| 2. | "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'If anyone sins unintentionally, in any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and does any one of them: | Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them: |
דבר אל־בני ישראל לאמר נפש כי־תחטא בשגגה מכל מצות יהוה אשר לא תעשינה ועשה מאחת מהנה׃ |
DBUr 'aL-BNY YShUr'aL L'aMUr NPhSh KY-ThChT'a BShGGH MKL MTShVTh YHVH 'aShUr L'a Th'yShYNH V'yShH M'aChTh MHNH. | `Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, When a person doth sin through ignorance against any of the commands of Jehovah regarding things which are not to be done, and hath done something against one of these -- | loquere filiis Israhel anima cum peccaverit per ignorantiam et de universis mandatis Domini quae praecepit ut non fierent quippiam fecerit | |||||
| 3. | if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without blemish to Yahweh for a sin offering. | If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering. |

| 4. | He shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh. | And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD. |
והביא את־הפר אל־פתח אהל מועד לפני יהוה וסמך את־ידו על־ראש הפר ושחט את־הפר לפני יהוה׃ |
VHBY'a 'aTh-HPhUr 'aL-PhThCh 'aHL MV'yD LPhNY YHVH VSMK 'aTh-YDV 'yL-Ur'aSh HPhUr VShChT 'aTh-HPhUr LPhNY YHVH. | and he hath brought in the bullock unto the opening of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, and hath laid his hand on the head of the bullock, and hath slaughtered the bullock before Jehovah. | et adducet illum ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii coram Domino ponetque manum super caput eius et immolabit eum Domino | |||||
| 5. | The anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull, and bring it to the Tent of Meeting. | And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation: |

| 6. | The priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before Yahweh, before the veil of the sanctuary. | And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary. |
וטבל הכהן את־אצבעו בדם והזה מן־הדם שבע פעמים לפני יהוה את־פני פרכת הקדש׃ |
VTBL HKHN 'aTh-'aTShB'yV BDM VHZH MN-HDM ShB'y Ph'yMYM LPhNY YHVH 'aTh-PhNY PhUrKTh HQDSh. | and the priest hath dipped his finger in the blood, and sprinkled of the blood seven times before Jehovah, at the front of the vail of the sanctuary; | cumque intinxerit digitum in sanguinem asperget eo septies coram Domino contra velum sanctuarii | |||||
| 7. | The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yahweh, which is in the Tent of Meeting; and he shall pour out all of rest of the blood of the bull at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting. | And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
ונתן הכהן מן־הדם על־קרנות מזבח קטרת הסמים לפני יהוה אשר באהל מועד ואת כל־דם הפר ישפך אל־יסוד מזבח העלה אשר־פתח אהל מועד׃ |

| 8. | He shall take all the fat of the bull of the sin offering off of it; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards, | And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, |

| 9. | and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away, | And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away, |

V'aTh ShThY HKLYTh V'aTh-HChLB 'aShUr 'yLYHN 'aShUr 'yL-HKSLYM V'aTh-HYThUrTh 'yL- HKBD 'yL-HKLYVTh YSYUrNH. | and the two kidneys, and the fat which is on them, which is on the flanks, and the redundance above the liver, (beside the kidneys he doth turn it aside), | duos renunculos et reticulum quod est super eos iuxta ilia et adipem iecoris cum renunculis | |||||
| 10. | as it is taken off of the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering. | As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering. |

