1.    Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."     Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength?     MY-ZH B'a M'aDVM ChMVTSh BGDYM MBTShUrH ZH HDVUr BLBVShV TSh'yH BUrB KChV 'aNY MDBUr BTShDQH UrB LHVShY'y.     `Who is this coming from Edom? With dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is honourable in his clothing, Travelling in the abundance of his power?` -- `I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.`     quis est iste qui venit de Edom tinctis vestibus de Bosra iste formonsus in stola sua gradiens in multitudine fortitudinis suae ego qui loquor iustitiam et propugnator sum ad salvandum
 
2.    Why are you red in your clothing, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?     Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?     מדוע  אדם  ללבושך 
ובגדיך  כדרך  בגת׃
    MDV'y 'aDM LLBVShK VBGDYK KDUrK BGTh.     `Wherefore is thy clothing red? And thy garments as treading in a wine fat?`     quare ergo rubrum est indumentum tuum et vestimenta tua sicut calcantium in torculari
 
3.    "I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yes, I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.     I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.     פורה  דרכתי  לבדי

אתי  ואדרכם  באפי
וארמסם  בחמתי  ויז
נצחם  על־בגדי
וכל־מלבושי
אגאלתי׃
    PhVUrH DUrKThY LBDY VM'yMYM 'aYN-'aYSh 'aThY V'aDUrKM B'aPhY V'aUrMSM BChMThY VYZ NTShChM 'yL-BGDY VKL-MLBVShY 'aG'aLThY.     -- `A wine-press I have trodden by myself, And of the peoples there is no one with me, And I tread them in mine anger, And I trample them in my fury, Sprinkled is their strength on my garments, And all my clothing I have polluted.     torcular calcavi solus et de gentibus non est vir mecum calcavi eos in furore meo et conculcavi eos in ira mea et aspersus est sanguis eorum super vestimenta mea et omnia indumenta mea inquinavi
 
4.    For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.     For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.     כי  יום  נקם  בלבי

5.    I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my wrath, it upheld me.     And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.     ואביט  ואין  עזר 
ואשתומם  ואין  סומך
ותושע  לי  זרעי
וחמתי  היא  סמכתני׃
    V'aBYT V'aYN 'yZUr V'aShThVMM V'aYN SVMK VThVSh'y LY ZUr'yY VChMThY HY'a SMKThNY.     And I look attentively, and there is none helping, And I am astonished that there is none supporting, And give salvation to me doth mine own arm. And my wrath -- it hath supported me.     circumspexi et non erat auxiliator quaesivi et non fuit qui adiuvaret et salvavit mihi brachium meum et indignatio mea ipsa auxiliata est mihi
 
6.    I trod down the peoples in my anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."     And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.     ואבוס  עמים  באפי 
ואשכרם  בחמתי
ואוריד  לארץ  נצחם׃
    V'aBVS 'yMYM B'aPhY V'aShKUrM BChMThY V'aVUrYD L'aUrTSh NTShChM.     And I tread down peoples in mine anger, And I make them drunk in my fury, And I bring down to earth their strength.     et conculcavi populos in furore meo et inebriavi eos in indignatione mea et detraxi in terra virtutem eorum

    ChSDY YHVH 'aZKYUr ThHLTh YHVH K'yL KL 'aShUr-GMLNV YHVH VUrB-TVB LBYTh YShUr'aL 'aShUr-GMLM KUrChMYV VKUrB ChSDYV.     The kind acts of Jehovah I make mention of, The praises of Jehovah, According to all that Jehovah hath done for us, And the abundance of the goodness to the house of Israel, That He hath done for them, According to His mercies, And according to the abundance of His kind acts.     miserationum Domini recordabor laudem Domini super omnibus quae reddidit nobis Dominus et super multitudinem bonorum domui Israhel quae largitus est eis secundum indulgentiam suam et secundum multitudinem misericordiarum suarum

    VY'aMUr 'aK-'yMY HMH BNYM L'a YShQUrV VYHY LHM LMVShY'y.     And He saith, Only My people they are, Sons -- they lie not, and He is to them for a saviour.     et dixit verumtamen populus meus est filii non negantes et factus est eis salvator

Where is He who is bringing them up from the sea, The shepherd of his flock?     MVLYK LYMYN MShH ZUrV'y ThPh'aUrThV BVQ'y MYM MPhNYHM L'yShVTh LV ShM 'yVLM.     Leading by the right hand of Moses, the arm of His glory, Cleaving waters from before them, To make to Himself a name age-during.     qui eduxit ad dexteram Mosen brachio maiestatis suae qui scidit aquas ante eos ut faceret sibi nomen sempiternum

14.    As the livestock that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Yahweh caused them to rest; so you led your people, to make yourself a glorious name.     As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.     כבהמה  בבקעה  תרד 
רוח  יהוה  תניחנו
כן  נהגת  עמך  לעשות
לך  שם  תפארת׃
    KBHMH BBQ'yH ThUrD UrVCh YHVH ThNYChNV KN NHGTh 'yMK L'yShVTh LK ShM ThPh'aUrTh.     As a beast into a valley goeth down, The Spirit of Jehovah causeth him to rest, So hast Thou led Thy people, To make to Thyself a glorious name.     quasi animal in campo descendens spiritus Domini ductor eius fuit sic adduxisti populum tuum ut faceres tibi nomen gloriae
 
15.    Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where are your zeal and your mighty acts? the yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained toward me.     Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?     הבט  משמים  וראה 
מזבל  קדשך  ותפארתך
איה  קנאתך  וגבורתך
המון  מעיך  ורחמיך
אלי  התאפקו׃

וישראל  לא  יכירנו
אתה  יהוה  אבינו
גאלנו  מעולם  שמך׃

17.    O Yahweh, why do you make us to err from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? מדרכיך  תקשיח  לבנו
מיראתך  שוב  למען
