2.    You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;     Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;     ואתה  בן־אדם  שא 
על־צר  קינה׃
    V'aThH BN-'aDM Sh'a 'yL-TShUr QYNH.     `And thou, son of man, lift up concerning Tyre a lamentation, and thou hast said to Tyre:     tu ergo fili hominis adsume super Tyrum lamentum
 
3.    and tell Tyre, you who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many islands, thus says the Lord Yahweh: You, Tyre, have said, I am perfect in beauty.     And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.     ואמרת  לצור  הישבתי

29.    All who handled the oar, the mariners, [and] all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships; they shall stand on the land,     And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;     וירדו  מאניותיהם 
כל  תפשי  משוט
מלחים  כל  חבלי  הים
אל־הארץ  יעמדו׃

32.    In their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, [saying], Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the midst of the sea?     And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?     ונשאו  אליך  בניהם
