודבר
אל־בני  ישראל  את
אשר  יצוה׃
    VBB'a MShH LPhNY YHVH LDBUr 'aThV YSYUr 'aTh-HMSVH 'yD-TSh'aThV VYTSh'a VDBUr 'aL-BNY YShUr'aL 'aTh 'aShUr YTShVH.     and in the going in of Moses before Jehovah to speak with Him, he turneth aside the vail until his coming out; and he hath come out and hath spoken unto the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;     quod ingressus ad Dominum et loquens cum eo auferebat donec exiret et tunc loquebatur ad filios Israhel omnia quae sibi fuerant imperata
 
35.    The children of Israel saw Moses' face, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.     And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.     וראו  בני־ישראל 
את־פני  משה  כי  קרן
עור  פני  משה  והשיב
משה  את־  המסוה
על־פניו  עד־באו
לדבר  אתו׃
    VUr'aV BNY-YShUr'aL 'aTh-PhNY MShH KY QUrN 'yVUr PhNY MShH VHShYB MShH 'aTh- HMSVH 'yL-PhNYV 'yD-B'aV LDBUr 'aThV.     and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses that the skin of the face of Moses hath shone, and Moses hath put back the vail on his face until his going in to speak with Him.     qui videbant faciem egredientis Mosi esse cornutam sed operiebat rursus ille faciem suam si quando loquebatur ad eos
