VY'aMUrV HShUrYM 'aL-HMLK YVMTh N'a 'aTh-H'aYSh HZH KY-'yL-KN HV'a-MUrPh'a 'aTh- YDY 'aNShY HMLChMH HNSh'aUrYM B'yYUr HZ'aTh V'aTh YDY KL-H'yM LDBUr 'aLYHM KDBUrYM H'aLH KY H'aYSh HZH 'aYNNV DUrSh LShLVM L'yM HZH KY 'aM-LUr'yH. | And the heads say unto the king, `Let, we pray thee, this man be put to death, because that he is making feeble the hands of the men of war, who are left in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking unto them according to these words, for this man is not seeking for the peace of this people, but for its evil.` | et dixerunt principes regi rogamus ut occidatur homo iste de industria enim dissolvit manus virorum bellantium qui remanserunt in civitate hac et manus universi populi loquens ad eos iuxta verba haec siquidem homo hic non quaerit pacem populi huius sed malum | |||||

ויאמר עבד־מלך הכושי אל־ירמיהו שים נא בלואי הסחבות והמלחים תחת אצלות ידיך מתחת לחבלים ויעש ירמיהו כן׃ |

Obey, I beg you, the voice of Yahweh, in that which I speak to you: so it shall be well with you, and your soul shall live. | But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver thee. | 22. | behold, all the women who are left in the king of Judah's house shall be brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes, and those women shall say, Your familiar friends have set you on, and have prevailed over you: [now that] your feet are sunk in the mire, they are turned away back. | And, behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah's house shall be brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes, and those women shall say, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed against thee: thy feet are sunk in the mire, and they are turned away back. |

וכי־ישמעו השרים כי־דברתי אתך ובאו אליך ואמרו אליך הגידה־נא לנו מה־דברת אל־המלך אל־תכחד ממנו ולא נמיתך ומה־דבר אליך המלך׃ |