V'aTh-'yVUr HPhUr V'aTh-KL-BShUrV 'yL-Ur'aShV V'yL-KUr'yYV VQUrBV VPhUrShV. | `And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, besides its head, and besides its legs, and its inwards, and its dung -- | pellem vero et omnes carnes cum capite et pedibus et intestinis et fimo | |||||
| 12. | even the whole bull shall he carry forth outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. Where the ashes are poured out it shall be burned. | Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt. |
והוציא את־כל־הפר אל־מחוץ למחנה אל־מקום טהור אל־שפך הדשן ושרף אתו על־עצים באש על־שפך הדשן ישרף׃ |
VHVTShY'a 'aTh-KL-HPhUr 'aL-MChVTSh LMChNH 'aL-MQVM THVUr 'aL-ShPhK HDShN VShUrPh 'aThV 'yL-'yTShYM B'aSh 'yL-ShPhK HDShN YShUrPh. | he hath even brought out the whole bullock unto the outside of the camp, unto a clean place, unto the place of the pouring out of the ashes, and he hath burnt it on the wood with fire; beside the place of the pouring out of the ashes it is burnt. | et reliquo corpore efferet extra castra in locum mundum ubi cineres effundi solent incendetque ea super lignorum struem quae in loco effusorum cinerum cremabuntur | |||||
| 13. | "'If the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and are guilty; | And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty; |
ואם כל־עדת ישראל ישגו ונעלם דבר מעיני הקהל ועשו אחת מכל־מצות יהוה אשר לא־תעשינה ואשמו׃ |
V'aM KL-'yDTh YShUr'aL YShGV VN'yLM DBUr M'yYNY HQHL V'yShV 'aChTh MKL-MTShVTh YHVH 'aShUr L'a-Th'yShYNH V'aShMV. | `And if the whole company of Israel err ignorantly, and the thing hath been hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against one of all the commands of Jehovah concerning things which are not to be done, and have been guilty; | quod si omnis turba Israhel ignoraverit et per inperitiam fecerit quod contra mandatum Domini est | |||||
| 14. | when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting. | When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation. |
ונודעה החטאת אשר חטאו עליה והקריבו הקהל פר בן־בקר לחטאת והביאו אתו לפני אהל מועד׃ |
VNVD'yH HChT'aTh 'aShUr ChT'aV 'yLYH VHQUrYBV HQHL PhUr BN-BQUr LChT'aTh VHBY'aV 'aThV LPhNY 'aHL MV'yD. | when the sin which they have sinned concerning it hath been known, then have the assembly brought near a bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and they have brought it in before the tent of meeting; | et postea intellexerit peccatum suum offeret vitulum pro peccato adducetque eum ad ostium tabernaculi | |||||
| 15. | The elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before Yahweh; and the bull shall be killed before Yahweh. | And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD. |
וסמכו זקני העדה את־ידיהם על־ראש הפר לפני יהוה ושחט את־הפר לפני יהוה׃ |

| 18. | He shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, that is in the Tent of Meeting; and the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting. | And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |

| 23. | if his sin, in which he has sinned, is made known to him, he shall bring as his offering a goat, a male without blemish. | Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish: |
או־הודע אליו חטאתו אשר חטא בה והביא את־קרבנו שעיר עזים זכר תמים׃ |
'aV-HVD'y 'aLYV ChT'aThV 'aShUr ChT'a BH VHBY'a 'aTh-QUrBNV Sh'yYUr 'yZYM ZKUr ThMYM. | or his sin wherein he hath sinned hath been made known unto him, then he hath brought in his offering, a kid of the goats, a male, a perfect one, | et postea intellexerit peccatum suum offeret hostiam Domino hircum de capris inmaculatum | |||||
| 24. | He shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before Yahweh. It is a sin offering. | And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering. |

| 25. | The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering. He shall pour out the rest of its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering. | And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering. |

| 30. | The priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar. | And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. |
ולקח הכהן מדמה באצבעו ונתן על־קרנת מזבח העלה ואת־כל־דמה ישפך אל־יסוד המזבח׃ |

| 31. | All its fat he shall take away, like the fat is taken away from off of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven. | And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. |
ואת־כל־חלבה יסיר כאשר הוסר חלב מעל זבח השלמים והקטיר הכהן המזבחה לריח ניחח ליהוה וכפר עליו הכהן ונסלח לו׃ |
V'aTh-KL-ChLBH YSYUr K'aShUr HVSUr ChLB M'yL ZBCh HShLMYM VHQTYUr HKHN HMZBChH LUrYCh NYChCh LYHVH VKPhUr 'yLYV HKHN VNSLCh LV. | and all its fat he doth turn aside, as the fat hath been turned aside from off the sacrifice of the peace-offerings, and the priest hath made perfume on the altar, for sweet fragrance to Jehovah; and the priest hath made atonement for him, and it hath been forgiven him. | omnem autem auferens adipem sicut auferri solet de victimis pacificorum adolebit super altare in odorem suavitatis Domino rogabitque pro eo et dimittetur ei | |||||
| 32. | "'If he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish. | And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. |

V'aM-KBSh YBY'a QUrBNV LChT'aTh NQBH ThMYMH YBY'aNH. | `And if he bring in a sheep for his offering, for a sin-offering, a female, a perfect one, he doth bring in, | sin autem de pecoribus obtulerit victimam pro peccato ovem scilicet inmaculatam | |||||
| 33. | He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and kill it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. | And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. |

| 35. | All its fat he shall take away, like the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven. | And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him. |
